Our mind works in 2 modes, the Conscious and Subconscious mode. Our subconscious mind is much more powerful than our conscious minds. It influences the conscious mind, how we think and our belief. If the subconscious mind is positive, it will influence the conscious mind to be positive and vice versa. Like an Iceberg, our conscious mind is the tip of the iceberg, which our subconscious mind is the huge base underneath the water. It is many times larger and stronger than the conscious mind.

Our mind is the source of all actions that we take. Imagine if you have a subconscious mind that is dominated by negative thoughts, you behavior will tend to be negative and actions taken by you will tend to gear towards, avoiding a negative consequence. Instead of creating and expanding, a negative subconscious mind will limit your ability to see beyond the current situation and limit your course of actions and hence the results. Usually people who are negative, when their action did not provide the result or met a temporary setback, they will tend to give up easily.

In the other hand for with a positive subconscious mind, one will have the ability to tap on his creativity and achieve better results. The course of actions taken is gearing towards creating and expanding, not for avoiding. People with positive mindset will view any setback as a temporary inconvenience. They will be more persistent in overcoming any obstacle.

In order to be successful, to be a Winner in everything that we do, we have to “program” our subconscious mind to be positive.

The 4 things that you must do to be successful:

1. Read books and articles of successful people. Learn to think like them. The more you read on such subject, the more positive information you subconscious mind will receive and register. Listening to audio contents or watching videos are also good way to program your subconscious mind

2. Read technical subject that are related to your field of trade. If you are in business, read about other successful businesses within or outside your trade. Use them as case studies, and through more in-depth analysis of the businesses, it will help enhance your creativity.

3. Force your mind to think positive when you feel negative. One way is to keep a “Mind Balance Sheet”. For example when you are in a situation that lead you to feel negative, write down in points form the negative things that you are experiencing. Then for every negative point, force yourself to write down a positive point. By going through this exercise, it will help to bring your subconscious mind back to positive thinking. You will be surprise, your creativity will start to kick in and help you to resolve the negative situation.

4. Safe guard your subconscious mind, as though it is your Gold Mine. In fact it is your Gold Mine. Stay away from people that are negative. Those people who tend to complain and whine are going to infect your mind. They are like the Computer Virus that is going to damage your subconscious mind. Only mix with people that are positive.

Robert G Allen, New York Times Bestseller Author and Investor, mentioned in one of his e-Book – The Road To Wealth, the 11 Wealth Secrets. The first Wealth Secret mentioned that,” You rarely have a money problem. You have an attitude problem. Those who are go-getter with the right attitude cannot be denied.” This shows how important having a right mindset is.

How to be successful in Life?

Lila Jirel 2007-10-10
Title: How to be successful in Life?
Being successful means different hings for different people according to their positions, age, status and many things. There is no guaranteed and scientific tips or formula for a person to be successful in life. But things may change drastically if you consider something that are important and also you can apply them easily in your life. I regularly write post on this blog about how to be successful in life in general and in this post also I am writing about some tips to lead you to the path of success.

1. Give time for yourself: It is very much important for you to give at least 5 minutes a day to think about yourself; what do you want to be in life, what are your plus points, what things you should have to change to go to the forward direction so that you wouldn't have to face a big problem in the future, how can you achieve your goal etc.

2. Set your goal: Although it is believed that you can do anything in life if you tried, this concept may not be true in some case. For example, if you are a simple businessman with your own small business and you are saying that you would be as much rich as Bill Gates in one year, then this is quite impossible and impractical. Rather you should set this target a long term one for term or more years and definitely you may do that. This is not impossible. So set your goal according to your capacity and situation. Give a definite suitable time period to chase that target and work accordingly. So that you will not face any big trouble and can complete your work in given time. After setting your time be focused to your goal .

3. Believe in yourself: It always depend on yourself whether you will be successful or not. If you think that you are capable to get that target and should do that then certainly you can do that. No one or nothing will stop you from being winner. Develop strategies which make you more aware of yourself and what you are capable of achieving, if you believe in yourself and what you are capable of achieving then you are more likely to be successful in whatever you do.

4. Work according to the situation: If you feel some problem while doing your work to your goal then it will be better for you to change that style or place if it hampers with your target or even life in some case. A change could mean changing your outlook on life, your outlook on yourself, your priorities or your activities, you have no one else to blame but yourself and only you have the power to change.

