Whether you believe in reincarnation or not, you must admit you couldn't help looking if someone showed you a couple of images or a short film about different moments your past lives. I am sure you would also be tempted to see your future, at least get a glimpse of what interests you most in this life.

Although some religions have the idea of reincarnation in the center of their belief system, people were rather skeptical about it for many years. However, since psychiatrists started using past life regression as therapy, we have come to understand the link between certain experiences we had in the past and the present moment. Therapists try solving some of their patients' emotional problems by 'sending' them back into the past, to the moment or period that constitutes the starting point or cause of present-day torment. There is also the possibility that the origin of a current problem be found in some 'future life'. Anyway, all these past, future or parallel lifetimes have one purpose only: to make you realize your true nature.

There are two ways in which you can access your past lives. One is involuntary and may happen anytime (recurrent dreams, feelings of 'deja vue', memories of certain places we have never been to, of people we have not met, of experiences that we cannot claim to have had and yet seem so real as if we had lived them). The other is through hypnosis and it implies the participation of a specialist in hypnotherapy who conducts the session. The session begins with a relaxation exercise by means of which the subject is prepared for the episode of past life regression that follows.

An induction technique combined with some instructions is used. The subconscious mind of the subject will slowly take the therapist to the source of the problem. When the patient starts communicating his or her feelings and emotions, describing the images that he or she sees, sometimes uttering obsessive words, the difficult part begins. The therapist must put the pieces of information together and interpret them so that they make sense. It takes time and a lot of practice for one to reach that level of understanding.

As form of therapy, past life regression is considered to be very effective for a wide range of emotional problems, especially in the field of human relationships. By working with traumatic memories from past lives, therapists sometimes discover the source of both an emotional and physical problem. Some other times, they even detect a belief in the patient's subconscious mind which limits his or her success in life. Many phobic reactions that could not be explained by any present life experience come to light after a session (or several sessions) of past life regression.

There are two types of trauma that past life therapy focuses on: complex traumas that take much time to resolve, such as chronic illnesses that someone has from a previous live, and simple accidental ones that are not connected to an emotional conflict or a karmic script. Whichever the trauma, past life regression therapy seems to be quite effective and many therapists who have specialized in this field in the last decade claim it is one of the most interesting approaches to human soul.

Past Lives & Reincarnation - You Would be Surprised to Learn About Your Former Lifetimes

Scott Petullo 2008-01-19
Title: Past Lives & Reincarnation - You Would be Surprised to Learn About Your Former Lifetimes
We once had a past life regression client who, after We directed him into a past life, became mad at us. "I find it hard to believe I was a prostitute in a past life!" he said.

His reasoning was that since he would never do "such a low- life thing" now, he couldn't have possibly done it then.

While we’re not endorsing prostitution, his statements may imply a belief that a prostitute is less of a person than someone who isn't.

In reality, we are all equal, no matter our profession, race, age, bank account balance, sexual orientation, social status, body type, or other factors. Try to accept and have compassion for those who are different than you.

Besides, considering that prostitution may be the oldest profession in our world, and that many of us may have lived hundreds of lifetimes, the idea that we all may have been on either side of such a transaction isn't so hard to believe.

Other clients have said, after perceiving past life scenes, "I find it hard to believe that someone who is so nice could have been so cruel in a past life."

We explained that sometimes those who are exceptionally "nice" now may have learned the value of compassion, consideration, and love from lifetimes where they were the opposite.

You would be surprised at who you may have been and what you may have done in past lives. For possible clues, examine the actions of others, professions, countries, and groups of people that hold your interest, especially those that provoke emotion within you.

Finding Your Uniqueness

Sharon Michaels 2007-09-03
Title: Finding Your Uniqueness
The most important time in your life is right at this moment!

The past is the past and the future is yet to be discovered. Learn from the past, live in the present and plan for the future.

True power comes from how you’re living your life right now. To see the future you must take control of where you are in the present.

To discover your unique strengths, you need an understanding of what makes you unique. Your strengths are built from the many different experiences in your life. You’re a sum total of your past, present and hopes for the future.

Uniqueness is defined as being without equal. No one else in the whole world has the same experiences, inner motivators, dreams, goals, or abilities. You owe it to yourself, and the other important people in your life, to find and use your special gifts.

Finding your uniqueness flows from deep inside. Your life’s purpose is the gift that only you can give the world. You have to know your unique qualities in order to live out your life’s purpose. When you know your life’s purpose, life has meaning.

