Are you informed what is the job description at the moment you started your job? There are many candidates for a certain job that has no idea at all about this matter. Job description may be of less importance to the employer but having the idea of its importance is best for your job performance. Before doing the task you are assigned to do, you must really feed your mind of the job description you are involving yourself into. Most of the new hired employees specially freshly grad students will relentlessly indulge their self into the job without knowing exactly its job description. This matter is practically questionable, students are just so overwhelmed knowing that they qualified neglecting the importance of its description. There are new jobs that will no longer ask questions on how a person perform the job knowing that it is the same job as what the employee had before. The tendency now, is asking for the job description will no longer be applicable for the reason that it will only give negative impression. For other employers they encourage employees asking for the job description they are applying for. It only shows that a certain employee has an interest in knowing the particulars of his job and willing to know what will be his obligations. The following are reasons why job descriptions are significant for employees and even to those who are looking for jobs. * Avoid taking advantage * Things must be recorded- You may submit reports on your progress and performance established on your job description or else it will not be making sense at all specially to your employer. * Knowing ones responsibilities- This helps a person to know if he is capable of doing the task that will be assigned to him in the future.

Looking for a job can be a daunting experience. Many employers today want a resume. The days of going in to a place of employment and filling out an application are becoming a thing of the past. Many buildings are very secure and only admit people with appointments, If you are looking for a professional job, you will need to have a job resume. This can be intimidating to someone, particularly to a young person who may have just graduated high school or college and has never had a job resume. There are plenty of ways to build a job resume, even for the novice. There are many different software programs available for computers that can help anyone build a job resume. In addition, most word processing programs have templates that can be used to build a job resume. Building a job resume is not difficult. A person who has just completed high school or college and is looking for a job may never have had the opportunity to create a resume. They may be tempted to go to a professional resume service, which can charge them quite a bit of money. This can be a good option but not necessary. Building a good job resume is not difficult, particularly in the day and age of computers with spell check. If you are building your first job resume, the first thing you should do is decide which type of job you are seeking. If, for example, you are thinking about applying to be a teller at a bank, then you will need a job resume that reflects the skills that a teller needs to have. A bank teller needs to be able to count money, to deal with customers, to be able to balance their drawer and to be able to concentrate on what they are doing. In addition, a bank teller must look and appear professional. If you have recently completed high school and feel that you meet these qualifications, you may choose to build a job resume for a Teller job. At the top of your resume you will want to put down all of our personal contact information such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. You will also want to put down your employment objective, which is a Bank Teller. After this, you will want to list your education experience and anything within your educational experience that can help you attain the teller job. If you were good in math, you should put this down. Make sure you are accurate with your grade point average as they sometimes will ask for your high school transcripts. You should also put down any clubs or activities to which you belonged when you were in high school. One of the most important aspects of being a teller is honesty. An employer tends to think higher of a student who was involved in school activities and spent their time valuably than one who just got by in high school. Any prior employment experience, particularly if you have any cashier experience, should next be listed on your job resume. Cashier experience is very important for anyone who wants to be a teller, it shows that you already know how to handle money. Even if you do not have cashier experience, prior work experience is a plus as it indicates that you were able to be gainfully employed and able to hold a job for a length of time. For a job resume for an entry level job such as a bank teller, you can list assets at the bottom of the one page resume that you feel will help you gain the job. Be sure to mention the fact that you enjoy working with people, are detail oriented and are honest. You should also be sure to list any awards or accomplishments that you may have won during your lifetime. You will most likely be asked for references, but these should not be added to your job resume. You can put them on a separate sheet of paper. At least three references are needed and for a new high school graduate, the best references can be found with your former teachers, neighbors who have known you for a long time and any professional family friends. All of your references should be adults. Once you have completed your first job resume, be sure to save it. Each time you learn anything new at work or get a promotion, be sure to update your job resume. It is a good idea to continue to keep your job resume updated at all times.

