If you imagined a fall wedding with no choices for a bouquet beyond carrying a pot of bright yellow chrysanthemums down the aisle, you will be pleased to find the many varieties of elegant fall wedding flowers- that don't come in flower pots. Flowers with warm autumn colors including shades of wine, cranberry, deep yellows and oranges are often available without special ordering. And even if you are looking to use pink, peach, apricots or lavenders, there are several varieties of fall wedding flowers to choose from.
Popular Varieties of Fall Wedding Flowers
Calla lilies have grown in popularity with their many color and size varieties including rusty oranges and dark reds. Calla lilies have a mini version that are a frequent accent flower to bouquets or can be pulled together in a modern and creative looking bouquet with its unique cone-like shape. The larger blossom variety of this flower tied with a coordinating satin or tulle ribbon can make an excellent single flower bouquet for your bridesmaids.
Bright, lipstick red roses are a traditional favorite but by selecting different tones of red such as deep red roses or black beauty roses, your fall wedding flowers carry the autumn theme a little truer to its palette. If you know you will be going down the red path, ask your florist to have some live rose samples in various shades of red ahead of time so that you can get an up close impression of the color options. The dark red fall wedding flowers can capture the warmth of autumn and offer the classic elegance of a rose.
Colorful Fall Wedding Flowers
Gerber daisies, lilies and hydrangeas are colorful, cost efficient fall wedding flowers. These blossoms come in a wide assortment of colors and bloom sizes. Gerber daisies have a fun and simple personality and have some of the boldest, natural colors to choose from. Lilies are often thought of as white, springy flowers but there are many elegant fall varieties in deep wines and yellows. Lilies also have blossoms in large and mini versions that can work for any bouquet. Hydrangeas are typically large, colorful blooms with dozens of petals on every blossom that can be great for the flower girl's basket.
Sunflowers in bloom are the sure sign that summer is coming to an end. These warm, bright yellow and orange hued sunflowers have giant varieties great for decorative arrangements and smaller, elegant versions that are great focal pieces to your bouquet.
Autumn Whites
Fall wedding flowers don't have to be full of bright or deep colors. All white bouquets with Bianca white roses, white Gerber daisies and ivory calla lilies are meant for a bride's bouquet. Gardenia's are often fragile and can be pricey but are very classic wedding flowers. And while typically thought of for spring, white delphiniums, peonies and sweet peas can be excellent choices as well.
When meeting with your florist you should try to have your color palette in mind so that you don't let the type of flower you want and the colors available decide your entire wedding theme. If you are selecting fall wedding flowers, there are many varieties, styles and colors to choose from whether you want bright, classic or elegant arrangements.
Fall is a wonderful time for a wedding and gives plenty of inspiration when it comes to the various decorative elements of your wedding. Fall wedding favors provide you with the opportunity to give your guests nice simple gifts with a homely touch.
Here are a few ideas to consider when choosing your favors for your wedding:
- Scented candles with decorative holders make lovely gifts at any time of year, but your guests are perhaps more likely to use them in the fall when the evenings draw in earlier and choosing a scent that corresponds with the season such as bayberry, cedar or cinnamon apples. Instead of choosing the normal glass or silver metal colored holders, choose ones in copper or bronze colors or wooden holders.
- Bottles of cider punch or elderberry wine have flavors which are evocative of the season. Favor stores stock bottles which come with the option of personalized labels, which is a nice touch for your wedding.
- Give a goody bag of cookies as favors with flavors such as cinnamon, honey, chocolate and raisin. You can bake these cookies yourself at home much cheaper than you can buy them and they add that unique touch that is so important for weddings.
- Corn dollies date back centuries and are an ancient craft, but they can make lovely wedding favors. You may need a good deal of practice if you want to make them yourself although the effort will be worth it!
- Give your guests seedlings of seasonal plants such as pansies or violas which they can bring on themselves at home and plant out in their gardens.
- Recipes are nice favors and are very inexpensive too! Try recipes for dishes such as pumpkin soups, pies or breads, stews, casseroles and cakes. You can print them out on your home computer and present them rolled up like scrolls.
For 25 years with thousands of clients I've been a medical intuitive. What that means is that I can often see beyond the many presentations and illusions of life to what is really going on beyond the physical surface. In my deep meditative states I began to see that although evil does exist that most people are caught in a trap of universal pain that makes us act out wrongly. As I probed this anomaly I began to see where the crack was in the cosmic egg. It led me straight to the so-called "Fall of Man" - the true history behind the mythology of the ‘original sin’.
Wow. Where to begin! Like many people I thought the concept of original sin was a ridiculous ploy by church officials seizing a marketing opportunity. But the more involved in healing work I got the more something deeper kept calling to me. What I uncovered was pretty shocking. Apparently, Bible scholars, archeologists, and historians recently began discovering a new history. In the last 50 years many ancient texts - The Dead Sea Scrolls, The Sumerian texts, The Book of Enoch and others were unearthed and academically studied. Throughout these ancient writings that went back some 12,000 years, humankind did indeed have a fall. But it wasn’t so much of a fall as it was a push!