Beginning your research

Finding your life’s purpose will help you to become more in tune with your inner self. You will be exploring your likes and dislikes, your strengths and weaknesses and your deepest thoughts. To get where you want to go in the future, you have to know where you are right now.

What really makes you tick? Let’s start exploring.

When you were little, before the world began telling you what you couldn’t do, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Let the child in you dream and plan the future. Believe the impossible is possible. Believe your dreams will come true. Believe, without a doubt, that you are worthy and deserving of success, happiness and unlimited prosperity. Allow the child in you to come alive once more with wonder, anticipation and excitement.

Are you aware of how you subconsciously feel about living out your destiny and finding your life’s purpose? Down deep inside is a belief system reacting positively or negatively to the idea of finding your life’s purpose. Take a few minutes of quiet time and answer these questions.

1. What was I most often praised for in my life? 2. Was I encouraged to take risks and try new things? 3. What have I stopped myself from doing because I didn’t feel I would succeed? 4. What did I most often dream about becoming when I was a child?

To find your life’s purpose you must believe you truly deserve happiness and success.

Living your dreams isn’t selfish or self-centered – it’s exciting, rewarding and fulfilling!

Eliminating limitations

Are you placing impossible limitations on yourself?

This is the time to explore ALL possibilities. Self-empowerment skills allow you to achieve your full potential through self-awareness.

Let’s analyze a few of the limits you may be placing on yourself.

1. What do you feel is going right in your life right now? Make a list of the ten best things going right for you. 2. Do you believe in your abilities? Make a list of your ten most outstanding abilities. 3. If you could change only one thing in your life at this minute, what would it be? 4. When you think about the future, what excites you the most? What, if anything, makes you sad? 5. Who is the person you admire most in this world? Why? Are you like this person in any way?

When you love what you’re doing in life, you can’t wait to begin the day. You get out of bed feeling enthused and energized.

Persistence is powerful. Desire to find and live your life’s purpose is a powerful inner motivator.

Be bold. Take risks. Start with one bite-sized piece at a time and accomplish more than you ever imagined possible.

Use your energy to create success!

Everyone has a life’s purpose

You have a life’s purpose!

Some people find their mission every early in life, others have to wait until they’re more mature. You have a special talent and calling only you can fulfill. You’ll begin feeling you have more direction and control of life as you listen to your hearts desire.

The first question you must ask: How can my life’s purpose benefit not only myself, but others as well?

This is probably the most important question you can ask yourself.

Any mission is valid as long as it expresses your uniqueness and special gifts. A life’s purpose is a representation of all your unique qualities.

You’ve probably had many clues throughout your life about your life’s purpose. If you haven’t found a mission yet, you can.

You may have been more aware of your mission during childhood than as an adult. Often, well meaning parents, teachers or other role models push and pull you onto a certain career path.

A life’s purpose doesn’t necessarily have to be a career. It can be a hobby too. What’s special about a life’s purpose is that it makes you happy and satisfied.

When you’re living a true mission, you share special gifts with the world. And, when you give yourself to the world, it comes back to you ten-fold.

“I always wanted to be somebody, I should have been more specific.” Lily Tomlin

Self Improvement and The Law Of Attraction

Danny Kang 2007-05-09
Title: Self Improvement and The Law Of Attraction
Copyright (c) 2007 Danny Kang

Do you have problems regarding life, happiness and success?

Most of us will face different problems and if were able to find free advise, will it help? I would say it will help if you come out of your comfort zone to discover the potential and opportunities around you.

Everything that happens to us happens in purpose. And most of the time, one thing leads to another. The key will be do not dwell in the past and think about what you want. Learn from the past and do not repeat the past mistakes again. You have to stay focused and persevere despite the difficulties you will encounter.

Think about the life, happiness and success you desire. Try to visualize them with the right focus and with the right emotion. For example: “I don’t want to be sad every day” “I want to be happy every day”

Can you see the difference? “I don’t want to be sad very day” has a wrong focus on being sad.

To gain self improvement, try to focus on your mental and emotional side. Emotions dominate our actions and reactions, even though we do not want it to happen sometimes.

Positive emotions are a lifelong goal for many of us concerned about emotional health and self improvement.

One of the biggest problems that people have is to put their positive emotions behind their negative feelings.

However, there is no clear way to ignore a negative experience and try to replace it with a positive one. It does not work this way in Life.

For example, when your dog dies, you would be heartbroken. You would probably buy another dog but the sorrow is still there.

