A chance meeting, a strange twist of fate, lives changed As I recall, the year was 2000. I was on stage in Boulder, Colorado at Jonathan Mizel's Internet marketing blowout. You know, sometimes you just get in a zone. And that year, I reckon I was in one. Zip back in time two weeks before. I was sitting in a movie theater watching a flick on screen that initially I didn't want to see. You see, it wasn't in English and you had to read subtitles the whole movie. But everyone raved about this movie. The social proof was overwhelming. So there I sat. Eyes glued to the screen. Mesmerized. The movie was Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. And the most important part of the movie was the end. It left you breathless in more ways than one. Fast forward 2 weeks. I'm back in front of the room of Jonathan's seminar. Doing a rendition of all the stupid marketing mistakes I've made in my life. And talking about the path to becoming a marketing Ninja. Mixing that with flying through the air like they do in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Well, not exactly. When you're 6' 4 1/2", you don't exactly fly through the air. It's a speech that is now infamous. Anyway, the audience was in total stitches. Falling on the floor laughing. That was ALSO the speech in which I revealed that Sandford Wallace told me over dinner he gets his best ideas in the shower. Come to find out later, a LOT of people get their best ideas there. Anyway, in the middle of the speech, two people get up and walk out. They thought it was the worst speech they'd ever heard in their lives! For others, they sat mesmerized. I got a standing ovation for what it's worth. Later, out in the hall, I was talking to a guy. I guess you could call it a chance meeting. We chatted a bit and I told this person (I don't remember the conversation in retrospect) that all they needed was self confidence. They had all the talent they needed. I could tell this from a brief chat. He had all the talent in the world. All he needed was confidence. Later that person became a really, really well-known Internet marketing -- one of the best. His name I'm proud to say is Jim Edwards. For the record, I'm NOT taking any credit for Jim's success, other than that I was at the right place at the right time with a word of encouragement a very talented person needed. Now, what if Jim hadn't gone to the seminar? What if he'd not spent the time or the money. What if he'd not gone because "the speakers sell products and do pitches" (God forbid THAT anyone should sell anything at a marketing seminar...the GALL!) But Jim Edwards took a chance. He went. And Jim would tell you that a chance meeting and a few well-chosen words in the hall changed in his life that day. I swear Jim'd tell you that if'n you asked him. Thing is, that speech wasn't video taped. There's no record of it. You know, at seminars, often the most important things don't happen on stage. They aren't video taped. They're the people you meet. The things you hear. The things you say to others. I'm pretty much an ordinary guy. Not much different than you other than I only work about 30 minutes a day most days, depending on what you call work. I spend my time doing what I personally enjoy. Which is reading and learning. I'm not a millionaire (I don't work hard enough for that.) But I make more money than most. But I have a good life. And a good living. I have control over my fate. Freedom to do the things I want. And a few good friends I've met along the way. This is a good business. I recommend it to you. Best wishes, Marlon Sanders P.P.S. In a strange twist of fate, Jim has given me some GREAT ideas for my business. What goes around comes around. Title: The Game of Live Roulette
|
|
If you've ever been to a live casino before that offers more than just an army of slot machines, the chances are you've had a chance to witness the excitement that surrounds the live roulette wheel. Maybe you've been part of the action itself and felt the strange attraction people have to this game of chance in particular. Whether you've seen the game up close or not, though, chances are you're familiar with the wheel, it's array of black and red-framed numbers, and the little white ball that decides people's fate. Where did it come from, though, and how has the roulette wheel spent its time in existence? While there is no conclusive evidence to back up just where the roulette wheel came from, some theorize that the French mathematician Blaise Pascal invented it. This is only one theory, though its origins are most likely in France, considering the name roulette is French for "little" wheel. The first modern roulette wheel used in gambling was presented in 1796 in a casino in Paris. It traveled to the United States in the 1800's, where an extra pocket was added to bring the number up to 31. This created the two forms of roulette wheels that are around today, aptly dubbed the "American" and "European" wheels. If you want to increase your chances of winning, play on a European wheel if given the chance. Since there are only 30 pockets, it will be easier to get the one you want. Since its inception, live roulette has become one of the most popular casino games for years. In Europe, it is much more popular than other games, due to the fact that the odds of winning are much better than with other games. In America, a general love of poker, which has been on the rise, recently, beats out the popularity of roulette. Its popularity has made it a staple in casinos, and it's unlikely that the roulette wheel will go anywhere anytime soon. For a newcomer to the game of live roulette, the first point to note is that there are two main types of bets you can try on the roulette wheel. These correspond to the layout of the wheel itself. You may place an inside roulette bet, which takes into account the arrangement of numbers which run around the inside section of the roulette wheel. The second broad type of bet is known as an outside bet, which also brings into play the possibility of betting on whether the ball will land in red or black, for example. Within these two types of bet, there are lots of alternatives that a player can bid on; you can take a bet on the likelihood of the ball landing on a specific number, or on a group of numbers, or even on whether the ball will land on an even or odd number. It can be a litte bitpuzzling at first but after you get to understand the variations in bets available on both the outside and inside options, you will start to realize just how the game of roulette is played - and perhaps even place a bet yourself. Title: Property Management Software: Technology that Changes Lives