Job essay writing is a form of writing that you need to master. This is because whenever you need to get yourself a job, you will have to put your Job essay writing skills to work first. You can say that it is your first step to getting a job. In addition to this, for many people, job essay writing is a part their daily working lives. Many employees have to write all sorts of papers that are considered to be job essays. Job essay writing is something that you should get used to because it will probably become part of your working life some day. This means that you should be well versed in the procedures of writing such essays. While a Job essay might refer to your entry essay or application essay when you apply at a company, it may also include writing regular assignments according to academic specifications. These paper specifications help to develop an essay with a professional look. This is helpful because your job essay could be presented to almost anyone who has business dealings with your company. Job essay introductions are most important for developing outstanding essays. It is here that you need to state clearly what your essay is about. The first few statements in your Job essay are supposed to catch your reader’s attention. Your thesis must be clear and simple. You could also use first-person writing here. However, you could use third-person writing for the rest of your essay, which will be in narrative form. Job essay writing techniques that are applied in the body of your essay basically discuss the claims made in your introduction. These arguments are discussed in the same order you have presented them in your introduction. In your Job essay body, you should place your discussion after stating each argument. Your organization in this part of your essay should include your opinions and ideas backed up by facts. Once you are done with presenting your ideas and evidence, you need to conclude your arguments. Your Job essay conclusion will help to determine the strength of your arguments. If your essay has been written well with your arguments backed up with facts, your thesis will prove to be true. Your concluding words will restate your thesis and prove that it is true. You should remember that your conclusion in a Job essay is as important as your introduction. This is because it has to equate your introduction. Your word selection in this part of your essay is important and you should give it careful thought. For good Job essay writing, you need considerable practice. This does not take long. You may struggle with the first few assignments. However, after the initial struggle, you are bound to fall into a pattern of writing that you can carry forward with you in your career. The skills you develop in Job essay writing will take you a long way, and the essays you write are bound to be recognized wherever you decide to work.

I think the idea of job titles originally came from the military centuries ago when it was necessary to delineate the chain of command, such as generals, colonels, captains, etc. In business you were simply known by your profession, such as accountant, attorney, baker, doctor, laborer, etc. But as big business flourished we started to add titles like the military to denote the administrative hierarchy, such as president, vice president, director, manager, supervisor, etc. Today it seems like everyone has to have some impressive job title and the more obnoxious, the better. The I.T. field alone has more than its share of cryptic titles, for example: New Metrics Analyst, Content Engineer, E-Mail Channel Specialist, Metamediary CEO, Chief Knowledge Officer, and Chief Internet Officer. I even ran into one entitled, "Webmistress Extraordinaire." I'm not too sure what these titles mean (I can only guess) but it sure seems that titles are becoming increasingly more important to people, probably because it massages our ego and own self worth. I had a friend who was an I.T. manager in New England who had an opening for a programmer at a very generous pay level with excellent benefits. Interestingly, he had one guy turn him down simply because he wanted the job title of "Software Engineer" as opposed to a mere "Programmer." Some companies cannot offer their employees large salaries and give fancy titles instead. I think banks probably have more vice presidents than just about any other institution. In fact, they have taken it to the sublime whereby they have Executive Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, Junior Vice Presidents, etc. I wonder where the janitor fits in this scheme? Frankly, I think most of these job titles are nothing more than malarkey, impressing nobody but themselves. I am finding those companies who emphasize teamwork are moving away from fancy job titles, even going as far as to omit job titles from business cards altogether. In other words, by having everyone on the same level playing field, ego problems are eliminated or at least minimized. Then again, there are those who will always need a big salary and job title. I am reminded of an I.T. Director who had a pressing project to be accomplished requiring him to hire many new people. Basically, he was told by his superiors to hire whoever he wanted, give them whatever they wanted, and whatever job title they desired; but when the project was over, fire them all. I guess the point is job titles have more value to you than it does to others. And if you cannot operate without being referred to as the "Head Raccoon" or some other obnoxious job title, then you've got some real problems pal.

