It's been mentioned that you can't realize where you are or what is the place of your destination until you guess from what place you came. One can rest contentedly and impatiently about the year two thousand twelve or more as the pendulum is picking up pace starting to intersect into a new epoch. We may call it the epoch of clarification, or call us homo clarified. People are on their way back. Then the question arises as for what was our starting point. We're soul beings, pure awareness. We all originated from the core point – awareness. It's hard to imagine our true individuality with the idea that we now possess, still we are starting to our electromagnetic power fields. In fact, we are those fields. One shouldn’t turn into extremely bound up in the essence of it. But one must get a grasp on the detail that we're sapiens and possess a hereditary construction that is progressing. It should be mentioned that there are many groups of people having different ideas; still I'm out of that play as much as the self-dishonesty indicator is working. Some time ago we were with the symbolic father at one edge of the pendulum, our basic form was light. When we went down into animal bodies that we at present have, that radiance became very faint. Nevertheless, there is a direct light within that by no means goes out. The direct light had to fight against our characters for playing-listening instance. Still, we've now progressed to a stage in which we are, together as occupants of this globe, starting to increase momentum in letting our light, or awareness, shine. Amid now and the year two thousand twelve we're going to observe an exponential enlarge in personal and collective awareness. Our awareness pendulum has gone past our buck state of human progress and we're now starting back home. Water tries to find its own level and souls look for their own basis, no matter whether we address that basis as awareness, idol, initiator, or father. Jason Holl is employed with one of the well-known and well established writing service. She is certainly willing to share tips and give a good piece of advice on how to accomplish annotated bibliography and law admission essay to students.

Did you ever wonder how it would be if something would change or have changed, what would happen if that particular thing didn't happen? Well, changing something isn't so easy but trying to is a great effort! You, me and allot of people think that our opinion isn't relevant, that nobody cares about what we think and what should change to make the World a better place. But, there is a thing called a collective awareness where if we act or think together bigger and greater goals can be accomplished in making the World a better place. Where to start, you ask? Well first thing to accomplish something is awareness. The people have to be aware about the problems and what will happen if they are not solved. So to do that you have to act like me...Write! Write stories, articles about the Past, Future, Present everything to make the people start thinking about what kind of place will we pass on to our children. Are we doing the right thing now, I don't think we are yet because there are allot of problems and new ones are still coming: pollution, global warming and allot more. Allot of people do not care about the problems if they are living a nice life but when a problem comes at there home they start thinking different. So we have to make those people see and solve the problem before it comes. And that is why a story and article can help. Where to give articles written by you? Well I have made a website called Life Statue – World Community Center where you can send your articles and let the rest of the World see them so you can awaken the collective awareness and maybe you can be the one help save the World. We are all pelted with problems. Honestly, it should not even bother or even hinder us to becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you cannot teach an old dog new tricks or can you? If you are like me, there are so many things you want to do with your life and so little time to do it, even going about your normal daily tasks during the day, seems to take forever. Therefore, I would ask you to delve deep inside yourself to find the answer. Concentrate and take notice of your Inner Awareness Inner-Awareness, what does it mean? Well, lets us look at each word individually. Inner means inside, within the essence of our being on some spiritual level. Awareness means one's perception of reality from one plane or dimension to another. Therefore, it could be said that Inner-Awareness is an attitude, an understanding of ones inner consciousness. An understanding of how one perceives themselves. A true understanding of how you really feel and why you act in the way you do. Every person in this world has access to their inner awareness. We all live in a very materialistic world that is run by logic and scientific achievement and discovery. For something to be real, you must perceive it with your physical senses. If you re inner awareness has not been developed and fine-tuned, then you may find many activities and energies around have no conscious awareness for you, so you will be out of touch with your inner self. Your goal is to create a balance between the physical senses and the inner senses. There are two energies muscular and feminine. A masculine energy is more aggressive, a logical action to take, which results in a creation of something in the physical world. A feminine energy is a more flowing and spontaneous energy that relates more to the spiritual essence of our being. Inherent within all beings are both energies. When they work together, they create a harmonic balance. A key element in developing your inner awareness s is to trust an initial response, answer or insight you receive from yourself. For example, how many times have you had an intuitive insight to do something, which made no logical sense at all? Most of us at sometime, have let our logical mind talk us out of things and then we could kick ourselves later because we missed an opportunity. If your mind is busy, and you are thinking about all the problems in your life and worrying about tomorrow, you could miss some important information or insights that will help you in life. Another thing you may possibly do is not trust your inner self when making a key decision in your life, but you will trust someone else to make the decision for you. When you use your inner awareness, you receive guidance through your life, and who knows you best? You do, so why not take notice of it. To receive inner guidance is to trust in yourself and to be open to the incredible and infinite possibilities of the adventures of life that present themselves to you in your lifetime. I believe when you are spontaneous, you allow your inner awareness to come out and play, that is when you are truly channeling from within. You can tell when you are around a person in this state because they make you feel happy inside. In today s society we are taught that it is not proper to be spontaneous, that you should act in a certain way and follow certain rules. I believe this subconscious programming is detrimental to your inner health. I feel you should go with your creative flow and be who you are and not worry if other people accept you or not. No matter how nice you try to be or courteous with others there will always be someone who will be disturbed about who you are, and the way you are behaving. This is not a bad thing in itself, because when you see something in another you do not like, that person is mirroring something inside of you that you wish to change. So lighten up, try to be yourself. With so much happening around us there seems to be no room for even considering the possibility of a light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. Moreover, if it is a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride, and see what makes the world go round! If history has taught us one thing, it is the life that we have gone through. There's always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and whatnot. It doesn't take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we'll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented with. Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you will be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing. What motivates you? It's an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one of the many may be the hardest part. It's not as if you can't have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that's it. Just try it piece by piece. So, what really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but to realize that attaining something that may seem very difficult is already giving up before you even start that journey. Always remember, that understand and believing in your own self-awareness is not just about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, but it's something that you really want to believe in and trust.