According to pretty recently unearthed ancient texts, advanced species intermingled with humans and created a progeny called "The nephilim." Preposterous you say? Impossible? Unfortunately - or fortunately - the more you delve into it the more probable it becomes. Suffering, war, violence - all kinds of disharmony that we see in our world could have come from a very ancient, very traumatic mating experience that has, like a stain on the window pane, tainted the way that we view the world to this day.
‘Ancient astronauts’ could have not only altered human genetics, but by mating with the primitive humans of that time, created a messy upgrade for our brains. A schism in the mechanisms we use to perceive life as well as the birthing process got drastically changed. The good news is that although these stories may not be true, if they are it could be the missing link that explains many of earths’ mysterious anomalies.
Evolution tends to be traumatic. Like any injury or pain we experience, we wish it hadn't happened that way. But who's to say what creates greatness. If you are interested in finding out more, I recommend "The Genius of the Few" by Christian and Joy O'Brien, and "Gods, Genes and Consciousness" by Paul Von Ward. "From the Ashes of Angels" by Andrew Collins, "Fingerprints of the Gods" by Graham Hancock, and "Forbidden Archeology: The Hidden History of the Human Race" by Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson, These are sure to expand your mind!
Get swept away in romance this fall. As usual, designers are pulling out all the stops designing for fashion forward women for Fall 2005.
The new look is girlish, innocent romance. Some are calling this new look "Gypsy Romantic." It is accentuated with the use of lush fabrics and rich colors with patterns inspired by middle eastern culture. It's made fun and flirty with embellishments of fur, pearls, sequins, and beading.
Velvet coats in gem tone colors such as emerald and ruby with fur trim around the collar. Taffeta dresses in gold with midnight blue velvet accents, elegant woven jacquard jackets with Inca inspired designs, shear sequined viole camisoles. A rich emerald green sweater with a seed-pearl neckline. Indian and Thai inspired tunics paired with pencil pants, a Peruvian inspired woven top paired with a short boiled wool jacket worn with a silk georgette skirt. Layering plays a big role in this new look.
Designers have taken this new romantic look into account, right down to your toes. Moroccan-inspired jeweled shoes are being called the "look of the moment." These new jeweled shoes come in a wide array of colors, and fabrics. They feature hand inlaid sequins and seed beading. Some are also further embellished with embroidery. You can find these embellished shoes in flats, wedges, open toes or 4 inch heels. The best part of these shoes is that they're fancy enough to be worn for dress-up with a gown, or to work, yet they have a bit of playfulness about them and can be worn with casual pants, jeans or capris. You can have these shoes do all the talking. Place them center stage by pairing them with a simple black dress and stockings. I guarantee you'll be stopped by strangers who'll think you're Cinderella!
There is also the bag of the season, the hobo. It seems that the old saying "everything old is new again" pertains to the hobo bag. Hobo bags have never truly gone out of style. This season the designers bring them to you in a variety of colors and fabrics. Metallic and iridescent leather hobos are hot. Woven fabric bags are hot. Suede or corduroy. Some designers have captured an edgier rock and roll look using studs, buckles and whip stitching as accents.
Play with any of these fashions. Buy a new tunic and pair it with your favorite jeans and boots. Anything goes. By adding a few new choice pieces to your existing wardrobe you too can have the "Gypsy Romantic" look.

A "slip and fall accident" or "trip and fall accident", is a kind of personal injury and is a type of "fall down" accident that occurs when the victim slips, trips or falls as a result of a dangerous or hazardous condition on someone else's property. In United States, it is a tort that based on a claim that the property owner was negligent in allowing some dangerous condition to exist that caused the slip or trip.
Each year, approximately three million people visit emergency rooms for slip and fall accident related injuries, and most of the accidents are caused by dangerous conditions such as torn carpeting, poor lighting, narrow stairs, wet or slippery floor, uneven pavement, potholes, or lack of handrails.
In a slip and fall accident, both the property owner and the injured person can be held to varying degrees of responsibility or "comparative fault" for the injury. The property owner has a responsibility to keep property safe. However, each person has a duty to watch where they are going, as well as realize that there are things that fall or spill onto walking surfaces.
However, it is the property owner's responsibility to ensure that their premises are in good and safe condition. But each year, approximately three million people visit emergency rooms for slip and fall related accidents, with the most common injuries involving the head, neck and back.
Some of the main reasons that make people slip and fall in public places are uneven paving, wet floor or obstructions left on the floor without proper warning signs.