Job fairs have been around for a fair amount of time. The concept is simple: groups of companies or industries get together to showcase the latest jobs on offer and people can come in with their resumes and apply. Job fairs benefit both the aspirant employees and the prospective employers. There are different types of job fairs. Some cater for a variety of business types while others are industry specific. E-Health Insider held their second Healthcare IT Careers Forum in London last month. The annual event was hosted at the Hotel Russel and showcased a variety of career opportunities in the health IT sector. Seminars were run throughout the day and leading recruitment specialists in the field gave advice on the industry. There were roughly 200 attendants this year and 10 exhibitors. The UK holds a number of Career Fairs for post-grad students looking to enter internships, full-time jobs or training. The Job-Fairs/”http://www.autumngradfair.co.uk/” target=_blank>Guardian Autumn Graduate Fair provides university students and recent graduates with opportunities to meet recruitment agencies. There are opportunities within a variety of industries, as well as gap year alternatives for those not wishing to rush into a full time job. The event is held annually every October, at the old Billingsgate. Entry is free of charge. Another Graduate Fair is the Job-Fairs/”http://www.al.com/news/huntsvilletimes/index.ssf?/base/news/1196590699253920.xml&coll=1” target=_blank>Science Fair, held at the Imperial College. The fair is aimed at final year students, graduates, postgraduates and pre-final year students. The next fair will be held on the 6th of February 2008. Participants in the fair will include recruitment agencies that specialise in the fields of science and technology. If science and technology isn’t your thing, attend the fair at the University of Leicester, which addresses Information about Management, Finance and Business. The event takes place in the Queen’s hall at the Student’s Union. The fair presents opportunities in business management and other financial and professional services. The fair lasts a full day and will next take place on the 27th of February 2008. If you are a student still studying and are looking to do internships during your vacation, there are career fairs that can help. The Vacation Work and Volunteering Fair will be held at the University of Bath on the 7th of February 2008. A variety of industries offer part time or short-term work for students looking to gain experience in their field of study. Job fairs have advantages that include allowing employees to introduce themselves to companies that they are interested in, rather than simply sending in a resume and hoping for the best. This can serve as a short interview, which allows the companies to gain extra insight into aspirant employees’ personalities.

I always thought that an extremely attractive and intelligent girl straight out of college would face a world of opportunity and happiness. But I was wrong. Life is full of surprises and some of them can be painful. I hate to be cynical but caution is the best defense against a world full of horny men. Not all men are bad, but one must always be on the alert for people that will use you and throw you away like an old rag doll. I am wiser now, but it took a bad experience to gain that wisdom . I was one of ten girls that were interviewed for what sounded like a great job. I waited for my next in a large lawyer's office that was beautifully decorated. The owner of the firm interviewed me and said he would let me know in a few days if I had the job. As soon as I got home the phone rang. It was the guy that interviewed me; he said that if I was available I could come in the next day. I said I was, and that's how I started my first job. My boss treated me like a princess. He took me out to lunch many times, and even left flowers on my desk. He often closed the office down and took me to ball games or long drives in the country. I never met such a great guy before; I loved every moment with him. It didn't take long before I was insanely in love. The next few months were full of happy days and nights. I couldn't get to my job fast enough. One morning he called me into the office and told me that his business had gone bad and he might have to close down. He also said he had to let me go. I asked him if he would still see me, and he told me that he could no longer focus on a romantic relationship. I burst out in tears and left the office without saying goodbye. A few weeks later I returned to the office to pickup my personal belongings. And there he was with his arms around an attractive new secretary. I turned around and ran out of the office never looking back I will always remember how he tricked me . Extremely attractive women have to be constantly on guard against a world full of horny men. They will do and say anything in order to get you into a bedroom. I don't mind being in a bedroom with someone that fully cares for me, but I hate men that are liars. I am a romantic woman and date many men, but I never will fall in love again-----thanks to the experience I got from my first job.