A company can expect information security awareness from their employees if they teach it to them. They need to create a plan for the information security training program. Developing these security awareness training is the task of the management. They have to decide if they ask help from an information security consultant or not. There are experts who has complex security awareness training programs, moduls, films, security awareness posters. It depends on the company if it is worth for them to buy these products or not. www.infosecuritylab.com

Phonological awareness shows beginning readers how to divide language orally into smaller units. This ability is developed through an understanding of rhyme, sentence and syllable segmentation as well as onset and rimes. Phonological awareness is the first skill which students need to learn even before phonemic awareness is developed. Phonological awareness should be taught in kindergarten. Like phonemic awareness, phonological awareness consists of listening activities. Phonological awareness should follow a Continuum. Rhymes should be taught first so that students learn how to match the ending sounds of words. Rhyming is usually one of the most fun phonological awareness skills to teach. That is because rhymes contain rhythm so they have a musical sound, that children love. Most children master the identification of rhymes very quickly. Sentence Segmentation should be taught next, again this activity is fun for most children and they tend to catch on quickly. Thirdly, syllables are taught, children are asked to listen and then separate words into parts and then put them back together. Finally onsets and rimes are introduced. These skills are taught in a particular order so that confusion is minimized, once these skills are taught children are ready to be introduced to phonemic awareness skills. Below I will break down the phonological awareness continuum into greater detail and give a few examples. Rhyming--Remember those nursery rhymes you learnt as a child. They were fun but you were also learning. You were learning that words could sound alike and have rhythm. The learning of rhymes is one of the core skills of phonological awareness. Besides nursery rhymes you can find poems and books with rhymes and introduce them to children. Let them listen and clap to words that rhyme. You can also call a group of words together, for example: mat, hen, fat and have children tell you which two words rhyme. Listening is the key ingredient in phonological awareness by listening and responding children are learning how to divide the language into small units. Sentence Segmentation--This is where children learn that a sentence is made up of different words. For example: "I have a big red book." Students should be aware that the sentence is made up of six different words: I/have/a/big/red/book/ You can have students clap, count or even march to the number of words in the sentence as they say it. Syllabication--Here children are taught that one word can have several parts. For example: din/ner rab/bit. Allow children to listen as you call a word and then repeat the word and clap out the different parts of a word. Onsets and Rimes--The onset of a word is the initial consonant sound of the word, for example: 'bag' in this case 'b' is the onset. The rime is the part with the vowel /ag/. An initial consonant blend may also be termed an onset. For example, in the word 'black' /bl/ would be the onset and /ack/ the rime. You should have children blend and then separate onsets and rimes. Here's an example: /c/ /ap/( said separately) cap(said together).

"The moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself." - Henry Miller Words thrill me. I find language magnificent. Linguistics is an incredible world. I've been studying persuasion for over thirty years. If I think about it though, I've been studying the language of persuasion. Aside from mirroring and matching, and physical anchors, persuasion is about words. The Awareness pattern is essential in your persuasion toolbox. Once you hear and understand it, you'll kick yourself and think, 'Why didn't I use this sooner?' Aldous Huxley said: "Every individual is at one the beneficiary and the victim of the linguistic tradition into which he has been born - the beneficiary inasmuch as language gives access to the accumulated records of other people's experience, the victim in so far as it confirms him in the belief that reduced awareness is the only awareness and as it bedevils his sense of reality, so that he is all too apt to take his concepts for data, his words for actual things." This is a phenomenal example of how language can expand our options or reduce our awareness. When we study persuasion--human nature--we maximize the benefit of our linguistic traditions. This is one of my favorite aspects of persuasion and linguistics. And this pattern in particular is one of the most powerful patterns, period. The three words I use most often in this category are: aware, realize and experience. By saying one of these words, you are making the person you are persuading begin the mental process. In essence, you're enticing them to become 'aware', you're enticing them to 'realize' and you're enticing them to 'experience'. These words are important because everything that is said after the word is presupposed to be true. They don't force action (as in "will you do" something) but instead ("are you aware of") and this has a much more powerful impact in persuasion. As you gain skill in being able to use these words powerfully, you might think that someone may respond to the question, "Are you aware of?" by saying "No". I assure you, when done properly, this does not happen. And if it ever did, all you need to say is, "Not yet, huh?" Here's an example: "The more you begin to construct your mind in the ways you'll be using these patterns, the more you'll begin realizing the explosively profitable techniques you are learning. Are you starting to experience the growing awareness of what being involved in with my program brings you as I tell you about it and as you go through it?" Is the awareness of the power of this pattern starting to sink in? I'm not asking you if these patterns have power, I'm presupposing they do. I'm asking, "Are you aware of the power?" This presupposes that if you're not aware, that you need to be. If you are aware, you will state that you are. If you're getting excited about this information, you're ready to learn more about how language can expand your universe. There are several of these patterns that will work for you to persuade the affluent. All you have to do is to take action, learn them, and implement them.

