TV shows have become popular as millions of people around the world watch TV series and also they rank the tv shows according to their priority. Popular TV shows Lost and Heroes have won the imaginations of millions of people. Popular TV shows makes people to leave the reality of day to day life. For example people viewed plane crashing and the aftermath. These tv shows stay fresh in memory year after year. Last and Heroes are evergreen tv shows. In spite of the development of internet, these tv shows glue people to sit at one corner of the room and watch the show. Casting plays a vital role in the success of popular tv shows. Each character is identified by the viewer. These tv shows dominate the lives of millions of people. More and more reality tv shows dominate the world. Reality shows did not pop up in the late Nineteen Nineties and after the grand success of Survivor, number of reality shows came up one after the other. Shows like The Bachelor, For Love, Big Brother came up later and compete for prizes. TV episodes can also be viewed online. Popular websites like You Tube, Google offer video facility to watch tv episodes online. Popular TV shows are uploaded in websites to enable viewers watch the shows online. A survey conducted in August, 2006 based on top 10 shows in 20 countries the American TV Show CSI: Miami stood first, Lost and Desperate Housewives are placed second and third respectively. Constellation factors such as great writers, producers, actors, good concept, a strong ensemble cast providing multiple story lines, proper time slot, comfort of audience, good net work support and of course the taste of public make a tv show last and popular. TV shows “The Simpsons” and “60 Minutes” share the traits of reliable cast of characters, good writing, and comment on current events etc. These shows come as rescue to today’s TV blitzkrieg. Most of the TV shows are either concept driven or star driver or morph one into the other. Title: Las Vegas Must-See Shows
It is a daunting task to try and pick out which shows to feature for this segment since Las Vegas has an abundance of amazing entertainment. In fact, it was hard enough to decide on which shows to see on my last visit. With nightly shows ranging from magic to comedy, opera to variety shows, acrobatics, adult entertainment and even shows like Blue Man Group which are simply indescribable, Las Vegas, sometimes called America’s playground, has something for everybody. Here are some of just a few of the must see shows in Las Vegas… If you have ever seen the Phantom of The Opera at the movies or on stage and enjoyed it, you must see the Phantom of The Opera: The Las Vegas Spectacular at the Venetian. This rendition is by far the most grand and theatrical of the stage performances, complete with state of the art special effects including a massive chandelier that magically assembles itself over the audience in the opening act. I was fortunate enough to see this show on my recent visit to Las Vegas, and having seen it on Broadway, this version deserves to be called spectacular. A VIP package is available for those who would like to get a backstage tour and private meet-and-greet with the cast members after the show. Also at the Venetian is one of my favorite shows in Las Vegas, Blue Man Group. This show really is something that has to be seen and cannot be easily explained. It is like trying to tell an inside joke that has been translated from German. I can explain to you that the show includes hilarious comedy, powerful percussive music, special effects that will leave you scratching your head wondering how they did that, and audience participation, but unless you see the show for yourself, you really won’t understand why it is so great. If you want to be completely entertained from curtain open to curtain close, go see Blue Man Group. One of the newest and hottest shows in Las Vegas is Le Rêve, at where else but the one of newest and hottest hotels, The Wynn. Named after a painting by Pablo Picasso owned by hotel owner Steve Wynn, Le Rêve means "The Dream" in French. This show lives up to its name with amazing visuals including angels swooping down from above and snatching mortals which sometimes plummet back down to earth. The circular stage, which seems to be more technologically advanced than most airplanes, shifts and changes depending on the scene. Sometimes it drops below the water line to provide a diving pool for the acrobats, sometimes it partially or completely surfaces to provide a flat surface, and other times it rises high in a multi-level configuration. It is not secret that Le Rêve was the brainchild of Franco Dragone, producer of shows such as O, La Nouba, and Mystere, and borrows elements from the