5. Be positive Always do things you are doing positively. This adds more energy in you to do that work. Try to calculate positive and negative side of the thing you are doing. If there are some problems in near future, then be ready to solve that. Enjoy with what you are doing whatever smaller or bigger the work you are doing may be.

Success Factors

Russell Brunson 2006-04-25
Title: Success Factors
What is the difference between successful people on non-successful people? Are successful people more intelligent or do they just have better opportunities than non-successful people? I heard Brian Tracy say, "Only Difference between successful people and non successful people is this: "Everybody thinks about what they want, but successful people think about what they want, and HOW to get it!" The most important things is the HOW. The only way I ever accomplish anything is to figure out what it is I want, then how I am going to get it. Ever since wrestling, my life has been driven by goals and what I want in life, the only way I ever achieve anything is by laying out a plan and working on that plan until I accomplish it. Another way to look at it is to start backwards, think of the house you want to live in, the cars you want to drive, the lifestyle you want your family to live. You have to lay out a game plan to get their, it is not going to miracously show up on your door step someday. This means each day of your life you need to be doing at least one thing that will help you accomplish that goal. I love how Robert Kiyosaki explains this concept in his book "Rich Dad Poor Dad": "Because I had two influential fathers, I learned from both of them. I had to think about each dad's advice, and in doing so, I gained valuable insight into the power and effect of one's thoughts on one's life. For example, one dad had a habit of saying, "I can't afford it." The other dad forbade those words to be used. He insisted I say, "How can I afford it?" One is a statement, and the other is a question. One lets you off the hook, and the other forces you to think. My soon-to-be-rich dad would explain that by automatically saying the words "I can't afford it," your brain stops working. By asking the question "How can I afford it?" your brain is put to work. He did not mean buy everything you wanted. He was fanatical about exercising your mind, the most powerful computer in the world. "My brain gets stronger every day because I exercise it. The stronger it gets, the more money I can make." He believed that automatically saying "I can't afford it" was a sign of mental laziness." So remember, the question isn't what you want… It's HOW are you going to get it?

The Two Main Factors For Success In A Network Marketing Home Based Business

binoy 2008-03-13
Title: The Two Main Factors For Success In A Network Marketing Home Based Business
People are a strange lot. People that are successful are often the biggest encouragers of others to help them also be successful. While unsuccessful or mediocre people usually discourage others from being successful. Mediocre people will say things like don’t waste your time, or those things don’t work. A large part of this negative attitude is because very few people want to see someone do better than themselves. It’s like if they can’t be successful they don’t want their friends being successful.

That is not what people need in a world of underachievers. In reality the Bill Gates' of the world should not be considered as super achievers, but as people simply reaching their potential in life.

Most everybody in life has the ability to really excel in one or more areas, but the overwhelming majority are born, and then die having never come close to achieving what they had the potential to accomplish.

Food for Thought: Why is it that the more someone achieves after they reach a certain point the more people will jump on their bandwagon to cheer them on to greater heights? Nowhere is this more evident than the professional athlete, who can be argued has reached one of the top spots in his/her field. A rare breed indeed those fans will cheer for, in effect encouraging them to do even more. At least until the athlete starts performing below standard at which point they are often booed. It’s a funny fickle world we live in.

So what does this often do with a home business and network marketing? A good question and quite frankly the answer is something most people miss and as a result aren’t as successful as they could be.

There are I believe two main factors for success in a network marketing home business. Simply this:

First can the person be made to see it or get it. This is like trying to describe a first kiss to someone who hasn’t experienced it. But once you experience it for the first time you know it. But the best way to describe this is like a light bulb going off in your head, or one of those moments in school when you struggled to understand a math problem and then one day in a flash in came to you and you got it. Or an ah-ha! Moment! A person must be made to see that he or she has a unique opportunity to do very well with a particular product or company. At that point their success is almost guaranteed, as they will move heaven and earth to get what they want.

However, if they never get to that point it’s like a death sentence of failure.

The second critical thing to success is encouragement. In a world that so often tries to tear down people and discourage them from achieving their dreams and goals it is very important to encourage and root for those people in your home based network marketing business. Many of these people are too often downtrodden and discouraged from life and they would greatly benefit from someone rooting them on to the finish line.

You’ll get more than a paycheck, you’ll get the satisfaction of helping someone greatly improve their life.

