A huge amount of Baby Boomers, said to be 78 million according to the U.S. Census Bureau, are now starting to reach retirement age, many without a reasonable level of retirement income.

These are people born between the years of 1946 and 1964. That makes Baby Boomers the largest generation in today's workforce. As they start to retire over the next ten years, they will be faced with the huge task of maintaining their present lifestyle. Method Four: Thief in the Night. I liked the name of this method. Basically, it shows you how to steal from the super affiliates. Not literally, of course! By steal, I mean, to locate a well promoted product using the thief in the night technique. Many affiliates promoting a product. What you then do is copy what they are doiing, only do it better. Sounds simple, and it is. Yet very effective. Think about what that means. You zero in on a good, highly competitive product, study what the other affiliates are doing, copy and improve. This was my favorite part of the book.

Method Five: Copy the Best Part 2. If you have read Adwords Miracle, you will recognise the name. It is an extension upon that technique.

Method Six: The Opportunist. This tactic deals with locating hot, on the rise products. Choosing the right product at the right time, is very important with affiliate marketing.

Finally there is a section called, Project X Advanced Tricks. Covering such things as link cloaking and tracking affiliate sales. If you don't do either of these methods, and you are currently involved with affiliate marketing, you really do need to.

Overall, Affiliate Project X was well worth the time spent. It covered several techniques I wasn't personally aware of. I would have liked to see videos as an addition to the techniques covered in the book. However I just heard there will be videos coming in the weeks after the inital launch. Also, a forum for all owners to get together and discuss the book and affiliate marketing would also have been advantageous.

My opinion is if you are doing any affiliate marketing, you will likely be at a disadvantage when competing with owners of Affiliate Project X

As with his first product, the author Chris has written Affiliate Project X for a very targeted audience. This book was written for affiliates who have been playing the game and losing (much as Chris himself was just a few months back). They’ve bought e-books and courses, followed all the steps to a tee, and haven’t made a red cent. This is because they are largely mis-informed about everything. The super affiliates, after all, have been keeping their best methods to themselves, and it’s costing many people a lot of money. Chris calls Affiliate Project X his “getting even” product. He’s mad about all those months he spent chasing red herrings due to mis-information from the gurus, and now that he’s had a chance to mingle with them and steal their techniques, he’s written Affiliate Project X.

Affiliate Project X is a well-written e-book that offers up six methods that can really get your sales going strong. It's not a rehash of stuff that you can learn by spending time in forums. It's not an e-book that's been "inflated" by a lot of white space. There are 71 pages, and each page is packed with information. Each method is laid out in a step-by-step manner, so you have a blueprint to follow. The methods are adaptable to different products, and you do not have to become an Adwords/PPC expert to reap the full benefits. The Advanced Trick section of Affiliate Project X is kind of a bonus information section. It also points you to a free way of implementing one of the advanced tricks, saving you money you otherwise would have spent to get the official software product.

I'd say that the least adaptable method is 'The Opportunist', but the basis of the idea is usable - for example, one thought for using this technique to market physical products is to get to know your affiliate manager. Having said that, though, I should emphasize that Affiliate Project X is focused on selling info-products. The methods outlined work best for info-products, and if you're not currently selling very many Clickbank products, you will come away from Affiliate Project X with lots of ideas for incorporating Clickbank products into your affiliate product portfolio.

Affiliate Project X won't take you through the nuances of using these tactics to market non info-products - you'll have to come up with these on your own. But if you're currently an affiliate marketer for physical products, and you know your market and your particular niches, then you should be able to tailor most of these methods to suit your particular niche.

You can definitely use other non PPC methods of getting traffic and still implement these same methods. And Chris also outlines two non-PPC methods for getting traffic in Affiliate Project x. One is the 'Workhorse' method. The other is one of his tips in the Advanced Tricks section.

Will Affiliate Project X give me that six-figure annual income? As with everything else, you have to take action once you've learned the methods set out in Affiliate Project X. But I'd say that the methods outlined in Affiliate Project X are very powerful methods that do have the potential of increasing the income from your affiliate marketing efforts. At the very least, if you commit to using some of these methods, you should see an increase in your sales. But you do need to know the basics or be willing to learn the basics of affiliate marketing, and you do need to take action and commit to implementing what you've learned.

And if you've ever wondered how to pick a Clickbank product to promote, you'll enjoy the product selection techniques that are outlined in Methods 4 to 6 of Affiliate Project X. Picking the right product to promote plays a huge role in affiliate marketing, and I would say these techniques alone are worth the price of the book.

For the frugal affiliate marketer, there’s “The Workhorse.” This method is slow, time-consuming, and boring, but it is free. Basically, it’s a variation on article marketing, but unlike traditional article marketing, this is not an SEO technique. This is an affiliate marketing technique, and there are some key differences between it and the traditional SEO version.

“Thief in the Night”, this is a great technique for finding out what products are making other affiliates lots of money, so you can copy them and even out do them. I have the feeling, though, that when this technique becomes popular, it won’t be so effective, so you’d do well to read about it now.

Affiliate Project X also includes some updated versions of techniques from AdWords Miracle (authors other e-book) the “Rising Star” and “Copy the Best” methods, plus an advanced techniques section that covers things like link cloaking and tracking your affiliate commissions (in my opinion essential for long-term success as an affiliate).

Another small thing, one of the techniques in Affiliate Project X requires you to have Keyword Elite. Now, Keyword Elite is an excellent program, one that I use myself, and a good investment for any Internet marketer, but this is another case of buying a product only to be told to buy another one. I don’t like that. To be fair, though, this technique can be used, albeit in a limited way, without Keyword Elite. But it would be such a time consuming process, most people wouldn’t bother, for newbie's though this process will teach them 'hands on' keyword research.

In the end, though, these techniques are sure to open some eyes (and annoy the super affiliates from which they were “borrowed”). Will it blow the lid off the whole thing? I don’t know, but it certainly seems to be living up to the hype so far, Affiliate Project X has broken the ClickBank record for sales in a day, and everyone and his mother are promoting the thing. More importantly though, will it make you any money? If you follow Chris’s step-by-step instructions for even one of these methods, I’d say the chances are good.

So, we all know its possible to make good money from an email list by promoting affiliate products. Many have followed the list building principles taught by various gurus and have their own list. But what if youre putting a lot of effort into your list and getting very little monetary rewards?

Currently, the affiliate Project X guide sells for $97 (this price may go up at any time according to Chris. Its already gone from $77 to $97). Its definitely not cheap and is what I consider an investment purchase. You have to weigh in your mind how much value you think youll get out of this guide compared to the money coming out of your pocket. This guide isnt going to be for everyone, but if you want it and cant afford it right now--my advice is to put a little something aside each week until you can afford it. After reading the Project X guide, I feel it is worth every penny--believe me, I do not take spending this kind of money lightly, especially since Im not a big earner--yet.

SUMMING IT UP

Overall, Im extremely satisfied with the information I received in the affiliate Project X guide. There is no filler in this book. Trust me, you will drink up every word as if it were an oasis in a dry desert. Theres nothing like having someone on our side for a change. Someone willing to spilll the secrets of the big earners instead of quietly hogging all the prized information for themselves. Affiliate marketing has turned a corner, and a lot of us will reap the benefits of this new era.