Cirque du Soleil franchise. However, the special effects, technology, choreography and sheer beauty of this show makes it a must see for anyone who likes to be amazed. Just a note for our listeners: Le Rêve' VIP Indulgence Package will get you luxurious seats with your own video monitor, a bottle of champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries for only $179 per person. Of course if you prefer to see a Cirque du Soleil show, you’re in luck. There are currently five Cirque shows playing in Vegas. From O’s watery dreamlike production, to the sensual sexiness of Zumanity, to the classic Beatles’ inspired LOVE, there are some entertaining shows to see. My personal favorite is the frequently overlooked KÀ playing at the MGM Grand, which tells a compelling and action packed epic story in a strange postindustrial theatre. What would Las Vegas be without showgirls? If you’re looking for a show that screams Vegas, look no further than Jubilee! at Bally's Hotel and Casino. An old fashioned show with singing, dancing, a little comedy, and the sinking of the Titanic, Jubilee! Is sure to please those looking for classic Vegas entertainment. Just a warning though, many of those showgirls will be topless so plan accordingly. There are just so many great shows in Las Vegas, that there is no way to report them all here. One thing is certain though: while staying in Las Vegas, you certainly won’t be bored. Listen to the full episode of Universe of Luxury: Las Vegas Edition

Title: Maury Made a Living on DNA Testing
Do you watch daytime television? If you do, then you know that it is horrible. You have to put up with soap operas, court shows, and a plethora of talk shows when you watch television during the day. The funny thing is that many of us still watch daytime shows, even if they are terrible. These shows have been around for years and don’t seem to be going anywhere any time soon. Talk shows have to be the most unsettling shows that are on the daytime category. I observed that the producers of talk shows only seem to have a handful of show topics. They recycle and regurgitate these topics over and over again. Among these recurring shows, the DNA testing show is probably the most overdone show. You will often see some poor woman getting berated by an audience of strangers because she is there for some free DNA testing, when you turn on your television during the day. I have seen this show so many times that it makes me sick. A woman who has no idea the identity of her baby’s father can turn on the Maury show to help her figure that mystery out. Since DNA testing can be very expensive, single moms may not be able to afford it. To be honest, I am equally enthralled and entertained as much as I am disgusted by the DNA testing shows. In my opinion, this is the human comedy/tragedy at its best. There are two people that once were close, and now they cannot stand each other if only for a night. There is also the father that decided that he no longer wanted the responsibility and so he began to deny fathering his children. It can be hard to watch the ever-popular DNA testing talk shows because there is a lot of pain, frustration, anxiety, and emotion involved. The bottom line is that there is a child that needs to be taken care of in the midst of all this. The focus should be on the child and not on whether or not the child’s parents are standup, responsible people. It’s a sure bet that something went terribly wrong if someone is caught in a situation that requires DNA testing. Title: Reality TV Shows Taking Over Television
Reality television shows first burst onto the scene back in early 1990s when the television show Real World first premiered. Even though that show started in the early 1990s, more reality shows did not really pop up until the late 1990s. Once survivor came out and was a huge ratings hit, everyone started to jump on the bandwagon and produce shows about anything and everything. Their have been shows such as The Bachelor and For Love or Money that are dating shows. Their have been shows such as Big Brother in which people live together and compete for prizes. A lot of reality shows have been broadcast but many of them bomb. By now this is a trend that most would think would have died down but it has only picked up lately with Skating with Celebrities and Dancing With the Stars being popular. With the way things are going there is only a certain amount of time for shows to broadcast and reality show will not get dropped in favor of them even though many of them fail, so who will be the loser. If more and more reality shows get picked up less sitcoms will get picked up. Dramas are just as popular as reality shows right now so networks won’t bet against them. In