Everything has it's pros and cons. The same is also in case of dog fighting. I hope that everybody will agree with me that when a fight of two dogs bred to fight who tear each other to pieces, it is morally unacceptable. But as it is said, there is dog fighting and then there is dog fighting. It is a natural and common thing that dogs use to play with each other, especially if they are young. It is called "play fighting" and we are free to say that it does good to dogs. On the contrary, if it deals with a serious dog fight which results in heavy injuries of participating dogs and leaves them mutilated, we are morally obligated to say that such an affair is very bad and should not be permitted. However, many breeds of dog have a fighting past as they were used for combat. Such breeds of dog are for example American Pit Bull Terrier, Boerboel, Bull Mastiff, Dogue de Bordeaux, English Mastiff, Neapolitan Mastiff, Presa Canario and to a degree also Caucasian Ovcharka, Central Asian Ovcharka, Kangal and many other. Some people say that if these dogs were fighting through thousands or at least hundreds of years, then when they will not fight at all, it will spoil their original nature and temperament. Many experienced dogmen claim that both is wrong - both no dog fighting and the real one that damages dogs. And this was also the reason for the inception of a practice, which is something between the safe play fighting and the real dog fighting. The best known such practices are temperament tests of wolfdogs practiced in Russia. Other forms of milder dog fighting are dog wrestling or fitness dog fighting. One way or other, mild dog fighting practiced with young dogs who are not fully adult is not that dangerous like when fully adult dogs. The worst problem of dog fighting are gamebred dogs. Gameness is the breakment of social behavior of dogs and it is a very bad phenomenon, the inception of which was caused by the people who wanted to fight their dogs in the worst possible way - to the end of their life. The fight often was not interrupted at all despite severe injuries of the fighting dogs. That is why I would strictly ban all the gamebred dogs and their gameness as such. My personal opinion is that dog fighting could be okay, but only if it's mild form serving breeding purposes. This means that the breeds of dog who were fighting all through their history would be allowed to show their natural dominance in a test that they would participate in at a young age and that is all. No bloody dog fighting, no more gamebred dogs. Only the keeping of natural behavior of dogs toward one another and for this purpose will do temperament tests - if there will be good and safe rules to prevent dogs from injuries. Anyway, everything depends on the people who make laws, which are different in every country.

Title: Relationship: Fighting No-No
It is very normal and healthy to have difference in opinion and it is normal to fight to prove your point in a relationship. Different people have different thinking and thus there are disagreements among couples. When you disagree you are likely to fight. There is nothing wrong in fighting but where you’re fighting that needs to be given attention. Couples often come into arguments and start fighting forgetting where they are standing. You have to be conscious of the place when you come into an argument and avoid fighting in a crowd. Couples often start arguing and then end up fighting when they are attending a party or any other family gathering. This not only creates an embarrassing atmosphere for the couples and family members but also becomes a talk of the town. The people present in the party do not take a positive outlook about you. You actually show them a negative side of your relationship. Whenever you are present at a party make sure that you do not come into an argument and keep it later when you spend time in privacy. If you do happen to come into an argument make sure you do not fight or find a private corner where people do not notice you. For sure none of you would like to be embarrassed and throw a negative light on people about you. People really think in the negative about you and your relationship. People form an opinion that is far from being correct from one such act of yours. None of the couples would like to show their relationships as an unsuccessful one, especially when it is really not. Such fights not only are embarrassing for you and your partner but also are a reason of embarrassment for your family members. As said earlier arguments and fights are normal in a relationship, but arguments and fights as a routine should not take place? If it does then there could be some or the other problem with the couples. It could be that you are unsatisfied with something or maybe you have got everything in life and do not have any worries what so ever. The issue could be any; you just have to try to understand the problem. If you are unsatisfied then find out the reason for it. If you have no worries and have all the pleasures of a happy relationship then you could be undergoing some kind of physic problem and you need the help of a psychiatric. When you often come into arguments with each other then give time to each other and find out why you act in such a way as to make things embarrassing. Instead of shouting and yelling at each other immediately try to understand each other and resolve the problem. For a better understanding of how you behave see other couples fighting at a party or the street and watch out for the public opinion about them. It is then you will realize how people feel about you when they see you fighting. You will definitely feel embarrassed at the thought of it. Fighting on regular basis and especially should not be a part of relationship. To make your relationship happy always say no to fights. Find out ways to solve problems to your arguments and disagreements. You will for sure come out with a solution. Title: Top Ten Ways to Keep Your Kids from Fighting