No matter the fall happened due to an obstruction left on the floor or wet floor, the owner should take the responsibility, while if the fall happened due to uneven paving, then the local council is responsible.
If you are injured in a slip and fall accident, which resulted from someone else's negligence, then you have the right to make a claim within 3 years but do remember to collect as much evidence from the scene as you can and also go and see your doctor. Besides, make sure you take down the contact details of any witnesses, who either saw your specific accident happen or who have seen the defective area in person. Then report the accident to the relevant personnel. Finally, contact an experienced slip and fall accident attorney to help you.
So what is Gardening With Fall Bulbs really all about? The following report includes some fascinating information about Gardening With Fall Bulbs--info you can use, not just the old stuff they used to tell you.
The coming of autumn does not have to mean hanging up your garden shears and garden gloves for the year. The fall of the year is actually the time when many of the most popular bulbs bloom, and planting fall bulbs can provide your garden with much needed color almost until the moment the first snow falls.
The fall of the year is also one of the most pleasant times to work in your garden, since the heat of summer has passed. Many gardeners love spending the late summer and autumn days working in their garden.
In addition, fall bulbs are a great investment for the home gardener. After all, the great thing about bulbs is that they are able to remain in the ground, ready to spring forth when their optimal growing conditions are met. Even when they are not growing and blooming, the bulbs are still there, readying themselves for the next season.
It's really a good idea to probe a little deeper into the subject of Gardening With Fall Bulbs. What you learn may give you the confidence you need to venture into new areas.
When planting fall bulbs, one of the most important considerations is finding a suitable location for them. Even though bulbs are very hardy, specific bulbs have their own requirements, and those special requirements must be met in order for the bulbs to thrive and show their best blooms. The soil is probably the most important consideration. Bulbs always do best in a well drained soil, and when bulbs fall to grow it is usually because they have rotted due to overly wet soil.
Most bulb varieties grow best in full sunlight, and it is also important to properly prepare the planting bed. Many experienced gardeners prefer to excavate the area to a depth of between 12 and 15 inches, and then lay down a layer of well aged manure or compost. After this layer is put down, the bulbs are spaced properly, then covered with either the original soil or with a good quality compost or potting soil.
While this method is a great way to plant bulbs, it is also a very time consuming one. If you are looking for a less item consuming method of planting fall bulbs, you can use a bulb planter to make three to four inch wide holes. To use a bulb planter, you simply use a twisting motion. After the proper depth has been reached, the bulb planter is removed and the bulb can be planted. Even though bulb planters are a real time saver for most gardeners, they do not perform well where the soil is rocky.
The most popular types of bulbs to plant in the fall season are tulips, daffodils and crocus. In addition to these well known varieties, however, there are a number of other choices as well, including hyacinths, iris and alliums. These types of bulbs are easy to grow and they bloom beautifully. The chionodoxa is another popular fall bulb, and even though its earliest blooms are only a few inches in height, as it matures its blooms become ever larger. In addition, chionodoxa are resistant to deer, so they are favored by gardeners whose gardens are often visited by these creatures.
When word gets around about your command of Gardening With Fall Bulbs facts, others who need to know about Gardening With Fall Bulbs will start to actively seek you out.

Would you like to fall in love? Are you single, dating, and looking for a long term relationship? There are six elements that have been identified by counselors, therapists, and researchers that determine if someone will fall in love with you. They are:
First impression
If you want someone to fall in love with you, it is important to remember that the first time they see you is most likely when they make an assessment of you. Some key areas to pay attention to are: your smile (whiten your teeth), your clothes (wear something flattering that fits and is a good color for you), your shoes (women spend a lot of time shopping for shoes, so guys need to be aware of finding attractive shoes), your hands (men like to see manicures; women do not like to see men with chewed nails). Further, you are remembered when you are friendly, a good listener, and can tell an amusing story.
Similar and complementary qualities
People fall in love when they have similar and complementary qualities. Contrary to popular belief, we are not attracted to someone who is too different from the way we are...at least in values. If you do not share similar values, you may find yourself bumping up against a non-negotiable requirement which will eventually break you up. We are very attracted to people who honor the same values and beliefs that we hold dear.
Equity
People fall in love and have more chance of staying in love if they share equality. Intelligence, attractiveness, education, and cultural backgrounds are some of the characteristics where we look to see if we are equals.
Ego
If you are a dating single looking for a lasting relationship, pay attention to how you validate others. People fall in love with someone who sees who they are and likes what they see. Don't be afraid to give and receive compliments.
Communication
People fall in love with you when you are a good listener, reflect back to the speaker what they have said, and show that you appreciate and hear what they communicate. People are just dying to be heard and understood.
Sex
The attitude a person has about sex is important to a lasting relationship. Men in particular will not stay in a marriage where there is no sex.
If you feel any confusion about any of the six principles above, consult with a counselor or coach until you are comfortable with how you feel about them. These are the elements that cause people to fall in love with you.