Statistics tell us that in the U.S. alone, the average person is exposed to 3,500 ad impressions per day. I’m not talking about the average Internet user seeing banner impressions... I’m talking about the typical citizen seeing billboards, TV commercials, email promos, branded coffee mugs, etc. And most of the ad impressions we see on a daily basis are not direct response promotions. A billboard on the highway is not necessarily placed to make us stop right then and there and purchase a new couch, nor is a ballpoint pen with the name of a local bank likely to make us rush over to the nearest branch and open an account spur of the moment. But all of these impressions do take their toll on our subconscious minds. Think of the first names that come to mind when I mention: - Soda - Fast Food - Software I’m willing to bet 90% of the folks who read this article came up with the same three companies. The other 10% are just flakes or people who are trying to be difficult. ;o) So there’s the proof that branding works. And did you know the company or trademark with the highest brand awareness percentage always outsells the second and third ranked companies combined? Pretty amazing isn’t it? In a national survey 99.2% of the participants said they are more likely to buy a product or service based on the first company or trademark that comes to mind when it’s time to purchase! Effective branding increases profits, period. And you don’t have to be a mega-corporation to leverage this knowledge. Get yourself a logo and place it on all your business cards, web banners, etc. and then get these tools in front of as many people as possible. Talk to your local broadcasting company about radio ad packages. Have a T-shirt shop print you up a few hundred shirts with your logo and then give the shirts away to high school kids at a homecoming event. These are just a few suggestions right off the top of my head. The idea is to get your logo and/or your name out there and keep it out there. Stay consistent! Once people see you or hear about you enough they begin to associate you with the product or service you offer, and this will greatly increase your chances of being called on when these people are ready to buy a product in your field.

Success is a very hot topic in our society today. Each person has their own definition of the word, so I will not define it for you. However, I will state two things. First, remind you that YOU are the one that gets to decide what success means. Second, is what I've chosen to take into account for defining success. For me success is determined by the following four factors, not in any specific order. (a) Getting the results that I am looking to achieve (b) using a process that is balanced and works for me (c) while nurturing relationships in the process (d) and knowing that what I am creating is of service to myself and others. Yes, it must be a win-win for everyone involved for me to consider it a success. In either case, in order to create success there is a very specific process. If you are not getting the results you want, you must first become clear and aware of what you want to change, make different, or make better whether in life or in your business. Without becoming aware about what you want to change, it is nearly impossible to make any kind of change permanent or even long-term. So the key first step is becoming clear about what you want and aware of what needs to change. This way you can actually begin to take steps to make that change. Once you've become aware and clear of what you want, then you can begin the journey of making the changes and creating your success. Though it is possible to gain this awareness on your own it is not the easiest. Notice that every great figure has always had someone there to support them in their journey to success. This is true in sports, religion, politics, and every other area of life. Often they are supported by mentors, coaches, and others who are able to see what the individual is not able to see. Think of Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, any President, they all have a team of people supporting them in creating their success. - So, what steps can you take to support your success?
- Get a coach or a mentor to support you.
- Be willing to be honest with yourself and see those things that are not supporting you.
- Have the courage and commitment to make a change.
- Nurture your relationships in the process.
- Keep looking for the process that will work with and for you.
- Be of service, focus on supporting the success of others & you will nurture your success in the process.
- Keep connecting to resources that will help you gain knowledge and apply that knowledge.