|
|
When you think of technology that changes lives you probably don’t think of property management software—at least not immediately. I myself when faced with deciding which technology makes the most difference in my own life would definitely default to my car or a washer/dryer combo. However, property management software, despite its relative anonymity, has indeed changed many lives for the better, especially landlord lives, property manager lives and the lives of those involved with property associations, etc. Even renters and unit/home owners’ lives have been changed due to the fact that renting and buying from those who use property management software is a “different—more evolved animal” than renting and buying from those who still run processes manually. Article Discussion In this article, I would like to discuss some of the benefits that property management software technology can provide. I would also like to discuss a far more “explosive” technology that has impacted the entire world with its benefits. The technology? Nuclear power. “Hmmmm????” you might say, “the two technologies don’t exactly seem related.” My answer to you my dear friendly reader is that in a general sense they really have more common ground than you might suppose. With both technologies, it seems sure that the well-deserving inhabitants of our dear planet Earth (if not all then definitely some) have saved a good amount of both time and money and who doesn’t want more of those precious commodities? What is nuclear power good for? If you think like I used to think, then you are probably assuming that nuclear power is used for creating mortal explosions that start Stalin-Era type Cold Ward scares. However, nuclear power decidedly extends beyond the horizon of weaponry and reaches out towards more peaceful applications. Thank goodness! For example, according to an interesting online source1, nuclear power is good for producing electricity. There are many ways to produce the power that keeps us warm, comfortable and surrounded by light. Using fossil fuels or hydro/wind power are both viable options2 for generating electric power. However, it would seem that nuclear power has some clear advantages over its sister authorities. Nuclear power for instance has less impact on the environment and in many cases is less expensive to “manufacture.” Why? Well, according to the same online source, “The energy in one uranium fuel pellet—the size of the tip of your little finger—is the equivalent of 17,000 cubic feet of natural gas, 1,780 pounds of coal, or 149 gallons of oil.”3 Wow! Power in a nutshell! What is property management software good for? Not all property management software options are equally comparable in terms of the features and benefits that each option provides. With the right property management software however, landlords, property managers and those involved with property associations can take advantage of some pretty impressive features and benefits. Property Management Software Features and Benefits Property management software4 can provide a sort of scheduled directional map for landlords. In other words it can tell landlords when and where there is a vacancy in an apartment, rental unit or a condo and can also help property managers keep track of upcoming vacancies. With the right property management software, landlords can also take advantage of a program that will easily calculate and/or track security deposits, rent or purchase payments and fees. With the right property management software, you can also waive any individual fees that you think are unnecessary or invalid for certain individuals. Another difficulty for landlords is finding the time and the organizational means to keep track of maintenance requests and make sure that the requests are met satisfactorily. With property management software, landlords can easily keep track of requests for maintenance and improvement.5 With the right software, landlords can also take advantage of an in-system email application. This email application can be used to send information to leasers or renters. Property management software can also be used by managers of property and those who are involved with an association of units or homes. What are the similarities between these two helpful technologies? The similarities between the technology that changes nuclear power to electricity and the technology that streamlines many landlord processes simply lie in the fact that each of these two technologies saves people time and money. Nuclear power that is generated into electricity saves people time that they don’t have to spend lighting fires or candles and money that people don’t have to spend on more time consuming and human labor intensive tasks like using coal or other sources to generate electricity. The property management software saves landlords time that they might have spent hiring apartment complex managers or simply doing the administrative tasks themselves. Property management software also saves them money that they would have used to pay managers for the time that they used to spend performing routine and monotonous tasks. 