sum, if you are not a big fan of reality shows you can sell your television because it looks like networks will keep coming up with anything and everything until they run out of ideas. Car shows are an excellent way for owners to display their vintage and antique cars. Exotic models of Volkswagen, Ford, Mercedes, Chrysler, Corvette and Rolls Royce etc. are showcased in car shows. Such car shows are called classic car shows and they are much different from ordinary car shows. They are also popularly called by their French name concours d’elegance. Most of all, these classic car shows are a platform for classic car owners to flaunt their possessions. There are several car aficionados who do not use antique cars for traveling, but still maintain them in order to display them in classic car shows. Awards are given to best maintained car, most antique car, best-looking car, best alternative fuel engine, etc. Detailed reports on these classic car shows are printed in tabloids and car magazines whenever the events are conducted. Classic car shows are events where antique cars can be sold and purchased. These are events when people wanting to buy a classic car can sometimes buy antique Aston Martins, Chevrolets, Fords, Volkswagens, Mercedes and almost all other makes at highly affordable rates. Car shows conducted for classic cars are ideal places where new collectors and hobbyists can visit to gain knowledge about vintage cars from the owners themselves. Sometimes manufacturers of the car brands visit the car shows and give presentations and demonstrations about their cars. People who have procured classic cars as inheritances visit these shows to get their cars evaluated and, if they so desire, sold. Concours d’elegances or classic car shows are conducted by major show organizers, which are oftentimes clubs of classic car lovers. Some famous concours d’elegances are conducted annually at Meadow Brook and Cranbrook in Michigan, Pebble Beach and Hillsborough in California and Hilton Head Island in South Carolina among many others. During these events, which run for a week or so, tens of thousands of people visit the car shows. People learn about the history of cars and meet the owners of classic cars. Even prospective buyers get a chance to shop for an ideal antique car. Visitors are made to vote for the best car and awards are given on the last day based on the votes. In some car shows, there are auctions of classic cars. The owner may donate the proceeds of the auctions to suitable charities. Import Car Shows provides detailed information on Car Shows, Import Car Shows, Car Show Models, Classic Car Shows and more. Import Car Shows is affiliated with New Car Dealers.

Title: Off Broadway Shows
Off Broadway shows refer to offbeat and experimental theatrical shows (musicals, stage shows and plays) in theaters, which are not in Broadway theatrical territory. The classification of a theatre as off-Broadway is determined by the contract terms and conditions lay down by the Actors Equity guild. Usually the off-Broadway theater has a capacity of 100 to 400 seats. The production costs of these shows are usually lower than the Broadway shows. However, they are more expensive than off-off-Broadway shows. These shows are also not very aggressively advertised. These offbeat shows offer a stage actor a good platform to showcase his or her talent. Since acting in these shows is challenging, they draw actors from the mainstream as well. Many off-Broadway shows have been very successful and have come to be readapted and run as Broadway shows. Musicals like Avenue Q, Rent, Hair and Little Shop of Horrors and plays like Doubt and I Am My Own Wife are some of the examples of off-Broadway hits run as Broadway shows later. Off-Broadway shows are not eligible for the Tony Awards. Doubt, an off-Broadway play remade as a Broadway show, received the Pulitzer Prize for drama. Non-profitable groups and non-commercial production groups produce most of these shows. Although these shows are not dependent on commercial success, they need to generate a fair amount of awareness and interest, as they require a subscriber’s base for financial support for their shows. Off-Broadway shows are also popular, as most of the time they guarantee good entertainment at a very low price. Some of the off-Broadway theaters are Playwrights Horizon, New York Workshop and Manhattan’s Theater Club. Some of the current off-Broadway shows running successfully are The Snow Queen, Drum Struck, and Almost Maine. Tickets to Broadway Shows provides detailed information on Broadway Shows, Tickets to Broadway Shows, Off Broadway Shows, Discount Broadway Shows and more. Tickets to Broadway Shows is affiliated with Half Price Broadway Tickets.