The 7 Habits Of Highly Successful Authors

Suzanne Harrison 2007-12-21
Title: The 7 Habits Of Highly Successful Authors
The more I read how the successful authors do it, the more I realize that, like successful people in all walks of life, they all do things in common that contribute enormously to their success. So how can we learn from successful authors to ensure our own success in 2008 and beyond?

We can start by adopting what I call “The 7 Habits of Highly Successful Authors”. Adopt these 7 habits and you just may find that 2008 is the year you break through your own writing barriers!

1. Write about something you care about.

Whether you are writing fiction or non fiction, it is imperative you write about something you care about. The successful authors have some emotional connection to their content or story. If you are writing fiction, then write from a place of emotional familiarity. Your genuine experience will come through in your writing and your readers will connect with that. If you are writing a non fiction piece, choose a topic you are passionate or enthusiastic about. After all, if you are going to invest your precious time in what you are writing, you owe it to yourself to write with passion, feeling and enthusiasm.

2. Take risks

Don’t be afraid to put your head, or your hands, on the chopping block when you write. In the world of fiction, you will have no doubt heard about creating characters that are “larger than life”. That doesn’t mean they are giants, it means they go above and beyond and take risks and make decisions that we would not have the courage to take in our own lives. After all, it’s not about what we would do when we are tethered by the restrictions of polite behavior, it’s what we would do in our wildest imaginations that make our readers sit up and take notice.

For the non fiction writer, it’s time for you to take a stand. Take a view and stick with it, presenting your case with conviction and vigor. No one listens to someone who writes meekly, or with a wishy washy hand. Stick your neck out, and don’t be afraid to get it chopped off. All the greatest journalists are the ones who are not afraid to speak their minds. Get into that habit and you’re well on your way to being that next great journalist.

3. Plan

This is definitely the most ignored but equally the most important phase of the writing process. Planning is essential to the success of any undertaking and writing is no different. J.K. Rowling spent 5 years planning the entire Harry Potter series before she put pen to paper on a single word that appeared in the books. If you are writing a short story, novel or screenplay, planning the story before you begin writing is as essential to your success as ink in your pen or power to your laptop. There are some writers who claim to just start with an image or a sentence and then the whole thing just unfolds before them, but the writers who can do this with any degree of success are few and far between. Take the time to plan out your story, at the very least know where your beginning, middle and end are. The more planning you do, the more enjoyable the writing process and the less rewriting and editing you will have to do. The same goes for non fiction pieces, where it’s always advisable to have an outline in place before you write your article or book.

4. Write every day

Joyce Carol Oates said that she would write, even when her soul felt as thin as a playing card, because somehow the act of writing would set it aright. There are going to be times when you just “don’t feel like it”, but like any other job or activity that is important to you, you must still, somehow, sit down every day and write. It has been said that it is by sitting down every day to write that one becomes a writer. Stephen King writes every day, including Christmas Day. Whether you are working on a book, story, article or nothing, still sit down and write something every single day. Even if you only write one page every day, that’s 365 pages in a year and that’s a whole book, isn’t it? When you are a writer, you cannot not write, and writing is like breathing. You have an urge to put things down in print, so to keep that fresh and alive, you need to turn that tap on every day. It’s more than practice. It’s life.

5. Be prepared to work hard

I read somewhere once that John Grisham worked for 4 hours per day and made $20 million per year. Whether that is true or not (about the hours worked or the money he makes) doesn’t matter. It is far more common to hear tales today of the world’s most popular commercial authors working their proverbial butts off to keep up with deadlines, promotional commitments and the ins and outs of their everyday lives. Janet Evanovich gets up and writes every morning at 5am so she can get a full day’s writing in before she has to answer mail, emails and deal with her other affairs of business, Jodi Picoult has a wonderful stay-at-home husband who allows her the luxury of writing through school pick ups and travelling for long periods to do research for her novels. J.K. Rowling also said she (misguidedly) thought that life as an author would be a Jane Austen-type of affair, sitting in a room overlooking a field and writing in anonymity. Of course her life is a whirlwind of book launches, movie premieres, media commitments, school commitments, and of course she has a family with three children. And while we all no doubt wish we had her “problems” it is very obvious that in the early part of the 21st century, the life of an author, successful or not, is a hard-working life. We are either working hard to get noticed, working hard to stay noticed, or working hard to avoid being noticed. Any way you look at it, if you have an aversion to hard work, you need to look elsewhere. Successful authors work hard. Period.