1 http://www.nei.org/index.asp?catnum=2&catid=106 2 http://library.thinkquest.org/5217/produce.htm 3 http://www.nei.org/index.asp?catnum=2&catid=106 4 http://www.buildium.com/Whats_New/Whats_New.shtml 5 http://www.buildium.com/Landlord_Software/Landlord_Edition.shtml#trackRequests About the Author: Marci Crane is a web content specialist for ,a href="http://innuity.com/page/19t5d/Home.html">Innuity /a> . The dictionary defines the word fate as, "The supposed force, principle, or power that predetermines events," and "the inevitable events predestined by this force." It also says, "An event (or a course of events) that will inevitably happen in the future: the ultimate agency that predetermines the course of events." There are many phrases that talk about fate, like, "Don't tempt fate," or, "That was a twist of fate," or, "She deserves a better fate," or, "That will certainly seal his fate." In Greek mythology, "The Fates" were three goddesses who controlled human destiny! I say, "No thank you!" Fate is also described and referred to in other ways, like, "Well that was just meant to be", meaning that it was going to happen and that it was supposed to happen, and so that's why it happened. If you follow that logic you end up with the conclusion that whatever happens was meant to happen. But doesn't that take away all personal responsibility for your actions? Yes it does, and that's the point. Suppose I decide to have a sandwich for lunch. Is that fate? Was it meant to be? As I eat that sandwich, am I to think that eating this sandwich right now is what was supposed to have happened? Some would say, "Yes." But what if I took the bread out to make the sandwich, and then stopped and said, "Wait a minute - I think I'll have a salad instead." But the bread is already out and sitting there! Wasn't I meant to have a sandwich? Which one was meant to be, the sandwich or the salad? There are some who would say that I was meant to get the bread out first, and then I was meant to change and go with the salad. For those who think like that, everything is just meant to be. The problem with that kind of thinking and rationale is that it eliminates free will. It also eliminates any and all responsibility for your actions. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. No one is destined to be successful or destined to be a failure. Far too many people accept that their lives are dictated by fate. They say things like, "This is my lot in life; these are the cards that I've been dealt; I'm just a victim of circumstances and fate; this is all I can really expect in life." To all of that I say, "No, no, no!" How can a child of the Creator of the universe go through life accepting things as they are, thinking that he cannot change them and just accepting that this is the way things are supposed to be? Have you ever considered that if your "fate is sealed," you have no free will?! If you have no free will then it really doesn't matter what you do, good or bad, because it is not your fault. It's what was supposed to have happened. Are we all just robots? The Creator gave each and every one of us free will to choose. Each one of us can decide what we want to believe and what we want to do. And, with His help, there's really no limit to what we can accomplish. If anything is really "meant to be," it is that God wants us successful and blessed with the life that we have to live. He has lovingly provided all that we need. But, he also gave us free will to choose. If we want to, we can accept "fate," or, we can choose to believe to have a great life. You are in life today where you are because of what you have believed and accepted as true. You can change your circumstances by changing your thinking. You can choose to focus on the things that you do desire instead of settling for the way things are now. The only other choice is to accept fate. If you accept fate, well then, good luck. You'll need it! ------------------------ Michael A. Verdicchio is a husband, father, minister, and broadcaster. He has been the voice on numerous productions over the years. Title: How To Plan a Successful Business Meeting
|
|
It can take just as much time and preparation to arrange a successful business meeting as to plan all the 'business' to be covered within the meeting itself. And if one thing hasn't changed in the realm of business over the years, it's a sense of timeliness, precision, and utmost professionalism. How can you ensure that your next business meeting goes over flawlessly? By keeping a few very basic directives in mind... No matter what the anticipated size of your meeting is, you'll need a thought out strategy to ensure everything unfolds smoothly. Before you even begin to implement a plan, it's always a good idea to make sure all the specifics are laid out and organized - keeping in mind that you'll need to consider the fundamentals, as well as any small but important details which might become an issue throughout the scope of your event. After you've addressed basics like the date, location, and budget for your meeting, you can begin to fine tune your plans with a focus on particulars such as any equipment required for your event, transportation, or specifics concerning accommodation. Once you've designed a strategy for how your meeting will take place, you can begin applying your resources to carry out your plan. It's always wise to double check your arrangements, reservations, orders and appointments to make certain everything runs accordingly, down to the coffee - which, of course, they'll all thank you for. Finally, take advantage of all the resources available to you when it comes to planning an event. Hotels can often help you prepare for corporate and business meetings, making necessary arrangements for everything from accommodation for attendees, to meeting rooms and meals. Wherever your meeting is to take place, you can be sure to find a number of hotels which would be happy to host your event. Some can even provide you with a comprehensive checklist to make sure you don't leave any of the essentials out. Don't allow the planning process of a business meeting to drain you before you even make it to your event. Plan ahead, weigh up all your options, and if possible seek the advice of someone who has planned a business meeting before. With all things considered, you'll find there's nothing quite like a breezy business meeting to kick off those heels or loosen that necktie.

