Business to business, which is popularly known as B2B is used to explain the type of transaction which place between two businesses or business to business. It is opposed to business to consumers and also to business to government where direct transaction of the things takes place between business to business. It was born and used specially in electronic commerce. It also takes the form of a process in which the trading between two partners of business to business transaction increases more than the B2C application. The example of B2B is that a person producing chicken feed sells it to another company that is chicken farm, rather than selling it to the consumer.
An example of B2C would be a grocery store selling chicken feed to a customer. The marketing activities can also be properly fitted between business to business and not just by removing the final answer from marketing. The B2B is also used for identifying the business transactions so as to be entered in the books of accounts. We can put it this way by saying that an institution selling photocopies would be B2B organizations and not B2C organizations. The B2B system of selling is thought to be more difficult to sort out than the B2C system of selling. Also it includes decisions being made by one side of the party i.e. either the buyer or the seller. B2B, this term is also used by many high grade marketing companies to describe door–to-door sales practice as an act of cheapness and phrase it as a euphemism. Then there is B2B marketing communications. It is many industries, companies try to up bring the status of their product and match business to business scheme to the products of other companies by using their tact and special marketing skills.
The main purpose of business to business is to increase the profit of the company, make the company well efficient and stabilized. The plans it involves, include good public relations, reply of mail and messages, branding of goods, interactive services, etc. the marketing of business association is the commercial organization that serves those people who are professionals of B2B. This was first started in the year 1922. It’s not an unknown fact that established business owners often have lots of resources and connections that could really benefit your business. But, if you’re a small business owner just starting out, how can you get these business owners to take you seriously and keep your business card? 1. Stop handing out your business cards to business owners like it’s candy. Business cards are such wonderfully creative little marketing products. Most of them, unfortunately, end up in the nearest trash can. The manner in which you hand out your little marketing product will also play a factor in the rate of which your cards are kept or tossed. Nobody wants to be bombarded with a big sales pitch. If you meet a prospect and within two minutes you are promoting your own business or stretching out that business card, your card will more than likely end up in the trash. 2. Start by making the business owner you are talking to feel important. Ask questions about them and take time to really get to know them. Ask them for their business card (they may respond later by asking for yours). Make them feel really important by showing true, genuine interest in their service or product. If they ask you about your business, instead of saying “I’m a stockbroker”, you might first start off by saying instead, “I help people create financial success”. This will leave a far more positive and appealing impression of what you do. Then, once again direct the subject back to them. They will remember the good feeling they received from your genuine interest in them. It automatically places you in a positive spot in their “emotional” and “mental” association. 3. Take the business owner’s card and jot down some important facts that you need to remember. We often forget details when we meet so many people. Remembering little details makes quite an impression and shows that you care. You can jot down details on the back of their business card or create your own file to keep an extensive list of details. 4. Write the business owner a nice thank you note. Let them know that you enjoyed meeting them. This is a nice reminder of who you are and another positive reinforcement. A preprinted card with your picture and business name is a good asset. Again, don’t make a big sales pitch, just be personable. Personalize your envelope with a big stamp and handwritten lettering. This may seem like a lot of work, but it is far more profitable than throwing hundreds of business cards in the trash. Your business name and card will more than likely stay in that business owner’s files or nearby on his desk somewhere. The next time he is seeking that particular product or service, you will have a good chance of getting his business. If that business owner already uses another company for the type of products or services you offer, your business card can still be very beneficial to you. As a business coach I often observe that the challenge with growing a business for most business owners is that they can be scared of ‘letting go’. You see, most business owners start off in their business doing everything… and as the business grows they try and take on more and more to keep ‘in control’. Yet the time comes in the growth of the business where they HAVE to let go… They can’t physically keep up! Sometimes the business owner does their best to keep up. They work more, longer and harder – but despite all of their efforts the business starts to ‘stagnate’. And the owner becomes tired. There are no more hours in the day. They begin to realize that they can’t possibly keep their fingers in ‘all the pies’. They have to let go. Now most business owners are proud of the fact that they ‘know what’s going on’ in every area of their business… And some dread losing this ‘contact’ or ‘control’ You see by being ‘in’ the business the business owner gets a feel for how the business is traveling. If they keep on the ‘floor’ they can see customers coming in, what stock is selling, what stock is being delivered. Now the big step (for them) is moving away from being involved – to overseeing. Because they are scared that they’ll lose the ‘feel’ of the business. And it’s at this point that some business owners panic. What’s the answer? The best business owners learn how to keep a ‘feel’ of their business without having to be there. How can they do that, you may ask, if they’re not involved every day? How can the best business owners know if it’s busy? How can they know what stock is needed? How can they know if customers aren’t happy? How can they know which staff are being productive and which