6. Persistence

It is said that persistence outstrips all other virtues. I have a card propped up on my desk that says, “Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go”. Almost every successful author I have studied has said that their success is due, at least in some part, to pure persistence and determination. If your manuscript or article is rejected, rewrite it and submit it again. Or submit it to someone else. The first Harry Potter novel was rejected by every major publishing house before Bloomsbury picked it up for a song. Even so called “overnight successes” have a story behind them about how many times they were rejected, or how many novels or articles they’ve written that have no value other than as fire kindling. The authors that succeed are the ones who don’t stop until they do. It’s that simple. Never give up. Winners never quit, and quitters never win.

7. Let it go

And finally when you have written your article, book or screenplay and have submitted it for publication or approval, let it go. If you’ve done the best you can with it, let it go and trust that it will make its way to where it needs to be. And start something else straight away. Regardless of whether what you have submitted is accepted or rejected, you are a writer and a writer writes. Once you finish one manuscript start immediately on another. If the one you’ve sent is picked up, they’ll be happy that you’ve got something new already, and if not you’re well on your way to finishing your next manuscript.

So those are the 7 Habits of Highly Successful Authors. Adopt these habits yourself, and before you know it, you too will join their ranks!

Feel Success, Live Success, Have Success

David Fishman 2007-03-15
Title: Feel Success, Live Success, Have Success
You can start right now and be successful? When you try to focus on the positive things in life you start to see more positive things. You need feeling, believing and positively and successfully, start reading books about positive thinking and being successful. Everyday you need to think and act successful, by doing this you will feel and become successful.

Remind yourself that you are close to starting everything from the beginning again. Get yourself a hobby anything that takes your mind off the world for a while will help increase your love of life and help you relax, eliminate stress, and enjoy peace. Without pushing yourself you will never become successful or have the ability to become successful.

Keep your plan with you at all times and read it aloud to yourself several times during the day. By allowing yourself the time, and I’m talking about just a few minutes here, to stop, breathe deeply and relax effectively, you can soon reap the rewards. To become successful you need to place your mind in state of happiness and positive thinking, by doing this you attract positive people and by attracting positive people you will attract successful people who will help with your success.

Here is your key to success. Passion is the key to meaningful achievement in any calling.

To answer this riddle, first you have to separate the behavior from the positive intention of the behavior. If we have a thought or we are depressed and we don’t like this we can easily get rid of this negativity or negative thought by thinking of a positive thought, by feeling the positive thought with our emotions we are able to switch the universe to switch to the more positive thought and the outcome is more acceptable to you. If you change your behavior and your purposes, your life position is not as it used to be any more.

Any formula based on behavior patterns has a good chance of being successful.

It’s important to commit your goals to paper, so write them down and display your goals where you will see them each day. Break down larger long-term goals into monthly or weekly goals so you can stay on track without feeling overwhelmed. Writing your goals will effectively enable you to put them into action.

What is it that’s in it for you that will drive you to pursue the goals that you have defined. Be very specific about your goals. Only when there is a specific goal can you develop an effective strategy.

Einstein says that “imagination is the glimpse into the future” Every human who imagined and dreamed was able to bring this dream into reality by believing that it was real already. When you believe the universe has the ability to understand that this is not a dream but reality and the universe realigns to make it happen.

9 Needs In Bodybuilding

naveen kumar 2006-08-23
Title: 9 Needs In Bodybuilding
o be a bodybuilder or even better, a good or successful bodybuilder you require certain things to have and do to get the best gains and carry on going right through your career and be successful. Below are 10 needs in Bodybuilding in order to be successful. These won't be saying you must do a certain exercise to do or a supplement to take. These 10 things everyone needs to be the best they possibly can.

1. Dedication: "Dedication is the Key" a very true saying in bodybuilding. Dedication is like the backbone for bodybuilders. Without dedication you wont succeed and can't keep yourself going through each rep, set, show, diet or lifestyle. Dedication must be there u need to be dedicated to the game if you want to play it. If you not dedicated your as good as dead.

2. Patience: Now this is hard. You train 5 long hard days one week and dont see much happening on your body but be patient and time will take its toll. Especially in a cutting period. If you want to be cut you need a low body fat. So first you need to get your body fat down then start the cutting phase. This will take time and you need the patience. Patience is also needed in most aspects of bodybuilding. Be Patient and be Perfect after all the hard work.