Take any or all of these steps and begin take your current success to the next level. A free resource for additional steps you can take can be accessed at www.bodymindsuccess.com

Living In Awareness ‘You create your own reality’ and ‘You are what you think you are’. At first I thought this was great and very simple – all I have to do is think in a particular way and I will be / have all the things I ever wished for. However, there are certain universal laws at work. It didn’t take long to find out that, although these universal law works, it is not so much what we ‘do’ but more about how we are ‘being’ that makes the difference. We choose to ‘be’ certain ways. We can choose to ‘be happy’ or to ‘be sad’ at any given moment – usually this is an unconscious choice. We tend to allow circumstances, past conditioning and social norms to dictate to us how we act. We then find ourselves reacting to situations instead of responding to them. This can be quite a challenge especially as we are so mind dominated. When we ‘try’ to act in certain ways because we think we ‘should’ or have been told that it is good to behave in certain ways, we soon end up with feelings of resentment. When we ‘are’ peaceful, happy and in a place where we understand that God/The Universe provides for us exactly as we ask and in accordance with the energy vibration we are sending out then striving becomes futile. We can then see how weak and insignificant our egos are and the process of being able to ‘Let go and let God’ becomes more natural. We split the natural polarities of the universe in two and decide on one over the other –therefore invalidating one in preference of the other. This creates more of the same, as the polarity that is rejected will keep coming back until it is accepted. We are pulled between bouts of realised peacefulness and our strong ego desires. By shutting out the chatter of the mind/ego, we can more easily hear the god presence or spirit aspect of us. Bringing the mind, body and spirit into balance instead of the extremes we create. For example – we can abuse our bodies, feed it foods that don’t nourish it and take addictive chemicals into our systems. We can let our ego/mind become so engrossed in having and wanting more, believing that we are our minds and are identified by what we have. As the mind gets to have more control over us, it becomes loud and incessant making it more difficult for us to hear our god presence, the loving, ever-constant part of us that we so readily dismiss. Worse still, it is seen as insignificant and intangible because it cannot be intellectualised. It is as much a valid part of our being – if not more so - but it is the most denied, instead of being valued, nurtured and embraced. Our ego, or mistaken thoughts are taken to be real, when the real truth is so much more than we can comprehend. God (ourselves) is all there is – however, we have forgotten this and listened to our minds version of ‘reality’. Our society demands that we must have more and achieve more to be accepted and happy. People all over the world live in varying states of abundance – some recognising and being appreciative of theirs whilst others are never satisfied with their life and never have ‘enough’. It is no wonder that we struggle to attain peace and inner calm. By choosing a simple path, lives would change beyond recognition; we would be more spiritually enriched and would live more in harmony with our natural environment. I believe we are all worthy of beauty, wealth and to have lovely surroundings to live in. I also believe that we are the beauty and abundance of the world that we seek. We only see lack because we feel that there is something outside of us that needs to be fulfilled – therefore we deem ourselves to be separate from something. In reality we can never be separate from anything as we are everything. It is only our limited thinking that holds these beliefs in place. How do we achieve some sense of inner calm and bring about our creative thoughts, as we would like them to be realised? The creative process works on different levels. Our thoughts are creative, our words are creative and our actions are creative. Used together consciously, these three are very powerful in harnessing the creative power of the Universe. There is also a matter of belief in your ultimate success in achieving this conscious outcome. When you believe that whatever you ask for will be granted no matter what, your experiences will become more positive. When you understand that the thought of anything is it’s birth – it already exists through your thought. Allowing your energy and feelings towards your desired goal to be your guide. Staying positive and focused helps to bring it to you quicker. Feelings of doubt and negativity will block your desire from manifesting the way you would like it to. Knowing that whatever comes is exactly in harmony with your vibrational energy pattern. You attract everything perfectly. The Universe is a gigantic communication system and the quality of communication you emit is reflected in the quality of communication you receive back as your experiences. It is useful to gauge your progress – use it as a mirror to help you to either change some thought or habit that may be inhibiting your creative process or if you are happy with your situation then keep up the good work! Consciously focusing your mind and listening to your spirit presence and acting in accordance with the desired outcome will bring you success. We have been conditioned to believe that supply is limited and therefore there is not enough. This again is not ultimate reality. Again, if we are God experiencing God then we are everything. God is unlimited therefore so are we. So we are ultimately our own supply. If someone asks you for a hug, would you check to see if you have enough hugs to give away? No, you would give the hug. The more hugs you give the more you receive back. Giving therefore allows receiving. When we withhold anything (love) from anyone (which ultimately means withholding from yourself) we block the natural flow. The complete knowing that whatever happens is divinely directed and absolutely the right thing for you without exception helps you to accept what does manifest in your life. The more you can let go of your falsely perceived control and allow the universe or God to direct life for you the more miraculous the outcome. I have watched myself and society try to control ‘their lives’ doing what they feel is right, striving for excellence. We are conditioned to believe that our mind and ego is in charge. We try to exert control and direction in our life but ultimately this act is not in accordance with the vibration of the universe. Instead of achieving our desired outcome we receive a sort of fragmented version. It is our thinking that puts fences up that block the natural flow of the universe from coming into our lives. We then experience this version of our thinking in our life. Pull up the fences and let go of the resistance. Trust in the universe that created everything that you can see (and not see). How can our ego compete with what ‘God’ can provide? When you allow the universe to direct your life you will feel like you are being served and provided for in a way that was never possible before. When you stop the struggle and allow life to flow, accepting what comes without attachment or identification with it, you will be amazed at the miracles that start to appear in your life. In the universe everything that exists is energy and everything is interconnected. This means that we are connected to everything that we want or do no want in our lives; the point is that what is perceived to be missing is so because we are not in harmony with the energy or vibration that it emits. Therefore, to attract anything into your life it is crucial to be aligned to its vibration. We are like magnets drawing our experiences as directed by our thoughts, emotions, words and actions. In this way everything is perfect – there are no mistakes and we receive exactly as our vibration dictates. Try to remember that we are everything and everything is us – how can we want for anything? Bring conscious awareness into your life. Start by being aware of the thoughts that are constantly parading through your mind. You don’t have to change the thoughts just become aware of them, the act of noticing frees you from them. This, in Buddhist tradition, is known as being ‘mindful’. When we are mindful it allows us to be aware and conscious of the present moment. Our thoughts can be like clouds that pass by instead of like hooks that grab us in and take us into the past or the future. If you decide to try to become aware of your thoughts you will be amazed at how much time you spend either worrying about the past and your history or projecting a future that does not exist except for in your head. Look at how much time is spent on these intangible things that ultimately do not exist. At any given time all you have to cope with and be aware of is the present moment. How can you deal with something that is a mind projection? If and when a situation arises, it will arise in the present and you will have the tools necessary to deal with it. Try not to take your thoughts so seriously after all they are insubstantial and mind made – your mind made them. Be happy!