Title: Popular Ways To See Broadway Shows
There are a number of Broadway plays and shows that people love to watch over and over again. But not all shows last forever on Broadway because the theaters need to make way for new shows and give others the opportunity to show their plays on Broadway. At the moment, there are a number of shows on Broadway that are very popular, and if you are going to New York anytime soon, it would be a good idea to place some of these shows on your itinerary. Websites are a great resource to find locations of theatres, show listings and much more before choosing a show. When staying in hotels in New York City there are people who can help you get the most popular show tickets. Part of the registration process is selecting the shows that you want to see on Broadway. The whole point here is to catch any of the current Broadway shows any which way you can. You can enjoy Broadway shows which have great singing, dancing and acting in one of the most incredible cities in the world. A great gift would be tickets to a Broadway show of his or her choice. Discount ticket codes can help you lower the cost of the Broadway tickets that you want to buy. Broadway performances have an enormous popularity and hence its tickets are always in high demand. The reason why discount tickets exist is so those people who are on a tight budget have the ability to see great performances like everyone else. Basically you can get Broadway tickets at a discount through many channels: standing room only, lottery, discount codes on tickets, student and senior discounts are just some of the discount that are available for all different types of shows on Broadway. Broadway tickets can be obtained at ticket counters, ticket agencies, organizations, and brokers. It is on Broadway where you can watch the best musicals, plays and theater acts that appeal to every audience. In New York the street “Broadway is the street that symbolizes the theater where live shows are performed. Today the area, known as Broadway to tourists and theatergoers, stretches from West 41st Street, and all the way up to West 53rd Street's Broadway Theater. In the meantime, Broadway has certainly given us our share of popular stars. When visiting New York it would be a shame and your trip would be incomplete without attending a Broadway show, your best bet is to choose the most popular ones so you are not disappointed. Getting a Broadway ticket for a popular show or play can be both challenging and expensive.

Title: 12 Steps To Successful Slide Show Productions
Planning is the key word for creating successful slide shows. This includes wedding slide shows, graduation slide shows, anniversary slide shows, birthday slide shows, memorial slide shows, etc... This is not difficult, but does require time and effort on your part before hiring a professional slide show creating company to create your unique video slide show. Here are some steps you can follow to insure a beautiful slide show production. 1. Determine how long you want your slide show to be. The length of your slide show will determine how many photos you can use. If you are using the simple fade-in fade-out style, you can usually use about 80 pictures for a 10 minute show. And that is about all most audiences can handle. However, if you choose a slide show creating company that has more creative elements included in the slideshow production, then you may only be able to use 50-60 photos for a 10 minute slideshow. However, the upside of this is that a more creative slide show can last longer and seem shorter. A 20 minute creative slideshow can feel like only 10 minutes, where a 10 minute fade-in, fade-out slideshow can feel like 30 minutes to a lot of people. As we all know, we dont always enjoy viewing one anothers photos for long periods of time. So, the more creative the show, the longer it can play and your audience will not even realize how much time has passed. For instance: Sands of Time Multimedia Creations did a video slide show for a church that went on a mission trip. They were given hundreds of photos to work with and the end results were a one hour video slideshow presentation. As the youth gathered around to see this, they were not at all excited at the prospect of watching photo after photo for one straight hour. However, as soon as the video started they noticed immediately that this was not your photo-after-photo slide show. Their attention was captured from the beginning to the ending as they laughed, cried, and cheered. At the end they were surprised it was over and stated that they had no idea an hour had passed! They all purchased their own copy of the video. Creativity - the key to a truly great slideshow presentation! 2. Pleasing Your Audience If possible include some photos of the people who will be viewing the presentation. Everyone loves to see themselves light up on the big screen! It will make them feel a part of your special event and keep their interest peaked to see who will be showing up next. 3. Decide Your Theme - Choosing your theme will help you choose your photos. A. Do you want your slideshow to span the life of an individual? B. Is more than one persons life going to be featured in this slideshow? If so, do you want their lives shown separately or simultaneously? C. Is the slideshow going to focus on a specific aspect of the persons life such as a sports video, a particular hobby, or a particular quality aspect of a persons life such as in a Mothers Day Slideshow or Fathers Day Slideshow? D. Is the time frame very specific as in a vacation slideshow? Or Christmas slideshow highlighting the current years events? 