Interviewer job can be one of the widest range of career that one can opt for because no matter whether a person is a undergraduate or a graduate in English or in Political Science, he can always take his career as an Interviewer. Some news channels says that anyone who has a good command in English, Communication skills and General Knowledge can opt for the job of an interviewer. Basically there is no formal way to be an interviewer but it is always best to have a degree in Communication so as to take up this job more confidently. Communication skill is the most vibrant concern that an interviewer should have along with general knowledge, and attitude. One must look firm in his attitude so that he himself does not get confused while interviewing another person. In our daily life we can see people taking interviews in televisions. We sit with excitement to the tricky questions that are being asked to them by an interviewer. This credit must go to the interviewer who dares to ask such tricky as well as sometimes frustrating questions to great leaders as well as to political members. If an interviewer is well graded in Human Resource or in marketing skills then he can also be called upon by some top ranking Business Companies for interviewing employees who seek jobs. While applying for colleges and Universities we have to go through an Interview procedure where we face some tough interviewers who comes up with a lot of general knowledge questions as well as some aptitude questions. This signifies that to be an interviewer, one must have certain qualities which can make him a different individual in a huge crowd. An interviewer can start his career as a newspaper reporter or as a newspaper interviewer. After gaining experience, he can link up as a television interviewer with different channels available today. His salary can range anywhere between $23,670 to $33,114 per year depending upon his work and experience. Interviewers need not worry about any jobs as they always have a full time or a part time job in hand. Colleges, Universities are always in search of interviewers every year. Interviewers can also write books on various topics related to ‘passing interviews’ etc. An interviewer is always at constant work in their life even if they turn up 65. Thus we may say that it’s a living career for the students and students should come up for this career in large numbers.

Job Security?! huh, exactly what is it?! Being in a career only means that we have a control for it. We should be considering ourselves independent and consider your boss your client. Now see how will it feel... With this attitude we will be able to take care of our customers very well and must continuously maintain competitiveness in the market. Hear the sound of a new attitude towards work. My employer is my customer. Everyday at work and getting the work done before deadlines is reliability and that is me. I look and feel good that's why others is loving me. I am Accurate, persuasive and energetic communicator. I posses open mindedness and assertiveness. I work with honesty and can work with less supervision. I am always focus with work. I tend to be cooperative. I solve problems instead of making one. I take criticism as constructive to improve myself. I am organize and can plan well the tasks. Taking care of our career... I should always be updated about the market's issue. I should always be knowledgeable about the latest software and make use of the latest technologies. I will always stay connected. Prepare yourself to adopt everything and be somebody. We should always stay positive in everything that we do. That just say it but do it. Allow yourself to be positive. It's all in the mind. Feel positive and everything will positively come to you. Make the best of your job-philosophy/”http://jobs.ozfreeonline.com” target=_blank>job. Improve yourself through your career, it will help you grow as a person. Consider every day in your work is a learning. Don't waste your time going to work and just being there doing nothing otherwise you are only fooling yourself. Believe that you can just almost everything. Make something fruitful for yourself and you will see that it's truly rewarding. Just like what Francis Thompson said: “Nothing begins, Nothing ends which was not paid by moan. For we are borne in others pain and perish on our own.”

Video games industry is the latest cash cow in the world of business. This industry is making more than $10 billion and that's more business than what Hollywood is presently doing. With phenomenal sales records being the order of the day, the industry is ever on the look out for fresh talent. To be a typical video game professional one should have the skills of an artist and present day computer skills. Generally speaking, the following are the broad categories of jobs that are available in the industry: Audio: The field of audio is relatively new to the video game industry. This part has so far been neglected and the industry bigwigs are now slowly recognizing the importance of a good audio to make a video successful. So, Sound Engineers and Composers who can strike the right chord are in demand. Designers: Designers are the bread and butter of this industry. Depending on the specialization, people are designated as - Game Designer, Lead Designer, Level Designer, and Screenwriters. These are those people who bring a game alive. Production: Being a Producer requires multi tasking, analytical skills and decision making under stress. It’s a difficult role and further categorized as Project manager, Associate Producer, Game Tester & Lead Tester. To bring out a game successfully, Production team works come hell or high water. Programming: It’s natural for any one who thinks of a job in the games industry to go in for software skills. Yes, Programming is the core of the games and here too specialization is the name of the game. Jobs begin with being a Junior Programmer, Lead Programmer, Tools Programmer, Graphics Programmer, Artificial Intelligence Programmer and Multiplayer Networking Programmer. Visual Arts: This is the niche field for the Artists who have the traditional hand skills and have mastered or specialized in the various animation software. Depending on the skill sets and experience, jobs are designated as Intern Artist, 3D Model Builder, 2D Conceptual Artist, 2D Texture Artist, 3D Cut Scene Artist, 3D Character Builder, 3D Character Animator, Level Builder, Art Director and Art Technician. Miscellaneous: This means the “support staff”- people who handle accounts, administration, marketing, public relations and system administrators are always in demand as no business can ever be run without these people. Skills are more valid in this field than degrees. Most of the companies don't insist on a degree if the job seeker proves his skills. Skills are not acquired over night. It’s only with repetitive and continuous practice that one gets to master the crafts. So, all the technically qualified people should hone their skills if they ever dream of getting recognition for their skills. Those gifted and skilled people are apt to find instant world wide recognition for their work here in this industry than anywhere else. Just as one gets instant recognition for a good work, the pay too is extremely good in this field. For all kinds of jobs, the average pay for a person with an experience of 1-2 years is $50,000 and going up to almost $ 300,000 for the specialists. Yes, the glamorous video games industry is keeping its doors open, welcoming all those young whiz kids.