Title: VoIP - Competing Providers need to Come Together
|
|
Voice of IP (VoIP) has changed the telecommunications playing field, but not only in the ways that we expected. We knew that national and international call costs would reduce, we knew that Telkom would not be happy with this, we knew that the line between voice and data provider would become blurred and we knew that it would get very competitive out there. What we didn’t expect was that existing and potential VoIP providers would need to work together. It appears that, in an ironic twist of fate, the success of this technology relies on interconnects between networks – networks owned by competing providers. The reason is simple – cost. Once a call is ‘on-net’, meaning that it starts and ends as a VoIP call, it never has to enter the traditional phone network, and this makes each call incredibly cost effective – one might even say – it’s a negligible cost. Currently, on-net calls in South African can only happen between the customers on a single VoIP service provider’s network or between the branch offices of a single company. To increase the opportunity for on-net calls, interconnect agreements between different VoIP providers need to be created. By removing the need to switch the phone call over the PSTN, VoIP service providers will be removing the most uncompetitive elements of a call – the cost of a local phone call. The cost of bandwidth will unfortunately remain a factor until the long awaited SNO and the opening up of international circuits into South Africa put downward pressure on prices. The challenge is to create and implement these interconnect agreements between traditionally competing network providers. Thankfully, the motivations behind these partnerships are in each provider’s self interest. The first is that if the VoIP community doesn’t work together to create a virtual über network, Telkom will always have the lion’s share of the phone bill. The second is that unless VoIP providers can significantly lower the barriers to entry for smaller businesses VoIP will remain technology for the larger enterprise only. Let’s hope that these two money based motivators are enough to off set the competitive spirit the telecommunications community is known for. The long term success of VoIP requires that there are no proprietary standards, no exclusive interconnect hegemonies and minimal bullying of smaller players through dominant market position. The rewards for working together are tangible – the VoIP market will increase, the dependence on the PSTN will diminish and everyone’s – client and service provider – bottom line will grow. Trust is an intrinsic requirement for all business agreements – the less trust, the more lawyers required to draft a longer legal contract. While we expect that initially there will be some large and complex legal documents being emailed between service providers we believe that this idea of an interconnect-driven national network can and should be a reality. We are certainly working towards it. VoIP can cut a substantial chunk off your company's monthly telecoms bill. Storm Telecommunications are a reputable telecoms company that ensures ease of connectivity, ease of use and easy integration of VoIP with all your other telecommunications requirements. Their superior technological backbone ensures high voice quality and complete reliability: these are important considerations if you're using VoIP for business purposes.