4. Choose and Organize Your Photos These are very crucial steps and also very challenging. After all, almost every photo of Jane or Bobby is truly unique and beautiful and shows different character qualities. Sometimes its good to have a friend help you because they can be more objective. As cute as Jane or Bobby is, most people get the point after about 3 - 5 pictures in a certain time frame. Organize your photos chronologically or by theme, or depending on your slideshow, both. Ask a slideshow consultant for advice An example for choosing your photos Becky is doing a slide show of her daughters graduation. She wants the photos to be from the day she was born to the day of her graduation. She goes through her photos, picks out her favorites and organizes them according to the year. Then she goes back and selects her very favorites from her favorites. Sometimes a third time is necessary, by then you will need to determine which ones MUST be in the slideshow and which ones can be omitted. 5. Choose Quality Photos This will help you in the choosing process. Ask yourself these questions: A. Is the photograph clear, not blurred or hazy? The blurring and haziness will be enhanced the more enlarged the photo is. B. How is the lighting? Too dark or washed out? C. Is the photo too grainy? Grainy photos do not scan well. D. Has the photo been cut in an odd shape? Although these work great for scrapbooking, they work poorly for slideshows. Though some photographs can be somewhat fixed and corrected the better quality you start with, the better the finished product. 6. Choose Your Captions Captions can add to the appeal of the picture for the audience to help them understand what is happening in that particular photo. They can also add to the humor or sentimental value of the video. Not every picture should have a caption; for the most part the photos should be able to speak for themselves. Your audience may not enjoy the slideshow as much with too many captions. However, in certain circumstances, such as creating a slideshow for a loved one who is away serving in the military captions can be quite effective. 7. Choose Your Music Carefully Hollywood producers will tell you that the right or wrong music can make or break a movie production. Choose the music according to the feeling you want to give your audience. Happy, sentimental, funny, nostalgic
. its all in the music. Choose music that means something to you or the person you are creating the slideshow for. Check the length of the music to the number of photos you want to use and the type of slideshow you are choosing. 8. Add Video Clips Adding short video clips to your slideshow can help break up the slideshow and 10 30 second video clips can enhance any slideshow. 9. Use Voiceovers This can add a sentimental touch to any slideshow. This can be done using a video camera, or with some digital cameras that take video. Just be sure to tell your slideshow company that you just want to use the voice, not the video. 10. View Samples, Choose Your Slide Show Company, and Place Your OrderThere are many slide show companies to choose from, so how do you know which one is right for you? Always view the online samples. If you are looking for the simple fade-in, fade-out slideshow, any slideshow company can do that. If you want the Ken Burns effect with the pan and zoom this is very nice and some slideshow companies can do that. However, to narrow your search even more look for unique and creative slideshows. Very, very few slideshows can do this. Combining the Ken Burns effects with creative elements, scenery, and backgrounds make the best slideshows. Creativity and uniqueness
key elements to any truly stunning slide show. 11. Back up your photos. Are you sending film photos? Make sure you have copies of your photos or the negatives. Sending scanned photos on disc? Make sure you have a copy. Sending videos make a copy. Slideshow companies are not responsible for what happens to your photos while in the mail. And unless you have a back-up, photos are irreplaceable. 12. Pack your photos with care. Use proper packaging material. Always place 5x7's or 8x10's between pieces of cardboard. Make sure the photos and other material is packed tightly to avoid moving around inside the box. When packaging your photos place them in Ziploc baggies. This will protect them from any possible water damage and also works great for separating your photos chronologically. You should also place your discs or videos in Ziploc baggies. And always insure your package. Although lost or damaged mail is a rare occurrence, its always best to be prepared. And always opt for priority mailing services. The less time in the mail the better. This is where your slide show company now takes over. They should be in constant communication with you and you should have a good idea when to expect your slideshow to be finished. Your slide show creators should work closely with you to help you receive the ultimate slideshow. With Sands of Time Multimedia Creations your satisfaction is guaranteed.