ones aren’t? How can they keep their eye on the registers and the petty cash? How can they do all this? They can do it by setting up and monitoring their measuring and reporting systems. I call them ‘dashboards’ or ‘scoreboards’. You see the best business owners set up ‘dashboards’ so that they can ‘see’ how their business is going. It’s like a dashboard in a car, or a cockpit of an airplane. When you’re driving you don’t need to put your head out the window to ‘feel’ how fast you’re traveling. You just look at your speedo. And you don’t need to look in your petrol tank to see how much petrol you have used. You just look at your fuel indicator on your dashboard. If you set up Key Performance indicators in your business – you can see how different areas of your business are performing. All the best businesses do it. And you should too. And you should start now… before you put on more people… I get all my clients to start measuring critical areas of their business. And there’s a certain process to do it, and a certain way to measure it so that it works. And when you get it working – it can help liberate you from your business. When you have your own ‘dashboard’ or ‘scoreboard’ you will need to look at some key things daily, whilst others are better to look at weekly, monthly and even quarterly… And when you have them – you can step out of your business. Because the ‘dashboard’ will tell you what’s going on when you’re not there. It’s magic. Even if you’re not in the business you’ll be able to gauge how things are going and how your people are going. Who’s doing things and who’s not… so you can step in and take action to improve the situation immediately. With the right systems, people and training like I have outlined, works like a charm and it’s one of the most powerful things that you can do to take your business into the multi-millions of turnover. I use these with my clients with extraordinary success. We look at them every week to assess how the business, and how the team in the business are performing – and based on the accurate and timely information – take action to correct anything that ‘off-track’ and caress anything that is on track. For example. One of my client’s critical areas dropped from 37% to 22% then 21%. Now to you that may just be a percentage figure – but to the business owner and I it meant we were losing $2,000 profit per week – every week that it stayed at the new lower level. That’s $100,000 profit in a year. So we jumped into action. After a certain process that I stepped him through we drove it back up to 44% and kept it there. That one thing alone made him tens of thousands of dollars in just a matter of weeks – let alone what it made him over a year. Another step that I take my clients through is setting up their ‘dashboard’ whilst they are still ‘involved’ in the business – then the next step is to send the ‘dashboard’ to their home for them to look at in their own time This steps them from having a ‘feel’ of the business to looking at the ‘dashboard’ so that they can transfer their ‘feel’ of the business into assessing the numbers that are on their ‘dashboard’. As we step through that we determine ‘standards’ that each of the critical areas should be reaching each day, week, month for the business to be dong ‘nicely’. Then armed with the standards and the dashboard – the business owner can comfortably step out knowing what the dashboard has to show for him/her to stay in control of the business. We then work on getting the business owner out of the day to day running of the business. For example if the owner is working 5 days in the business… the first step is to move him to 4 days in, and one day out. Then 3 days in, 2 days out… then 2 days in 3 days out and so it goes until the owner is able to choose their work hours because the business runs without them having to be there. Then when you choose to come into the business – you can do the work you want to do, and focus on the building your team to run your business for you. Remember when your business is working it means that you don’t have to. Your life may never be the same. So many people ask the same question: Is Multi Level Marketing a REAL Business? Is it truly a business that can produce a living and income? Is it a REAL distribution business? It is a business that operates for the customer's satisfaction, and always looks to gain new customers? Here is the answer: YES. How and why does it qualify as a business? Every business has certain traits and functions that are needed to do business and stay in business. We have developed what we call the "7 Business Factors Test", and you have to ask these questions to see if it qualifies as a business. All businesses, no matter whether it is a traditional business or a non-traditional business, (such as MLM), answer these questions in the affirmative. What are the "7 Business Factors Test" Questions? 1) Does the MLM Business distribute goods and services of some type? Answer: Yes. In MLM, there are goods and services that are distributed through personal distribution methods, and they are distributed directly to the customer, with no middle man. These goods and services can be manufactured by the MLM company, but usually are not. The goods and services many times are manufactured by an outside source, and then shipped by the MLM Business to the customer or distributor. Then the distributor can take the goods, and re-sell them to their customers as well. 2) Does the MLM Business have an official Office, headquarters, or structure that the business is operated out of, and with an address of some type? Answer: Yes. All MLM businesses should have some kind of office or headquarters that the goods are shipped from, or at least in charge of the shipments getting to the customer. This does not have to be a fancy office, but one that can get all the tasks needed to run the business done in a timely fashion. They should have a visible address on all communication. The distributor's business is usually operated out of the home, and that counts as a structure that the home business is housed. 3) Is there an accounting structure that is set up to run the business effectively and legally? Answer: Yes. All MLM businesses should have an accounting function and personnel set up to handle all business transactions. They not only keep the books for the MLM Business itself, but also the MLM distributor as well. The MLM Business from the home should have some form of an accounting system, for tax purposes, and for profit and loss statements. Accounting also helps keep the Company and distributor aware of the health of the business and how it is doing, or not doing. 