Self Improvement and Law Of Attraction is closely related. The Law Of Attraction works like this: dominate your thoughts on what you want, feel good and the universe will magically conspire to bring it to you.

For example, if you want to get a good job, you would focus your thoughts on finding a good job. Since you are focus on getting a good job, you would probably go to the bookstore and buy some books on the subject, use that knowledge and apply it to get the job you want. And if you feel good and happy and confident all the time, it will show in the job interview and you will probably get hired.

To summarize: If your approach to self-improvement is to have a desire to lead a meaningful life, to be happy and successful and feeling good about it, the universe will response to your “request” that you are putting out by way of your feelings and thoughts.

NLP - 8 Techniques to Reframe a bad past experience of your Life for a Brighter Side

Pradeep Aggarwal 2007-02-03
Title: NLP - 8 Techniques to Reframe a bad past experience of your Life for a Brighter Side
At the end of this article, you will be amazed to find out a new YOU. You may not be aware but whatever you do, is in one way or the other is connected to your past life experiences. NLP discloses a small secret to you that your positive past experience can guide you positively in your life on the contrary the negative past experience can block your path of progress. It is a proven fact.

Sometimes it has been evident that a person knows what he wants out of his life and the ways to achieve that goal in his life. Yet he is unsuccessful in his life. Do you know what made him unsuccessful in achieving his target? His past experiences are not allowing to move ahead in life.

Every one has a darker side in their lives. You must have suffered a situation when you where terribly hurted. NLP states that you were not unfortunate because you suffered a bad experience, but you are unfortunate because you are allowing that bad experience to still reside in you. Good and bad times are the part of life. Abraham Lincoln faced grievances in his life but still he was successful. In fact, he was successful because he experienced the grievances in his life.

The most unfortunate thing is that your past experiences hurted you in the past and they are still hurting you as they compel to pass by the opportunities that you deserve. NLP can help you frame your experiences in the new way for the brighter side of your life.

All you have to do is to follow the NLP exercise, so that the thought of your bad experience may not disturb you anymore:

Step 1. Choose a comfortable place: Sit in a comfortable position where you are not disturbed. Make yours self completely relaxed and calm.

Step 2.: Recall the past memory of the event with NLP: Now, think about the matter, which is disturbing you. Recall the time when you faced that situation. Go back to that time when you actually faced that in your life. As you recall the past scene, use all your senses to recollect the event. This is one of the most powerful technique in NLP:

1. See (the people around you) 2. Hear sounds 3. Feel (either you are tense or upset) 4. Smell or taste

With NLP Relate your event with all your sensory organs. This is one of the popular NLP technique of recalling the past events of your life. This way you will easily find out the way in which it affects you.

Discover Your Past Life

Title: Discover Your Past Life
Do you have any idea about your past life? Have you ever wondered who you are or what you are before your present life? Or maybe you just don’t seem to care and don’t believe in such things. I don’t really pay attention to that issue before. I just don’t seem to care. I have no idea that my long time question will be answered the moment I’ve discovered who and what I was in my past life.

It was 2 years ago when I have discovered that things in the past somehow played a part in my present life. Let me share something about myself to make it clearer and for you to be able to understand the connection between my past and present life.

When I was young, it has always been my dream to live in a convent and be a Nun. My parents don’t like the idea. They want me to finish college and do what is best for me. Years have past but that dream is still growing in my mind. But I can do nothing about it. I love my parents and respect what they want for me. I know that it is for my own good and they only want the best for me.

Another thing about me is that I never had a boyfriend. It’s not that I hate guys. I just don’t feel like being with them. My teenage life has passed without having a relationship with a guy. One day, I was talking to a psychic over the phone when she suddenly told me that she can reveal my past life. I agreed, but deep inside I feel scared.

She asked some things about me- my birth date, zodiac sign and more. She told me some things about me and she was right. After a while she revealed the answer. I was a Nun in my past life! At first I don’t want to believe her because I have never told her about the long time dream I have since I was little. I was really shocked and I don’t know what to say. That time, I have realized that my past somehow reflects to my attitude and my dream long ago. Why I wanted to be a Nun, why I don’t get along with guys and why I always wanted to serve God.

I would love to give thanks to the psychics of Universal Psychic Guild for the information and for my past life analysis which helped me a lot in discovering my past life. http://www.psychicguild.com

Personal Development Techniques To Release The Past

2008-01-22
Title: Personal Development Techniques To Release The Past
It is possible to release your past regardless of how painful or deprived it was. Through these personal development techniques you let go of all your emotional baggage and start fresh.