Title: Tease Her to Please Her - part 2
|
|
Remember, Tease to Please works because it short-circuits her usual defense mechanisms to meeting 'strange' men. You see, every woman comes with her factory-installed defense mechanism against meeting new guys. When a guy approaches her, for any reason, she assumes you're picking up on her. It's what she's gotten used to. All women are by now, and they all have a standard routine of being a little stand-offish to you until you bust past this barrier. Let's continue: Remember when you were just an eight-year-old kid on the playground? There were all these 'strange' creatures playing around the sandbox. They were called girls, and they seemed so bizarre and foreign to you. They were delicate and interesting in a way that you couldn't quite explain, but you knew that they were different. How do kids treat those that are different? They tease them. "Mary, Mary, she's so hairy!" "Where'd you get that backpack? Looks like a hunchback!" "Jenny's got a CARROT top!" Boys teased girls. Girls teased boys. Everyone made fun of everyone else. It was sandlot politics at its best, and you learned very quickly that you had to develop a callus to the teasing, or you'd get bruised pretty badly. (Some kids never adjusted, and grew up with their own sandbox issues.) Ah, what fun those days were. Well, sort of. We learned some very primitive social interactions there, but the principles still held for many of us. (Hey, whether or not you like it, we're a lot closer to those kids in the playground than the adults you think we are. Everyone is still a little kid inside.) I'll be willing to bet you that you teased more girls because you liked them than you did because of any genuine weirdness. Sure, there's some cruelty, but the first social interaction most boys have with girls is when they teased them mercilessly. And what happened? The girls stuck up for themselves. They teased back. And they didn't realize it at the time, but this set in motion a whole pattern of behavior that led to them being very interested and attracted when they are CHALLENGED. That's right, boys. Teasing is all about raising the stakes of challenge to her, and letting her know that you don't get all mushy inside when you get near a girl. No confidence = no attraction from her. Tease to Please is a simple strategy. By teasing, you emulate a lot of the self-confidence you need to demonstrate with a woman. That's really the secret in a nutshell. Call it what you want, Cocky and funny, confident and humorous, Tease to Please. You are showing her you have the balls to not roll over and pant like a whipped dog every time a woman comes near you. Here's how you do it: When we left off, you'd just delivered your introduction. Now you are in a position to continue the conversation as you see fit. You've disarmed her natural defenses and opened up your opportunity to engage her attraction mechanism. You do this through Teasing. Here's one of the examples we used last time: Example: She's got bright red shoes on. YOU: "Wow, those are ... interesting shoes. My sister might like a pair like that. Where'd you get them...?" HER: "Oh, these? Uhm, I got them at Macy's. They're really old. I was looking to get a new pair." YOU: "Well, my sister is pretty young, but she'd like that style. For an OLD lady ... (PAUSE) ... you're a pretty sharp dresser." You give her a SLIGHT smile that says "That was a joke." Remember, "sister" can be changed to aunt, or cousin, or whatever. You can use my standard response I gave you for now, but you'll do better if you learn how to think on your feet and come up with more personal and customized versions. There are a whole host of teasing responses. Here are some others (delivered with that sly smile): "Well, with heels that high, you better watch out for awnings. And low-flying planes." "How many feet have you crushed with those things? I'm wearing steel-toes, so don't try it on me." Let's say it's about a ring she's wearing: "Well, my sister likes those 'groovy' rings, too. Do you have a mood ring? I bet you were the kind of girl to wear one of those. Was it blue all the time? You look like you have cold hands." "My sister likes toe rings like that. Do you wear them on your toes, too? Just don't tell me you have a weird piercing, like your butt-cheek. That would just be TOO freaky." "Wow, that thing is HUGE. I bet you have to leave it off when you go swimming, huh? Or else you'd sink right to the bottom." It goes on and on. In fact, you could sit down and just think up a handful of these for a few different items of clothing (shoes, purse, jacket) and/or jewelry and be set for almost ANY encounter. Doesn't it feel great to know that you can now control your meetings and increase your ratios? No, no, please, hold your applause... Remember: Don't be insulting. Be TEASING. Teasing is done with a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor. You kid with her. If you make fun of her in a mean or malicious way, you're out. If you don't let her know you're kidding, you're out. The point of all this is to: A) Get her laughing B) Challenge her (by demonstrating Self-confidence and that you're DIFFERENT.) After you joke with her a little, make a decision if this is a woman you might be interested in. If so, you smile and start to walk away. Then, turn right back and TELL her (don't ask): "Hey, you know, we might like to continue this conversation sometime. Write down your number for me." (Memorize this phrasing to use.) An alternate approach: "Hey, you know, I might like to continue this conversation sometime. Write down your email address for me." If she says she doesn't have a pen, you DO, and hand it to her. If she says she doesn't have email, tease her some more: "No email? You didn't just get off a desert island did you?" Smile. "Here, just give me your home phone." (As she starts writing): "Uhm, your REAL number. I'm just going to call you as soon as I get home and leave a dozen annoying messages on your answering machine." Smile. Take her number and leave. Don't tell her you'll call. Leave her wondering. That's it. You disarm her defenses by keeping a sense of humor. You show self confidence and challenge her by teasing a little. Then you ask for what you want, and then you leave. You're a busy guy, with a busy schedule of too many women to meet. This completes your education on the Tease to Please approach. Now, as I said before, for such an invaluable and easy to use technique (given to you FREE, I'll add) the least you can do is to start putting it to use. I want to hear from guys who go out and start getting some action from the use of this. 'Cause I'll guarantee you one thing: You will get more responsiveness from women with this simple approach than ANY other tactic. More response = more practice. More practice = more dates. More dates = more sex. Or more relationships, or whatever it is you want. It all starts here. Get more women in your life. THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS. Let's hear from those out there who are ready to stop doing what doesn't work and start learning to improve their odds. Write to me. Tell me what you did and how it worked. (But remember, if all you're going to do is try to shoot holes at it without having tried, I'm going to cut you to shreds... This stuff WORKS. :) Give me your best shot.