Have you ever wondered if what you know about flowers that bloom in the fall is accurate? Consider the following paragraphs and compare what you know to the latest info on flowers that bloom in the fall.
To many people, fall is the time of year when the gardening season is drawing to a close, and it is time to close the flower bed and prepare for winter. Even though most gardeners are ready to hang up their garden tools and get ready for the next season, gardeners can continue to enjoy the beauty of the fall season, since there are a number of beautiful flowers blooming all through the autumn of the year.
There are many fall bulbs available to the average gardener, and it is important to choose the right ones. When initially planting the bulbs, it is important to take care to choose the best location within the garden. It is important to choose a location where the delicate fall bulbs will not be overshadowed by larger plants or hidden in with the surrounding ground cover.
One advantage of fall bulbs, however, is that they are hardy. After they have been in the ground a few years, these bulbs will be able to take their rightful place and thrive in any garden setting.
One of the most frequently seen of all fall bulbs is the hardy cyclamens (Cyclamen Hederifolium). These bulbs are able to come back year after year, and they have been known to last for a decade or even more. In addition, the hardy cyclamen produces breathtaking blooms, and it is generally a very undemanding plant.
Other than a good quality soil, sufficient water and ample sunlight, the cyclamen needs little in order to bloom year after year. Each small cyclamen bloom has a soft pink petal that is complimented by an eye of darker pink. These small blooms are tiny version of the larger cyclamen that is often seen at Christmastime. In the home garden, the hardy cyclamen often blooms into November.
Most of this information comes straight from the flower and gardening pros. Careful reading to the end virtually guarantees that you'll know what they know.

Another popular autumn flower is the colchicum. These flowers usually bloom in the middle of September, and they are similar in appearance to crocuses but generally much larger. Most colchicums seen in the garden are hybrids of either C. Autumnale or C. Speciosum. There are some subtle differences between these two common varieties, and their blossoms come in shades of rose and violet. The sizes of colchicums vary from 10 to 12 inches. While these flowers can be used in many settings, they are a particularly beautiful way to accent a rock garden.
Autumn daffodils are another popular fall flower, and they can provide a beautiful touch of color for the garden. It is important to plant fall daffodils in a well drained flower bed and to provide them with plenty of sunlight. It is also important to avoid planting autumn daffodils in areas where moisture pools, as excessive moisture could damage the bulbs. Autumn daffodils often bloom at the same time as the colchicum, and the two can provide a striking color palette.
This article's coverage of the information is as complete as it can be today. But you should always leave open the possibility that future research could uncover new facts.
A fall down case or what is commonly referred to as a slip and fall accident occurs when a person falls through the fault or negligence of another.
* These cases can occur as a result of a great number of situations, some of which may include:
* A slippery surface;
* Improper or defective flooring;
* Objects that extend into the walking area;
* Poor lighting;
* Uneven surfaces; or
* Conditions where a hazard exists and no warnings are posted.
The laws of each state set forth certain principles that determine whether or not a property owner and/or tenant are liable. The status of the injured party might be important in determining liability. Was the injured party a business customer, a social guest, a letter carrier or a trespasser?
A general statement that might cover most slip and fall cases is that the owner or person in charge of the property must exercise reasonable care in the maintenance of their property and has a duty to warn visitors of any dangerous or defective conditions that are known or should be known by them.
It is very important, if you have been injured in a fall, to contact an experienced personal injury lawyer who has expertise in the handling and presentation of such cases. An experienced injury attorney might advise you to:
* Get the names of all of the witnesses to your fall;
* Get photographs of the fall site including the dangerous condition; and
* File a report about the fall.
An experienced injury lawyer might also hire a private investigator to uncover and develop the supporting evidence and testimony that would be necessary to advance your claim as well as be able to suggest a team of experts that can range from private investigators to doctors to economists to help develop your case.
In most cases, the law firm or attorneys will advance all costs and expenses of the case, including the hiring of experts, as they are incurred. Once the case is concluded, they would be reimbursed for their costs out of the recovery. In some states, even if there is no recovery, the client is still responsible for the costs and expenses of the case even though the client owes no legal fees. In other states, if there is no recovery, the client will owe nothing for the costs and expenses, which will be absorbed by the law firm or attorney.
If you have received personal injuries you should contact an experienced lawyer immediately.
Attorney Richard Hastings, for the past two and one half decades, has been helping injured clients and families collect millions of dollars in cases ranging from motor vehicle accidents to wrongful death, to medical malpractice. He is the founder of Selectcounsel, LLC, a free service that helps you find one of the best lawyers in your area and is the author of the books "How To Find A Great Lawyer" and "Understanding And Improving The Value Of Your Personal Injury Case."
Weddings are once in a lifetime events that you will surely remember for the rest of your life.