Once you release your emotional attachment to your past you are free to enjoy the present. From this powerful place of being happy and content with where you are you can then begin to create the future of your dreams.

Although you cannot change anything that has happened in the past you can change how your past experiences affect your future. The first step to releasing the past is to accept that it happened. No matter how traumatic the experience or how distasteful the memory is you must acknowledge here and now that it occurred. This is what we call entering a state of Acceptance. Many people live their entire lives wanting to change the past. They moan that if only things had been different their life would be so much better. The past is gone. It happened. There is no way to change the past so there is no point wishing that it never happened or that it happened differently. You cannot change it so accept it!

After acceptance you can enter a state of peace when you realise that the past, all of it, good and bad experiences alike have helped to form and mould the person you are today. All the knowledge, desire and love that are in you right now are a direct result of the past experiences that make up your life.

Next realise that the past has some powerful lessons to teach you. Look for the positive learning experience that the past has taught you? Use your past as a learning tool. See where you went wrong and make the changes you need to make today so that your future becomes a bright and welcoming place. Never use your past as an excuse to stay the way you are or to tolerate circumstances and situations with which you are currently unhappy! Realise that the past has been and gone. All you have is this moment and that is all you need to make changes.

Many millions of people throughout the centuries have overcome their own personal adversity to achieve great things. You can do the same. These people refused to accept what life had handed them. They never moaned about their past nor allowed it to interfere with their present and thus they created their future the way they wanted it to be.

Dwelling on the past and using it as an excuse to stay stuck in your life should never be an option for you. Use your past negative experiences as a motivational tool to spur you on. It is all about your perception! The truth about this universe is that you always get more of what you focus on. If you chose to focus on the mistakes and hardships of your past then that is what you will experience more of.

But if you decide to put the past where it belongs, in the past, and fully embrace the present moment and where you are you will find yourself in a powerful creative place. Only revisit the past to learn from it not as an emotional trip. Although much of your current mental conditioning originates from childhood and early life experiences it can be changed. By making the decision now and holding the intention now that the past will no longer affect you, you can free yourself from your own self-imposed bondage.

From this place of freedom you can make decisions based upon current situations and circumstances instead of being the slave to reactive emotional thinking and acting. The evidence is everywhere that people with painful, damaging pasts have overcame them and gone on to achieve high levels of success. Look at the business world, sports, creative arts etc. There are rags to riches stories everywhere you care to look.

You may encounter past experiences that are very difficult for you to realease. At these times you should seek professional help in whatever form you feel appropriate, even if it is just a subliminal or hypnosis recording. Do something now to release your past - make the decision that it will no longer rule over your current life. Intend to be free of the past. In your own mind decide now that no matter what you need to do you will release your emotional issues. Even though you may not know how you are going to do this yet hold the intention that you will do it. When you do this and begin to live in the now you will be more content and at peace while you wait for your marvelous future to unfold.

Past Life Regression

vicky 2008-03-20
Title: Past Life Regression

Past Life Regression therapy is an effective way to discover the reasons for current fears, recurring dreams and personality tendencies - understanding them, learning from them, and finally letting go forever. Through exploration of your past lives you can easily learn why you are repeatedly entering abusive relationships, why you are born into your particular family, why you have this obsessive behavior and find out what lessons you chose to learn this time around, etc.

After years of hypnosis counseling I discovered that the work is much more effective and the results are longer lasting if the client is regressed and finds out the REAL, DEEP, UNDERLYING reasons for their visit.

Many people resolve many problems by understanding there past lives. For example, take a woman that was extremely overweight. She felt a compulsive desire to eat almost constantly and never felt satisfied. She found out that she died from starvation in a past life and was now subconsciously compensating for it. ... or a woman that has had a strong fear of closed places. She was unable to drive into a car wash, enter a tunnel or elevator.

When regressed to a past life, she found herself buried alive in a coffin. In those days, when you pass out and they can't find your pulse, you were considered dead. She called for help and struggled to get out, but with no success - she suffocated to death. After realizing the origin of her fear, she was able to let it go completely. How about a man that had an unexplainable and severe fear of large bodies of water... considering that he never lived next to one in this life. When he was regressed to a past life, ... he found himself 8 years old and an only witness to his parents drowning. Their little boat filled with water while he was running back and forth helplessly on the beach.