3.Good Form: What's the point in playing soccer if you can't kick a ball or what's the point in playing tennis if you have no hand-eye co-ordination? The same type of question can be asked about bodybuilding. What's the point of bodybuilding if you don't lift properly or with bad form? Good Form is require to see any gains. Moderate weight, slow reps, 8-12 reps. Heavy weight, slow reps, 4-8 reps. This is good form working the muscle hard at all times. Slow and controlled reps = Good Form.

4. Goals: Goals are by you to aim at. Just like darts the goal is treble 20 and basketball the goal is the basket. See or set the goal/target, work your way towards it and score by hitting hit or reaching it. Simple. The goals you want to set are short term goals like getting to a certain weight or body fat within a month or 2. Set your goal and go get it !!

5. Motivation: Every so often you get bored, go off form or just feel down. Motivation helps get over it. It's a booster, but you always want to be motivated so you are always boosted and always do your best. Motivation will push you that little extra. For motivation buy posters, listen to music, go to shows or read magazines. There are lots of options. Dedication + Motivation = a boost of confidence which makes you strive to be the best you can.

6. Healthy Diet/Nutrition: The weight training part of bodybuilding is like the engine of a car. As you get a bigger engine the better the car gets. However for the engine to run it needs petrol (gas as you call it in the states). Just the same as bodybuilding we need food for us to function and get energy. Our food needs to be healthy though. Our food intake plays an important factor in our bodybuilding lifestyle. A healthy balanced diet is required for maximum gains. Find out about nutrition around bodybuilding.com there's loads.

Info on steroids.

7. Rest: You need to rest to let your muscles grow. Your muscles don't grow in the gym they grow while you are asleep. Resting also allows you to recover properly. In order to recover properly and allow your muscles to grow many suggest 8 hours+ of sleep.

8. Learn: No matter how qualified you think you are you will never know everything about bodybuilding. There is so much to learn. So much you will learn al of your bodybuilding years. I am always learning. You will learn all the time too. You will find out what you are doing right and wrong. New supplements are always being introduced too. I have no idea about the stuff that's in all these supplements and everyone bangs on about them and to me it's all bullshit but they sound like they know what they are sayin'.

9. Enjoy It: You need to enjoy bodybuilding if you want to be the best you can be. Enjoy it in the gym, enjoy the food and enjoy the contests if you choose to enter. If you don't enjoy this lifestyle you wont be dedicated, inspired or motivated. You will hold yourself back saying I can't be bothered. Look at all successful bodybuilders, they train hard, eat right and enjoy it. That's why they are the best at what they do. If you enjoy it then you can be the best you possibly can be too.

7 Things Not To Do If You Want To Be Successful

Garry Munro 2005-11-18
Title: 7 Things Not To Do If You Want To Be Successful

So you want to be successful but no matter what you do it just doesn’t seem to happen, then I offer you the following 7 things you don’t do if you want to be successful:

Don’t #1: Stop “winging” it and jumping from one project to the next. (The key to success is planning).

Don’t #2: Avoid being limited by logic, advice from friends and waiting for the right time.

(What is logically today is a myth tomorrow. If your friends are successful then listen, but, still make you’re own decision, if they’re not successful then why take advice from a “loser”. The right time is always now).

Don’t #3: Being half-hearted about your goals and dreams will only bring you half-hearted results. (Approach everything with Passion, if the passion is not there then you’ll not achieve).

Don’t #4: Doing many things at once loses focus and the drive to succeed. (Go for your main goal with the focus of a laser beam and watch the results quickly appear).

Don’t #5: Stop procrastinating. (Start NOW, nothing beats action, even making a mistake is far better then doing nothing at all!).

Don’t #6: Trying to do everything yourself can be a time waster and a sure way of hitting dead ends. (Seek out people who have achieved what you want to achieve and ask their advice and help).

Don’t #7: If you’re not totally committed to the end result, don’t start. (Be a 110% committed to finishing regardless of the “pain” along the way).

After reading this article, I hope you can now avoid making the mistakes that may have been holding you back, remember, to succeed, you need passion, a plan, clear focus and above all, you must take action, as nothing happens until you make it happen!

Change Your Life In 5 Minutes - The Steps To Success

Chuck Hoskins 2008-03-04
Title: Change Your Life In 5 Minutes - The Steps To Success

Successful people make habits of certain things. Things they do unconsciously. Generally they don't think too much about "being successful". They are too busy doing the things that make them successful. If you study these habits and attributes, and make them part of your daily life, and learn what habits to avoid you can duplicate their success. When you are ready to start you home business, you really need to know what habits to develop, and which ones to stay away from.