Title: The Secret - When You Can Walk On Water , Take The Boat ( Part 10 )
|
|
I sat glued to the wooden bench. I had known that he was strange, but not this strange. I never really took him too seriously before, but now he was dead serious. On occasion, I did wonder how he knew things about me and my work that I hadn’t told him. I’d heard about such people before. I had also not discounted the possibility of meeting one, in fact, I had hoped that I would someday. Yet, when one sits next to you on a park bench, your initial reaction is to run away—and as fast as possible. But sitting there with him,I actually felt an aura of tremendous power around him and thought I should probably give this encounter a bit more serious consideration. “You speak as if you’re from another world,Gideon. You also seem to have strange abilities and powers. Why are you spending so much time with me?What do you want from me?” “My abilities are no stranger than yours or anyone else’s. They may appear strange to you because you do not understand them. When you understand natural law, nothing is strange, nothing is a miracle. I have been around helping others for ages. Or better yet, throughout time. There is an old earth saying that goes, ‘When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.’ You’re ready, so here I am.” “Who? Me, a student? I wasn’t looking for a teacher. I’ve had my share of teachers and don’t want to take any more exams. As it is these days, I am already being tested to the limit. Teachers and students imply tests.” “So you think you’ve learned everything and have no further need for teachers? If you're so brilliant, how come your financial empire is falling apart? Listen. All of life is an examination, a learning and testing experience, if you will. You examine and test yourself constantly. A little help now and then wouldn’t hurt, you know. There are things I still can teach you. No, let me rephrase. There are things I could lead you to learn. Things I could help you to remember.” Part of me really wanted to believe him. The other part was the scientific, analytical part, which was very cautious. That part said that he was crazy. And yet,I’ve seen few men who appeared to be more sane than he. “Show me something a small miracle or so, and I’ll believe what you’re saying.” “Believe and I’ll show you. You have things reversed, John. I see we have a lot of work to do.” In a quick change of direction,I asked, “Where’s your car? Where are you parked?” “There are many other ways of traveling. I don’t really need a car.” Again he was lying, I thought. The first time I met him, he was in a car. As if reading my thoughts, he said, “When you saw me the first time, I did have a vehicle. I needed something to get your attention. So the car, the engine problem, the lifted hood. . . all props, all effects for your sake. You wouldn’t have stopped to talk with me any other way.” All this in such a short time was becoming too much for me to absorb. As I mentioned earlier, it had always been my desire to meet someone like him. In books and dreams I had come across some, but here and now in a park in this small town? This was an entirely different matter. And why did he pick me?He still hadn’t answered that to my satisfaction.I was quiet for a few moments. Gideon continued, “I have known you for eons, for millennia. You are a challenge to me. One part of you accepts these ideas totally and with full understanding. Then there is the other part of you that sees only with eyes and hears only with ears. That part tries to analyze, rationalize and compromise. You are a man of many parts, Mr. H.” Gideon’s reference to knowing me for ages was a surprise, but I had read about such things before and chose not to pursue it at this point. Not being in a big hurry to return to the office, I thought that I’d listen to a little more of what he had to say. He spoke of seeing with the inner eye and of hearing with the inner ear. That all life forms were connected to one another by invisible ties. That the universe was like a spider’s web, where thought or action in one area affected the entire fabric.I listened, fascinated by the new possibilitieshe brought to my mind. Finally, he said, “It was good seeing you again, John. We will continue our discussion at a later date. Meanwhile, keep an open mind. I bid you a fond adieu.” I looked at him and then at my watch. When I glanced up again, he was gone. It couldn't have been more than a second later yet, he was nowhere to be seen. Perhaps I had fallen asleep on the park bench and dreamed it all. But no! A few yards away was an apple core he had left for the birds. It was time to return to the more mundane aspects of life, so I got up and walked back to the office. Title: Soul Mates: Discovering Yours
|
|
Namaste, a Hindu expression, roughly translates into "that which is of the Divine in me greets that which is of the Divine in you." And when we reflect on this simple expression, we find that the Sanskrit language of the soul resonates with us all on a deeper, more spiritual level -- and this is how, too, many a soul can reacquaint itself with its identical counterpart.