Age Regression is the process of going back to a previous time in your current life, often discovering repressed memories that affect your subconscious actions and reactions. Past Life Regression is Age Regression taken further, back to a previous life... Future Life Progression is a progression into a future life, Age Progression explores a future time in the current life. Reincarnation is a belief that we have lived many times before and that our spiritual development evolves with each lifetime. In some religions reincarnation is part of the belief system, for example: Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and Wicca. In Europe, reincarnation is widely accepted. In this country, it has started to gain acceptance only in the past 100 years.

Why Work With a Life Coach?

antoinette sifis 2007-04-12
Title: Why Work With a Life Coach?

We are living in a time of numerous and vast changes, would you agree? An increasingly rapid pace, busy, busy, busy, aspiring to be personally and professionally more effective, whilst at the same time juggling our personal and work lives. Our goals are evolving, for some they are on hold awaiting more time, more money, more skills, more something….whilst others have an idea of what they want to achieve, yet drift along, day after day, hoping that one day the dream will become a reality , kind of like a boat without a rudder.

There are new skills and more awareness required of us, the world is changing and sometimes it feels like we are just keeping above water, losing sight of our dreams or worse still, living goals and purposes that are not our own.

If you could picture a duck for a moment, gliding across the rippled waters of a lake, seemingly with little effort, yeah it’s doing okay, at a surface level. Now think about what the duck is doing beyond what we can see, its using loads of energy kicking away, stopping, starting, taking a breather, kicking away again – a stark contrast to its seemingly effortless external effort don’t you think? Has anyone you know ever experienced life as the duck? Perhaps there is a plan to one day evolve into a swan - pure, congruent, at peace - able to glide effortlessly and easily ahead – congruent above and below the surface.

Having strategies, and the education to create increased effectiveness, creativity and productivity to reach those goal ahead, can be achieved quicker and greater with a partner - one who has the insights and commitment to your personal and professional development, one who will provide focused support and guidance as you make changes, one who challenges you, is dedicated to your development, enhances your transition to where you want to go - A Life Coach.

A coaching partnership creates an intense focus and momentum that helps you create your life exactly as you intend it, to achieve your own definition of success and fulfillment, to develop from the duck to the swan.

People who achieve excellence have done so by learning how to tap into the most resourceful part of their brain adopting a heightened sense of self awareness. They have learned to take total responsibility for their thoughts, actions and results they are getting. This includes choosing what to focus on, asking more empowering questions, creating beliefs that conspire to their successes. Mastering this, they enjoy a deeper level of fulfillment which is built on their strengths, increased confidence, stronger personal and business relationships and more effective communication at home and at work.

Let’s take this one step further. By taking total responsibility for your reactions, thoughts and actions, do you think it gives you more choices and possibilities for turning things around, for resolving past hurt, and looking at new possibilities? Taking it to the next level, how about drawing a positive message from what seems a negative result? You can do this when you have the belief that there is no concept of failure, only feedback, an opportunity to learn more about yourself, your capabilities and opportunities, what you need to do differently to create a different result next time and being thankful for the gift that is being presented to you.

Do you often take on an error, a mistake on as emotional baggage, you marry it so that it becomes a part of you? Do you also divulge in self talk, the ‘nagger’… oh you got it wrong, you are not good enough! So how about we divorce this self talk altogether and take on a real soul mate, one that says, hey if you do not get the outcome you want, it’s simply feedback, that’s all it is. How would this approach change your outlook and your actions? Have you heard how the light globe came to be? Thomas Edison had 1000 attempts at it, of getting it wrong or perhaps 1000 attempts closer to getting it right, as he put it. Each time, he used the feedback he received to do it differently; he used that information to make finer distinctions about what he needed to do to create the results he wanted, and presto, we have light!

People who achieve personal success develop a heightened sense of self, and learn to take responsibility for their results. When they let go of the excuses they let go of the baggage they had been carrying around, they get to experience a renewed sense of freedom, like a weight lifted, excited about their future, at peace, more loving, appreciative, focused, a new sense of determination.

So lets ponder this for a moment, what if you started right now to ask more empowering questions that could turn any situation around, you accepted feedback and learned from past results, used courage to understand and overcome limitations, created beliefs that served and supported you, focused your energy to what you really want to create, embraced what seemed unfamiliar and had some fun in the process, lived every day congruently with who you are and true to your purpose. Do you think it would improve the quality of life, even by a little? Where would the greatest changes occur? What would you be doing differently? Where would the rewards be?