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin invented the expression "omega point". This expression was his term which is most likely explains a year approaching to the Mayan calendar time of two thousand twelve is all about. Naturally, it is not strictly fixed that it will happen precisely in that year, month (December), day (the twenty first) and time declared by the inventor; still it is evident that we're moving into a great awareness. Thrilling times are in front for those who hold what the awareness, and each of us is a component of it, is doing. The Omega Point was scientist’s maximum stage of awareness to which the world seems to be approaching. The world evolves in the direction of more multifaceted states, whereas at the same time more aware states. Because of some grounds this is difficult for people to catch: in particular the fundamentalists in the systematic and religious societies. From Teilhard’s point of view this is the factual hypothesis of progression, and he named it the Law of Awareness. This problem becomes increasingly intricate throughout time. One element of the motive is that thinking changes subject and subject alters idea. As a result of doing so people are all moved up to higher awareness states. Then the question arises as for why in such a case why the spiritual groups have a great trouble with that. Teilhard considered this to be the only probable if an advanced form of awareness is dragging the world to itself. At the moment we are faced with the dispute over how to entitle this awareness. In case one call it of a male origin, there will appear an orientation point dissimilar than when one call it of a female origin, or simply as an inanimate thing. It is unworkable that lower awareness states can promote increase to higher awareness states. According to BreastCancer.org, “Every three minutes a woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer.â€ Breast cancer is a serious illness that affects a significant population and should not be disregarded. Research concerning breast cancer prevention and early cancer detection is constantly conducted, but some people are still uninformed about how to protect themselves against this disease. So, how can you educate your employees, clients and patients about breast cancer? One simple way is by recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. Throughout the month, give employees, clients and patients promotional products that send a message – tell them to learn about breast cancer and the ways to detect it before it takes another life. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is filled with different activities to help people learn about the disease. One of the events that takes place every year in various cities around the United States is the Breast Cancer Three-Day. This walk allows breast cancer survivors, their family and friends a chance to walk together to raise breast cancer awareness. The event raises money to help find the cure for breast cancer. This year, why not give out pedometers to employees, clients and patients to encourage them to train for this event. With each step taken, they can think about the lives that could be saved by participating in this event. Another promotional product that can inform people of breast cancer awareness is a gift of chocolate. Now, you may think this sounds silly, but there is some logic behind it. Not only do a lot of people enjoy chocolate, but dark chocolate is filled with antioxidants that help ward off cancer. Ok, it may not be as good as a salad, but hey, itâ€TMs fun! Give employees these tasty chocolate bars with the slogan “Donâ€TMt be in the dark! Educate yourself about breast cancer,â€ printed on a sheet of paper with the time and date of the Three-Day that is near your city. If you donâ€TMt think your employees will like the chocolate, create a similar gift with one of our antioxidant-filled green tea samplers. This is a creative and tasty way to create awareness about breast cancer. Breast cancer awareness can be promoted in a more traditional manner as well. One great promotional product to consider is a pink car magnet in the shape of a ribbon. These pink ribbon magnets may not seem original, but they are a great way to raise awareness everywhere you go. The magnet will be seen by everyone who drives by. Whether you discuss breast cancer through the giveaway of a promotional product or by sending out a memo reminding employees about the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness month, you are spreading an important message and educating people about breast cancer.

Help the Aged has announced details of a new review that will be launched in the run up to the fourth National Falls Awareness Day (NFAD), which will take place on 24th June 2008. The review, Fall Stop, explains the findings of the Falls Prevention in Practice review that was commissioned by Help the Aged. This review was commissioned with the intention of raising awareness of falls risk and prevention in older people. It was carried out by a top research team from Southampton University and London’s South Bank University, and was based on a number of recommendations made by the Prevention of Falls Network Europe. Thanks to the research carried out by these universities, Fall Stop is packed with practical help and guidance to prevent falls. It is aimed at practitioners who work with old people, including falls coordinators, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, GPs, and care home and day centre managers. Help the Aged’s Head of Healthy Ageing Pamela Holmes said that the review was vital for those who work with elderly people, as well as important to Help the Aged’s own ongoing programme of fall prevention. She said: 'We are launching this review in the lead up to activities for National Falls Awareness Day so that practitioners can have cutting-edge and widely sourced information at their fingertips to support their ongoing falls prevention work.” Ms Holmes said that the timing of this review was to raise awareness of National Falls Awareness Day, as well as to inspire activities that can be held to celebrate the event. She said: “Fall Stop provides ideas for improving communication, including providing information in a range of formats, being culturally sensitive and including individual and group activities. All of this would be useful to practitioners looking to use the opportunity of National Falls Awareness Day to focus their falls prevention activities.” The aim of National Falls Awareness Day is to show older people and their friends and families, as well as health professionals and policy makers, the risk of falling as our bodies age. As there will be more pensioners than children in the UK in the next two years, issues like this that affect our ageing population are more important than ever. There are expected to be thousands of fall awareness events taking place across the UK for National Falls Awareness Day 2008. These will include sloppy slipper swaps, dance classes and blood-pressure checks. In addition to National Fall Awareness Day, Help the Aged is also continuing to push forward its campaign to improve the UK’s pavements in order to help elderly people be as active as possible. In order to do this, the charity is encouraging members of the general public to report any bad paving to their local council immediately. Throughout October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is celebrated all over the world by public service organizations, medical associations, and government agencies working together to raise breast cancer awareness. Educating the public and providing free cancer screenings is a cornerstone of this life-saving event. Next October, enhance your company’s visibility by supporting a good cause and helping to spread the word about breast cancer! Working alongside Breast Cancer Awareness Month, your company can improve its reputation and make a real difference in the world. Promotional breast cancer awareness products will allow you to educate the public while also creating exposure for your own brand. Here are a few ways to market your business during Breast Cancer Awareness Month: - Re-sell promotional products to raise funds for charity. One way your company can help promote medical research for a cure is by collecting charitable donations. Selling items like imprinted awareness bracelets or pink ribbon lapel pins is a great way to give something back to donators. These items will also help to show solidarity and spread the word about breast cancer even more. Throughout the fundraiser, people will hold your company in high regard for doing the right thing and taking the time to make a difference.