Writing Custom /a> . Having completed a number of written essays custom himself, Timothy uses his knowledge to provide individualized customer support to students, who order custom writing writing services. ">Surely, if some violation will be found in the written agreement, Harry Young may inquire the complete exposure of his privileges as a member of staff of this corporation. Written agreement should contain the following items, guarantied by the law: hours of work, his salary, information about grievance and disciplinary rules, entitlements and holiday. Harry Young should discover whether his children have right to obtain medical insurance according to the law. Harry Young supposes to get a part-time job for the next two years. Rights of part-time employees are often violated, because they are not regular staff. This is the most important motive why Harry Young should learn all his privileges and everyday responsibilities rather carefully. For instance, part-time member of staff has the right to obtain the salary and holiday privilege at the same rate as other employees of this company; the part-time worker can have the equal break or holiday plan as full-time employees. Moreover, Harry Young, being not full-time employee, should be given with the equivalent opportunity of the managerial promotion. And if Harry he requests some training for such promotion, he should be given it completely. Timothy Anderson is the head of customer care center at Standoutessay.com, Writing Custom. Do You Know the Core Issues to Job Dissatisfaction? Discover the Key to Your Experiencing Dreams... With any dissatisfaction the first step is resolve the conflict between head and heart. Emotion is a guiding signal. When apathy, dissatisfaction and depression set in then it is a sign something must change. This something could be in the heart or in the head (a change of perspective). Apathy is stagnation, or lack of movement, change by its very meaning indicates movement and so the stagnation is broken. We all need to feel important and that we are contributing in a worthwhile way. You have one of two choices, either find something to engage yourself in at work, or to change your career path. For most people the second option is what is really needed, though they fear it the most. They have taken a job that offers 'financial security' instead of following their dreams; and so imagination, inspiration and motivation all atrophy. However these dreams do not truly die and can be reawakened with the correct guidance. By clearing the fears and ‘what ifs’ around change, and in this case specifically the change of career, then his head will no longer try to suppress his heart. He is one step closer to resolving the inner conflict that causes the tension that is experienced, and reflected, in all areas of his life. By using Energy Psychology Techniques such as EFT these fears can be released completely, often in one short session. There are often a collection of fears and each specific fear can be identified and treated. Examples include the fear of not having enough money should things go wrong; the fear of not being good enough in the new career; the fear of being successful and the responsibility that would bring. It is these fears that cloud or block our motivation or desire to change. Many people go to motivational seminars or listen to motivational audio's to find the inspiration to change their lives. The only problem is they are feeding from someone else’s motivational energy. Shortly after the seminar this energy fades and they are back where they started. The word motivation is derived from the word motive meaning ‘the reason why’. It is essential if we want to have lasting motivation we discover our own personal reason why, our own purpose. When we have purpose we feel important and so our lives have meaning again. Friedrich Nietzsche once observed ‘He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how’. To achieve maximum motivation and to discover life purpose there is a very simple formula: Max Motivation = Passion + Purpose. Otherwise stated as find what you most enjoy in life, give it a purpose and you will find motivation to achieve it. Life is on average only 4000 weeks long. With only 7 days in every week you do not have time to sit waiting for life to get better. You create your own life through the choices you make. These choices are restricted by the fears and limiting beliefs you have established over a life time, many having come directly from your parents or society. Every excuse you have for life not being different is just that, an excuse. It is a reflection of those fears and beliefs that have limited you so long. Don’t waste another day, learn some techniques such as EFT that will clear those fears and limiting beliefs and set you free to live your life with passion and purpose. This new sense of joy for life will be reflected in your working life, your personal life and your overall experience of life. A final thought from Howard Wight, ‘If you are ultimately going to do something important that will make a real difference.... do it now’. Choosing between a between a government job and a job in the private sector may be a bit difficult. They may