1. Ignore Their Fighting Fighting is often a way for kids to get you to notice them. If you ignore their fighting (unless weapons are involved) there will be less incentive for them to do it. 2. Treat Your Kids the Same When it Comes to Fighting If you get into who started things, you may be training your kids to be victims and bullies. Put them in the same boat and don't take sides. 3. Give your kids positive reinforcement when they are cooperating. Let them know that they're doing a wonderful job when they get along. This one's easy to forget but vitally important. Give them attention when they're behaving the way you want. 4. Limit your own fighting and arguing. Your kids will learn how to be peaceful from you. Don't expect them to do it well if you don't show them how. 5. Create an environment of cooperation. Do projects together as a family that involve cooperation. Talk about how important it is for the family to cooperate. Avoid games or activities that promote fighting in your kids. 6. Train your kids in peacemaking when they're away from conflict. Talk to your kids about fighting at a time when they're relaxed and open. Ask them about what other options they might have taken rather than to hit their sister. Help them to brainstorm better solutions. 7. Avoid punishing your kids in general. Punishing kids usually just creates angry kids who are more likely to fight. Do your best to give choices and give time outs. Punishment may bring short term solutions but will also bring long term problems. 8. Control how you react to their fighting. When you must intervene, make sure you stay calm. If you're angry and shaming, you actually make it more likely that fighting will occur again. 9. Limit the number of fighting opportunities you give your kids. Think about what has the potential to start fights. Don't buy a red ball and a blue ball, this may result in a fight by your kids. Buy two red balls--no fight. Don't have them close to each other when they're tired and hungry if you can help it. 10. Love your kids for all they're worth Every day tell them you love them and more importantly, show them. Kids who feel loved are the least likely to fight. This won't eliminate it, but the alternative isn't pretty at all. Title: What makes up a martial art?
What makes up a martial art? A martial art simply is any skill that is intrinsic in warfare. The word martial means "military." So historically, a martial art is a military art. The first things that usually come to mind when discussing modern fighting systems are leaping, kicking, punching, blocking, inverting elbows, twisting necks, throwing, and weapon fighting. But also horsemanship, javelin throwing, archery, spear fighting, halberd fighting, wrestling, knife fighting, rifle, shotgun, and pistol firing, demolitions, logistics, and battle strategy can all be described as the field of martial arts. Anything that a soldier might do in battle is a martial art. By martial art usually it is meant aikido, arnis, boxing, capoeria, chow gar, choy la fut, hapkido, hsing'i, hun gar, jeet kune do, jow gar, judo, jujitsu, karate, kempo, kick boxing, krav maga, kung fu, pa kua, penjak silat, praying mantis, savate, shaolin, tae kwon do, tai chi, white crane, wing chun, wu shu and more! It is clear to see the list is very big and it is actually get to see how many martial arts systems there do you think and how many methods of self defense can be formulated. There is a long running joke in the martial arts, that basically says when someone says theirs is the best style, what they really mean is "I study X". Keep an open mind and open eyes, and you will find the style or styles that best fit your needs. Often within a martial arts school it is taught that 'this exact style is the best system and it was created to beat all the others'. Of course every martial artist would seem to think their style is the best because that is the style they have chosen to do, but in actuality what they are saying is 'this is the best style for me as it suits myattitude and I like the teaching environment'. Just because a style doesn't focus on whatever it is you are interested in doesn't make it a bad style, it just makes it not the right style for you. Be wary of anyone who says otherwise. #1) Safety - You must maintain 100% safety when entering into the opponents attack range, this means to control any dangers that could occur by being in control of them. (Methods of entry must be sophisticated yet simple, fast as well as safe!) #2) Attack - Pertinant is the ability to attack when you decide, with no worry or problems. The attack should be made up of a great handling of the opponents weapons. (Attacks must be structured to have within them a 100% defense!) #3) The ability to change and - Techniques, attacks and defenses must flow but not necessarily at a constant pace. Adaptability to choose what's next is vital! Whatever martial arts you choose take your time so you do experiment a little before you decide and enqire with the school what combat systems equipment they utilize to get the best from your training. This article was written by P. Sundbye who has been training in various martialarts for the last 11 years including Wing Chun Kung Fu, Aikido, Tong Long and the Lee Total Control system.