4) Does the MLM Business have easy communication to get a hold of someone if needed? Answer: Yes. Communication is the lifeblood of any business, and MLM is no exception. MLM Businesses usually not only have an order line, and a distributor line, but a general public telephone number that the public can get in touch with them as well. Usually at the MLM Business Office, there is someone to answer the phone as well. And the MLM business should also have an email system that is watched, and taken care of, on a daily basis. This is not only for the distributor base, but also the customers and public as well. 5) Does the MLM Business have the needed business licenses and legal structure to do business in the states and countries they operate in? Answer: Yes. All MLM Businesses that have been in business for any amount of time, must have the needed legal structure and licenses to operate in every state. If they do not, they will eventually be forced to cease doing business in that state. And most MLM Businesses have some form of a corporate structure that the company operates under. That could include being a C Corporation, an LLC, or a Sub S Corporation. Even MLM distributor needs a license to do business in their city, so they will not be penalized if they do not have one and are caught. 6) Does the MLM business operate on a FOR PROFIT basis? Every successful business structure, traditional or non-traditional, should operate on a FOR PROFIT basis. Even the MLM distributor needs to operate on a FOR PROFIT basis. If the MLM business does not operate in a profit mode, and loses money continually, the MLM business will not be in business for that long. It is the same way for the MLM distributor. If the distributor does not make any money, then they will not stay in business long. 7) Does the MLM business perform all of the needed business functions to increase business, including marketing, promotion, campaigns, running specials, advertising tools, customer service, brand extensions, research and development, direct marketing, increasing brand awareness, and keeping their vendors at an honest price? Answer: Yes. Every MLM business operates to increase business, using all of the functions mentioned, and more. Even the MLM distributor needs to perform some of those functions, to increase their own business in their marketplace. These are functions any business needs to do, in order to stay in business, and enlarge it's operating capacity. Yes, an MLM Business is a TRUE business that operates to service the customer's needs, bring products and services to the marketplace, and show a profit at the end of the year. MLM or Multi Level Marketing, has passed the "7 Business Factors Test." In addition to a business license, required by almost all localities in the United States, a new business must file many tax forms at the start of the business. If you are selling a product, your business will need to file for retail sales tax licenses. Depending on the location of your business, you may need to file for a retail sales tax license from your city, county, and/or state. If you are selling a service, and your state or city requires sales tax for services, your business will also need these forms.
Another thing your business will need to file for is a federal tax identification number. This number is used on all tax documents for your business. It may not be required if you will be the only person working for your business. However, if you plan to use subcontractors or employees, you will need a federal tax identification number in order to pay your contractors or employees. This is required by the federal government so that wages paid can be tracked by the IRS for purposes of collecting income taxes.
Some cities require that individuals and businesses pay a local income tax in addition to state and federal income taxes. You should find out if your business will need to pay this type of tax, and what the filing requirements are for your location. Many businesses are required by law to file quarterly federal income taxes. If you are a smaller or home based business, these quarterly tax payments are not necessary by law, but can prevent you from owing taxes at the end of the year. If you are not sure whether or not your business should make quarterly tax payments, you should contact a professional accountant to answer these and any other questions. If your business does need to make quarterly tax payments, you will want to obtain the necessary forms for your business taxes from the IRS prior to starting your business. Become familiar with the forms and the processes, and organize yourself so that your business runs smoothly after start up.
There are many other considerations when starting a business. You need to make sure that your business follows all business laws applicable to your type of business. Some industries and businesses require additional licensing. Other industries require additional insurance to be purchased. Workman's Compensation insurance is required by federal and most state laws if you have any employees. Some states require a business to carry liability insurance to cut down on law suits, while in other states this type of business insurance is optional.
Make sure you know the legal requirements for starting a business before you actual begin doing business. This way, you will be compliant with all local, state, and federal business laws, thereby cutting down on your risk of running a business as well as cutting out the possibility that your business could be shut down before it has ever truly begun.

With the modern business climate, however, companies are searching for personnel with specialized training in a particular area and far less willing to train employees at their own expense.
For those preparing for a career in business, it’s worthwhile to examine the possibilities. The various positions related to specialized areas of business involve different skill sets and aptitudes. Applied management is a far cry from organizational management, which is in turn distinct from contract management, acquisition management, project management and any of the many other managerial distinctions. When we say sound assumptions, we mean that the figures that are used in the projected financial statements are results of extensive research and price analysis.
Investors will most likely go directly to the financial plan when reading to through the business plan and the business strategies. These parts of the document will tell them how profitable the business can be and what are the possible improvements that can be introduced to make the business more profitable. From the financial plan, the investors can already gauge as to whether or not the business is worth their money or not.