Believe it or not, our intuition plays an essential role in discovering exactly who our soul mates are. Throughout our lifetimes, we have certainly come upon an individual to whom we're inclined. Suddenly, you feel this sense of "knowing" -- though you've never met that person before. And, it is in that "chance meeting" that we discover how much alike we are. The "chance meeting," however, is no accident; a matter of fact, it is not by chance at all. There are no "accidents" in life. Remember, every encounter and every facet of our lives is laid out for us to explore -- including the journey in finding our soul mates.
Whether or not one believes in the possibility of reincarnation, it is important to note that each of us has at one time or another met an individual to whom we've been drawn like a magnet. Accordingly, our mutual bond helps us to rediscover the life light in each other. Perhaps in a not-too-distant past, we shared experiences and/or love, and that is what has drawn us together. There are NO accidents in these "chance encounters."
But how do you discover your soul mate? That depends entirely on how evolved you are on a spiritual plane. Euphoric love is such a heightened state of emotional awareness that one could liken this feeling to the ultimate high. And when we have opened ourselves up to invite another into our sacred space of love, we often discover the vast similarities of our likes and dislikes...but that is simply not enough to awaken our soul mate experience. One must resolve to live in an absolute state of awareness, unlike "euphoric love," but that of Divine love to reignite the passion and discovery of one's soul mate.
You see, the difference between a state of euphoria and a relaxed state of heightened awareness is that our sense of heightened awareness is what essentially gives us the innate ability to "see" who are twin soul mate is; not like euphoria -- the beginning stage of infatuation, which can sometimes blind us from the truth of the matter.
So here we are, another Valentine's Day, and we still haven't discovered our soul mate -- don't be discouraged. Many travelers haven't found their soul mate because they've been all-consumed by either euphoria or emotional blockages. But don't despair; there is a way to rediscover your twin flame in the vast expanse that we call Earth: First, we must throw out all preconceptions and misconception of what love is supposed to be. There are no perfect physical unions, but there can be perfect spiritual unions. And when we resolve to love others with absolute love, we discover a whole new realm of life.
If you haven't honed in on your inner wisdom, now is the time to do so. Now ask yourself, "Am I looking for love?" or "Am I seeking my soul mate?" Which of the two do you desire most? If you've decided on the latter and truly want to reunite your soul mates, then you must nurture your inner consciousness. Awaken your mind through meditation, peaceful reflection and gear up for the expedition of your life. If you are intended to meet your soul mate, you will. The intention, however, must coexist in both your mental and emotional being. To achieve this state of awareness, you must be focused on your anticipated result.
How do you know if you've met your soul mate? Like two small embers, sparks will ignite an inferno of emotions. You will be flooded with a sense of "knowingness" on a very soul-full level. This is not euphoria, rather, a very intense state of emotional, mental, and spiritual unity that transcends the normalcy of physical love. The nicest part of this soul mate reunion is that once you have received it, it remains steadfast in your life. The flames can never be distinguished.
Are you ready to explore and fulfill your destiny with your soul mate? All things are possible through God -- and yes, even finding your soul mate is one of those possibilities. Understand that like all goals in life, the quest for finding our soul mate takes effort and patience. Enlighten yourself by reigniting your life light...the rest will come in time.

The popularity of the World Wide Web has changed the way we lead our lives. It has not only changed the way we communicate, we work, we buy and we travel, it has also changed the way commercial dealings and financial exchanges take place. The internet has become the world’s largest and busiest market in a very short time, with millions and millions of financial transactions taking place online everyday. Facilitating these transactions are companies that deal with digital currencies or e-money like E-Gold , Pecunix, WMZ, WMR and Liberty Reserve etcetera.