Title: The Principles Of Ba Gua Zhang Fighting
You want to find out about one of the rarest, most underrated forms of martial arts fighting? I learned all about this great fighting style called Ba Gua Zhang. It really blew me away because this style of fighting is not like most fighting styles, especially all that stuff you might see on television or in the movies. What makes Ba Gua Zhang so different is the fact this style is based on the open fist philosophy rather than the closed fist. You see, the object is to strike down your opponent with skill rather than simple brute force. It takes a bit longer to get really good at this kind of fighting but it has some really good things going for it. When I was younger, I used to get into fights all the time. This was before I learned how to fight for real and also before I matured quite a bit and learned that fighting is not always necessary. I used to fight with my fists instead of my head and that got me not only into a lot of trouble but also a lot of broken bones. Especially my fist. Any decent fighter worth his salt has broken a hand or two. It is not much fun, it hurts a lot and it puts you out of commission for a while, too. What happens if you have to defend yourself the next day and you've got a broken hand? You are in trouble that's what. So Ba Gua Zhang taught me there is another way. Fighting doesn't have to be all straight ahead attacking. You can subdue a threat with skill instead of trying to just maul the guy. The basic concept of this style is to constantly move and change your approach to any given situation. No matter what your opponent throws at you, be ready to keep adapting. One of the main things you do when you first start practicing this style is the circle walk. It is really very simple. You just walk around in a circle. Seems silly maybe, but you stay in motion and, believe you me, a moving target is harder to hit than a non-moving one! So your opponent has to come to you and moving around gets him out of his comfort zone. It also prepares you to defend yourself. It is much tougher to move fast if you are just standing there still. If you are already moving, it is easy to keep moving, get it? Another thing that is important to know is the idea behind palm changes or different postures your upper body is exacting. I mean, heck, your lower body is doing something, why not give your upper body something to do as well, right? These moves get you ready to fight. It is like priming the pump or winding the spring of a catapult - preparing for battle, if you will. That is how real fighting is, quick and spontaneous.

This type of fight training can literally change the way you look at life. Its challenging, and getting good takes practice. Youll get a great workout with this type of physical activity. While this is not a sport that just anyone would want to take up, many people find it very interesting, life altering, and of course fun to learn. If you want to challenge yourself to learn submission fighting, you will find that even if you are in great shape you will be tired and sore when you first start training. Most people do not realize it, but this type of fighting requires that your whole body is fit, not just your legs, arms, or chest. This style of fighting will give you a core workout, a cardio workout, youll notice changes coming quite quickly. Most people that are involved in this sport report losing weight, gaining lean muscle mass, and over time they develop more stamina and energy to do all of the things that they love, not just sparring and training. It can be difficult to get into submission fighting and do it safely because so many of the classes and coaches out there are not on the up and up. Before you start with any school or instructor, you should be sure that they are certified and are true professionals. You can get hurt and you can hurt other people accidentally if you are not taught properly. This style of fighting is all about control and maximum effect with minimum effort. These things can be taught, but they have to be taught appropriately. Some people find schools that have programs locally but soon find that they just cannot make it to the classes often enough to make it worth paying for them. Luckily, online fight classes are becoming quite popular. Through the Internet you can learn all of the same techniques that you would learn in the classroom, but given the knowledge you can now learn and practice where and when it is convenient for you.