- Give out promotional merchandise to raise awareness. There is a wide selection of promotional breast cancer awareness products that can be custom-imprinted with a company name, logo, or marketing message. If you want to point people towards an informative website or give them a phone number to inquire about free screenings, promotional products are a great way to make sure your message is heard. A physical product is much more likely to have an impact on your audience than a simple spoken message. Aside from educating the public, you’ll reap the benefits of increased goodwill towards your company.
- Support a good cause and gain new customers in the process. According to the Cone Millennial Cause Study in 2006, 89% of Americans (aged 13 to 25) would switch from one brand to another brand of a comparable product if the latter brand was associated with a "good cause.” Additionally, people were more likely to want to work for these socially responsible companies. Companies who support non-profit organizations in this manner have seen increases in the amount of business they generate time and time again!
This type of marketing, known as “cause marketing,” can dramatically improve public and customer relations while also promoting a great cause. Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with promotional products creates a win-win situation that allows your company to gain new business, and at the same time, give help to the people who need it most. Being a socially responsible company has lots of benefits! Plan a promotional campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness next October and take your business to the next level. Let me tell you an old Zen story about a monk, this monk knew that awareness was key to his existence and enlightenment. So he decided to go out and find a Master called Tao who was renowned for his ability for awareness. He searched high and low and eventually after many years of practicing awareness during his search for Master Tao he comes across some villagers who were talking about Master Toa's abilities. He approached them and asked them if they knew where he could be found. They answered, "why yes, his hut is on the hill over there by the stream, its easy to find as it's the only hut." The monk thanked them anticipating this journey was almost over he ran to the hut. He noticed a sign that said," remove shoes before entering", and quickly he removed his shoes and ran in falling to the ground in front of the master and told him of his incredible journey. The Master did not flinch or acknowledge the monk, he just simply asked," Did you remove your shoes when you entered?" The monk was a little upset, noticing that the master never noticed he was barefoot. He answered with a little surprise, "Yes master, of course. The master the asked," which side of the door did you place them?" The monk replied, "I don't remember master, let me check." The master replied "when you have the awareness that you notice the small details that make the big difference then you will be ready to begin your journey, till then I suggest you go home until you are ready." The monk left with his head bowed and came across the same villagers. They asked him if he had met the Master, to which he replied, " Yes, and I have just released my journey has just begun." Just like the monk, I would like you to consider that regardless of the amount of training and personal development and education that you have had so far, this article is just the beginning of your personal Journey. Awareness in and of itself can change your life, most people really don't know what spiritual teachers mean by this term because it is used without any for of definition other than what our own life experiences create for us. It is more than just knowing something, because just knowing does not stop you from getting stuck in the rut and dysfunctional emotional reactions that keep you from being your real self. Awareness involves seeing how everything fits together to create you, what happens to you, how you behave, how you react, what you feel inside, and everything that goes on around you to create your universe. When you see this with awareness then the consequences of each step become apparent and you are at choice, let me repeat this, you are at choice. Other wise you are just operating as if you were reacting to situations on autopilot based on old programming from when you were a child. Creating this level of awareness is as easy as it is difficult, the first stage is to PAY ATTENTION 100%. Pay attention to what really happened, not what you made it mean? Pay attention to how you are behaving in the moment. Pay attention to how you would normally react, this is just habit and programming. Pay attention to how you feel, be honest, without judgement where it is good or bad just how do you feel? Notice just reading this, stuff comes up. It is important not to stuff down feelings as this can be dangerous, as explained in the chapter 19 feelings are just energies. It is just as dangerous to express those feelings, especially for the person you are expressing on. Pay attention to what is going on around you. As you develop conscious awareness you begin to notice that it comes in several stages. The first stage, a person creates their reality entirely unconsciously, they do it by internally processing all the information that comes at them through their senses. How the see, hear, feel by touch, taste and smell; and they process this information to create how they feel, behave and react to life. It is almost as though every thing outside of them is dictating who the world they live in is created. Life just seems to happen because an initial external stimulus creates the resultant behaviour, reactions and feelings. This is autopilot and each stimulus is programmed from experiences from the past. The second stage occurs like an awakening, they discover that what they do with what comes in through their senses creates every feeling, behaviour and reaction. Also that their beliefs become reality, and the mind is an amazing powerful goal seeking tool, that creates and attracts what you focus on. And that your have been focusing unconsciously and unintentionally on external stimuli hence your results. They learn that, if they are waking up to terms of their awareness, they can not focus on something unless they value it. They also learn that if they value something in order to avoid what they do not want , they are actually focusing on what they do not want; and again the mind creates results upon which it is focused, which is what you dont want and you end up getting. The third stage, they begin to master