Online transactions are being substituted for real life exchanges not only in the case of e- commerce and business to business payments but also for making charitable donations, point of service sales, bill payments, salaries and other personal exchanges. Internet based e-money services nowadays do not just offer convenience and speed; they are also turning out to be more sound and secure than real money exchanges. On the other hand, internet transactions are also known to cost less than what real life exchanges cost.
One of the most popular and secure e-currency systems is the E-Gold system, which is a web based money transaction service. E-Gold is a popular method of sending and keeping money because whatever amount you deposit with E-Gold is saved with the company’s owners in the form of real gold bullions. Whenever the customer wants to transfer money through E-Gold , the ownership of the gold in possession of the company changes, such that the receiver of value now has gold equal to the value paid to him or her in the company’s gold reserves. The system is popular because it is free from the risks associated with the changing values of national currencies, which keep increasing and decreasing quite fast. On the other hand the company’s policy of keeping complete gold back-ups, which can be checked by a customer or user at any point of time, ensures that the system is risk free and transparent.
However, E-Gold does not perform any currency exchange services and as a member of E-Gold , you might have found a number of times when making transactions that you need to convert your E-Gold currency into another web based currency like Pecunix, WMZ, E-bullion, Web Money or Liberty Reserve. In such cases, you invariably need to engage the services of an e-currency exchange service. There are a large number of good e-currency exchange services available online, but many of them end up taking a considerable amount of your money as exchange services. Therefore, it is important that you select a service provider who not only gives you prompt and reliable service, but also provides value for money.
Globoxchange.com is one of the oldest and most reliable exchange services on the internet. The company deals with almost all major e-currencies like E-Gold , Pecunix, WebMoney and Liberty Reserve. The company also has enough surplus reserves which ensure that your transactions are carried out quickly without much waiting. Globoxchange.com provides exchange services at cheaper rates than most other exchange services. On top of this, the web site also offers discounts on its transactions and the larger your transaction amount, the larger will be the amount of discount that you can avail. So the next time you need to exchange your E-Gold currency into another web currency like the Pecunix, WMZ, WMR, Liberty Reserve or WebMoney then you can definitely give the website a visit.

Title: What Not To Do If Your Partner Leaves You And You Want Another Chance
|
|
As a therapist, I regularly counsel with men and women who are suffering with a broken heart. They tearfully plead their sincerity. Unfortunately, their fear often takes the lead of their focus and they switch to merely trying to figure out the formula or combination to get their partners to take them back again. They would rather get their own way versus doing the right thing. Be mature. Be consistent. Follow this advice.
1. Don't Rally the Troops. This means don't go around and talk with all of your partner's friends, family, co-workers and worst of all, your religious leader. Men are especially prone to do this. This is a form of emotional manipulation based on guilt and shame and tends to only push your partner further away.
2. Don't Fish For Reassurance. This no-no is a search for a ray of hope from the words "I love you too". Don't bait your partner with the proclamation "I love you". This forces them to respond with "I love you too" which they don't want to say. They may not give any response, which really hurts.
3. Don't Repeatedly Ask Your Partner To Come Back To You. Each time you ask you are usually setting your chances back for another week.
4. Don't Call. Don't Drive By. Don't Show Up At Their Work. Exercise a lot of restraint. This is very hard but it is crucial.
5. Don't Try To Figure This Out By Yourself. Get a therapist or an equivalent to help you process your feelings and to develop the best approach. Telling everyone the business of your relationship will only undermine your goal and most likely make you look stupid.
6. Don't Try To Be A Detective. Snooping around is a violation of their personal space. Don't go through their dressers, their e-mail, or their car. Just because they aren't feeling close to you doesn't mean that there is someone else.
7. Don't Send Your Best Friend As Your Ambassador. This approach works better than you going but you have to consider that you are only trying to gain leverage versus respecting their need for space and time.
8. Don't Try To Make Them Jealous. If you do this you are playing games and not seriously making an effort to hear the needs of your partner. You're also playing with other people's emotions.
9. Don't Talk Bad About Your Partner. Saying negative things about your partner or trying to get people to side with you by telling your partner's faults or private matters is unforgivable.
10. Don't Display Temper Tantrums. A lot of people use aggression to get their way but this reinforces your partner's notion of why they left in the first place.
11. Don't Use Children As Pawns. Children are effective tools to play with your partner's heart. However, this does damage to the children and your partner will grow to hate you. Stop trying to get your way and begin doing the right thing.
12. Don't Be Inconsistent.