both invariably fall broadly into the same category of career. But the significance of the matter arises when candidates are faced with this question at the beginning of their careers. What Influences Candidates Towards Government Jobs? Traditionally, government jobs have been considered safe with no or little threat of job loss, especially when job opportunities in the private sector were not. There was a time when governments, both Federal and State, were the biggest employers. Then, job seekers and believed that bagging a government job made their or their children's lives more secure. Nevertheless, Government jobs have traditionally offered many perks which private jobs do not. Here are a few job benefits and reasons for choosing a government job over a one in the private sector. 1. Pension; this is one of the attractions. 2. Financial services, such as mortgages at a low rate of interest offered by the respective department where the employee is working. 3. Promotions and pay raises offer immediate social recognition/status to employees at specified intervals. 4. Higher positions often entail unmatched administrative power. 5. Relatively stronger immunity against job loss. 6. Some governments promise employment to relatives of employees. 7. More relaxed, congenial working style. Are There Any Negatives To Government Jobs? Of course, there are a few downsides to government positions, too. Government jobs offer a low starting salary, in comparison to private employers. Salary hikes are sometimes meager as they are regulated by standardization. Career growth opportunities can be few and far between, as promotions are standardized and often based on seniority. Another aspect of government jobs is that they may be perceived as less challenging. A common complaint about government jobs is that the routine and mundane nature of the job often leads to complacency. Private Sector Jobs: Why Should You Choose Them The private sector offers the maximum number of employment opportunities. This is true for any developing or developed country. Private sector jobs, even though they do not guarantee job security, offer high career potential growth opportunities. This is by far the biggest reason for their popularity along with the huge demand that they create. Job seekers often opt for private sector employment because of their fast paced and modern recruitment procedures. In the private sector, true talent is recognized and sought out by various selection techniques. 1. Selection procedure provides an even playing field for all applicants. This is unlike the government sector, where selection is often made based on seniority or knowing someone in a particular agency. 2. True talent is unearthed before the selection through interviews and brainstorming. 3. Lucrative starting salaries and high growth potential through what is called "merit based" promotions and salary hikes. 4. Fast paced working style and environments give employees job satisfaction and eventually fosters loyalty and dedication. There are downsides to private sector jobs as well, such as long working hours-depriving employees of a meaningful family life. Mental stress and early aging are said to be byproducts of private sector jobs.

Analyst discovers that today s employee will no longer have the same lifetime job security as it was some year back! They are more frequently moving between jobs. Why this inclined behaviour towards doing jobs for shorter periods? Is this because of increased and refined competition? Technology advancement and its penetration in every vocation?Employees do face many concerns and thus look forward when screening a job offer. It could be the bundle of questions in their mind; 1. Am I going to a good place to work? 2. Are there chances for growth? 3. Is the remuneration fair? 4. What other good benefits? A candidate should design a measuring tool for evaluating job offers, whether its a career inception or intending a career switch. Information about the company can help you to make a decision whether it is a desirable place for work. Other factors to think contain the company routine work, economic condition, age, size & location. You generally gather this type of info via different resources internet, annual reports released by stock exchange or word of mouth . Though, the more you excavate facts about the job, before accepting or rejecting the offer, the chances will be high that you are going for the right choice. Other common factors; * Include job physical location * If the job is another part of the country other then your native. If yes * Then you need to think the price of everything from housing to transportation * Your part of responsibilities * Working hours * Production & sales targets * Salary Package A good job offers with opportunities to learn new skills not only increase your earnings but also rise to promotions. A few or be short of openings can diminish interest in the job and result in irritation and dullness. The truth is that if you at anytime feel if you are dissatisfied with your job, you can change jobs more easily. Making career changes later in life is not as difficult as it once was. In fact, it might be beneficial for you to change jobs.