their internal map of reality by acknowledging that the information that you receive from your senses if being filtered through deletion, distortion and generalisation before being re-presented to the mind. As they master this, they become aware of the ability to take charge of their emotions, behaviours and reactions know that the information they are receiving is not complete. They also can create their own reality by choosing what they focus on consciously. This stage of awareness allows them to manifest what they want to create in physical, emotional and spiritual essence. This shift requires conscious awareness and finally the last stage. The forth and final stage , enlightenment, this is when they become aware of the realization of the supreme reality beyond the mind and that direct perception of reality without the filters of the mind or self realization; and that they are the source of all love and bliss. Not bad for the first chapter, the secret to enlightenment. If you want a step by step easy guide, then this is it. Pay attention 100% , and then love life and all of creation, including and especially yourself. Do this and you will be on the path. I am sure there are many other levels of awareness and paths but the simplicity of this is key to me. The way in which I practice this is by keeping things very simple in life and paying attention as life occurs around you. This is the basic skills of our natural born leaders and those that standout from the crowd, you have to make this a conscious decision. So ask yourself in each moment, ˇ What am I paying attention to? ˇ How am I behaving? ˇ How am I reacting? ˇ How am I feeling? And when you pay attention, do not get attached to whatever is going on for you, just allow it to be.

A series of events themed around safety on the Internet is being aimed at both children and parents in an attempt to raise awareness of dangers and risks on the Internet. With broadband connections available more freely nowadays and more of us now having access to a personal computer or laptop, parents are being encouraged to keep a close eye on their children’s online activity. February 12th has been entitled ‘Safer Internet Day’ by the InSafe group. The European-wide event – which is celebrating it’s fifth year of operation and awareness - was set up to encourage vigilance – both by parents and children – on staying safe online. Schools were also encouraged to raise awareness, with many now having access to broadband connections in order to help with research during lessons. Information packs for a range of ages were provided by InSafe, who also ran a design competition of publicity material. The competition encouraged groups of children from across Europe to design promotional projects about online safety, with the winning entries becoming focal points for the campaign, as well as offering a cash prize for the winning groups. According to research carried out in 2007, over 40% of youngsters between the ages of 8-11 regularly used the internet, and there have been past campaigns to highlight the dangers of revealing personal information, such as mobile phone numbers and real names on internet chat rooms and social networking websites. There have been rises in high-speed broadband connections and social networking websites over recent years, and children of all ages are being advised on how much information they post on their profiles. But the Get Safe Online campaign is also advising users of all ages on the dangers of viruses, spyware and malware, and encouraging them to use anti-virus software and firewalls in an effort to protect their personal data.

"The moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself." -Henry Miller I love words. I love language patterns and word meanings and the tremendous world of linguistics. For over thirty years I've been studying persuasion. I have been studying the language of persuasion. Of course there are some physical components to persuasion, but ultimately, persuasion is a world of words. I'm thrilled to bring you this information. Aldous Huxley said, "Every individual is at once the beneficiary and the victim of the linguistic tradition into which he has been born - the beneficiary inasmuch as language gives access to the accumulated records of other people's experience, the victim in so far as it confirms him in the belief that reduced awareness is the only awareness and as it bedevils his sense of reality, so that he is all too apt to take his concepts for data, his words for actual things." I love this description. Language can expand our universes or reduce our awareness. When we study persuasion, we can maximize the benefits of our linguistic traditions. One of my favorite aspects of linguistics is the language pattern. And one of my favorite language patterns is 'the awareness pattern'. I tend to use the following three words the most in this category: aware, experience, and realize. When you say one of these words, you are making the person you are persuading start the mental process that you mention (i.e. becoming aware, realizing, or experiencing). Everything that follows these words is presupposed to be true. They allow you to force the issue of not 'will you' but 'are you aware of'. When you gain skill with these words, you might start to worry that someone will respond to your question, 'Are you aware. . .?' by saying, 'Actually, no, I am not aware of that.' I want to assure you that when this language pattern is done properly, this response seldom if ever happens. But on the off chance that it does, simply say, 'No? Not yet, huh?' Here is an example: The more you begin to construct in your mind the ways you'll be using these patterns, the more you'll begin realizing the profitable techniques you are learning. Are you starting to experience the growing awareness of what being involved in this program will bring you as I tell you about it and as you go through it? Is the awareness of the power of these patterns starting to sink in? Let's go through this carefully. I'm not asking you if these patterns have power; that would not be a presupposition. Do you think these patterns have power? That's not helpful. I'm asking you 'are you aware of the power'. If you're not aware, it presupposes you need to be aware. And if you are aware, you'll state such that you are in fact aware. If you say, 'Yes, I'm aware,' then you know the power of the patterns and you agree they're starting to sink in and if you're not aware, then by hearing the question asked, you begin to become aware. If you're feeling a little excited by this information, you're ready to learn more about how language can expand your universe.

Call it awareness, gratitude, meditation, being present, consciousness. Whatever comes to mind, the use of outdoor fountains can aid in your journey. A variety of tools and practices are currently being used to predispose us to awareness. There is an imperative being felt around the world, which is motivating many to change and grow. Being attentive to simple activities that can be done routinely is a great way to practice. Communing with nature is frequently as a simple starting point to begin the awareness process. But where does one find nature amid the asphalt, high rises and vacant land that we are surrounded by? If you cannot go to nature, bring nature to you. Easy, affordable facilitators are garden fountains placed strategically amid greenery and flowers. The abundance of styles and types of garden fountains make selection and placement easy for the city dweller. What Size Are Outdoor Fountains and Which One to Choose? Outdoor fountains may have a footprint as small as two feet or as large as six feet wide. Fiberglass wall fountains come in a variety of textures and finishes. They are lightweight and mount against any surface using a sturdy hook, screw, or nail. You can find garden fountains available in a wide variety of colors, patinas and structure. Beauty is a prime consideration when treading the steppingstones to awareness. With the look of genuine stone alabaster outdoor fountains constructed of glass fiber reinforced concrete is particularly beautiful with its smooth variegated finish. Some garden fountains have the appearance of waterfalls, whereas some add whimsy with fairies, cherubs or woodland creatures. Water may trip and dance descending over many levels or gurgle with playfulness. Focusing on beauty will aid in experiencing the present. It is all about using ones senses to experience the isness rather than on words or labels. A beautiful outdoor garden fountain can transform patio, balcony, porch or window box into a tranquil respite for focusing. Get more ideas about outdoor fountains by visiting http://www.garden-fountains.com/Detail.bok?no=1984. Using Your Senses With Garden Fountains Avoid labeling the object that precipitates water movement as just a garden fountain. Become aware of the thoughts that cross the threshold of your mind. Without judgment, allow your thoughts to ebb and flow and become the observer of the thoughts. When you do not identify with your mind, the stillness and peace within you begins to emerge. Now, look at the fountain and the water, really take a look. Sense the texture, the color and feel it. Is it cold, warm, rough, or smooth? The liquid, how does it look and feel? Is there an aroma associated with the water or the wet or dry surface of your outdoor fountains? Warm wet rock does produce an aroma. Is it pleasant and refreshing? If your thoughts lead you to drift from the garden fountain just label them as thinking and gently return your focus. For more ideas about garden fountains visit http://www.garden-fountains.com/Detail.bok?no=65. Hear the sound that emanates. The relaxing sounds produced by the water descending over declines, stones or onto another surface bring one into the present with a sense of peace. That is the peace of being present in the moment. Consider using outdoor fountains as a valuable tool assisting in my journey to awareness and trust that it will be a positive force in your life.

There are currently about 170,000 main charities in England and Wales registered with the Charity Commission. Many of these not-for-profit organisations rely largely on fund-raising through events, voluntary committees and the sale of charity merchandise. Charity promotional merchandise encompasses a whole range of items such as T-shirts, silicon wristbands, keyrings, pens, pencils, mugs, balloons and badges, which are overprinted with the charity’s logo. Of the various kinds of charity merchandise, one of the most successful and cost effective in promoting awareness and boosting funds are badges. Badges are an enduring classic with a high perceived value. Many business sectors including charities have already realised their potential and benefited from their massive appeal. Several distributors of promotional products support the fundraising sector with a dedicated charity division, offering a full range of merchandise and services for the smallest to the largest charities. This complete tailor made package provides practical solutions at every stage – from design and consultation to warehousing and distribution - helping charities maximise the potential and proceeds of their fundraising campaign. One ideal way to raise awareness and money for any charity - whether it’s a company, association, club, group or school - is through the sale of badges. Many charities, both national and regional, regularly use badges to publicise their good work and boost their insufficient funds. As non-profit organisations, charities are dependent on various sources of income such as bequests as well as raising money through events and the sale of charity merchandise. With approximately 170,000 registered main charities in England and Wales competing for donations, the most successful charities are usually the ones that have become experts in self-promotion. Whether donations are collected by volunteers in the street or indirectly on the counters of banks, building societies, supermarkets, shops and libraries, the trend these days is to offer a small item in return. Charity badges are perfect for this as they are relatively low cost but enduring. Unlike disposable items like stickers, badges are often kept on coats or stuck onto bags for several days or even weeks. This means the charity benefits from repeated exposure without any further outlay. Available in almost any shape, size and colour, it is possible to be quite creative with a badge. Tailor-made to meet specific requirements, most charity badges incorporate a name, logo and individual design with many charities instantly recognisable from their badge because their logo is so well known. As a marketing tool designed to create awareness, the use of charity badges is very successful and also extremely cost effective. * Praveen Samra is an SEO expert and Web Developer at Rocket Charity, the UKs Leading Charity Merchandise Supplier.