What follows are the reasons that top business owners have identified as the reasons that people fail at home businesses. See if you can identify any of these traits in yourself and make the change toward a success oriented behavior.

The first reason for failure is starting and proceeding tentatively. You either want to do this or you don't. You cannot go into something that you intend to succeed at thinking well, we'll see what happens. If that's your attitude, just spend your money on lottery tickets. You'll have a better chance of winning.

If you speak with successful people, the vast majority of them will tell you that their achievements were made with hard work, commitment, determination and an attitude of persistence. We all know the stories of people who just got lucky". But frankly, those stories are few and far between. Successful people make their luck. Its amazing how much luckier you can become when you work diligently at something.

If you are serious about having a home business then your commitment, your money and your time can certainly improve your "luck". Leverage your strengths, make a commitment to what you are going to accomplish and then watch your luck improve.

The second reason for failure is that most people spend their time doing things that don't really move them forward toward their goals. It can be difficult to work at home. There are multiple distractions and it is easy to get off track and spend all your time doing busy work, and not productive work. Its important to organize your office, to have things in order, return messages, and handle the mail. But it doesn't directly make your business more successful.

In order to advance toward your goals, you need to do the things that bring in clients and put money in your pocket. Get up more adwords campaigns and advertising, draft letters for your email autoresponder, do those things you know you need to do to bring more traffic to your website.

If your spending all your time doing busy work, you feel like your getting something done. You probably are getting something done, and there is nothing wrong with that. You just have to realize that what your doing isn't bringing in any money, and it is not getting you closer to your goal.

So the second habit to develop is to understand what kind of work your doing. If your spending 100% of your time doing busy work, then you need to adjust your day so that the majority of your time is spent on income generating, business producing activities. Make that change, and your business will immediately begin to become more successful.

The third failure is one of diminishing excitement. When you first start a business, your excited. You cant wait to work on it. You spend your time planning dreaming and working toward your goals. After a few weeks, or months, the excitement wanes. You haven't made much money, and as the frustration and excitement wear off, the doubt begins to creep in. Your feeling of excitement turns to thoughts that you might have made a bad decision. It is in this moment, that the successful are separated from the average. You must stay laser focused on your goals and your business.

The thing about an internet business is that it doesn't take much money to get into. You may, over a few months invest a few hundred dollars in various software and other things to make your job easier. But in the end, the small investment works against you from a commitment stand point. It makes it much easier to throw in the towel. Without the financial commitment and with growing doubts replacing your enthusiasm you may feel that this is the perfect time to quit. Don't keep thinking that the grass is greener on the other side.

You picked your business for a reason. And picking a new one won't make things better because the one thing you keep bringing to every business you do, is you. You can be successful if you make that commitment, and stick with it. Eventually the things that you need to do to become successful at the business you are already in will become second nature.

The fourth reason for failure is not accepting personal responsibility. Your failure is no one else's fault. That;s right, I said it. You are the only one responsible for your success or failure. Likewise, there is no one else that can take credit for you success. You are the master of your fate. This is a trait of successful people. They accept responsibility for their mistakes. People who fail have the tendency to blame others.

So develop the habit of accepting responsibility for your business, your decisions, and the achievement of your goals. Its a habit that will serve you well in your quest for success.

The fifth reason people fail is that they have not specifically set out what they want to achieve, and they have no roadmap to get their. Imagine getting into your car with only the plan of going to the "town of success". You have no idea where this town is, but you feel like it is far away. You have no map, no directions or guidance of any kind. People that do this actually do have a plan. Their plan is to drive around aimlessly and see if they can find their goal. What kind of a program is that? How much time will it take? Will they even find the town? How much quicker would it be if they had a map, or directions. The map gives them the ability to go directly to their goal. Having a plan also gives you some control over you time.

We lead busy lives. The bills have to be paid, the kids have to get to school, the dog has to be walked, our home, our family, our job. And on top of all of that, we try to squeeze in time to run a business. Amid all the distractions, we try to figure out what to do next. Having a written plan makes this process less thought intensive. If you know exactly what has to be done, you can proceed through it with determination, and the knowledge that you are achieving something for your business.

There are several things that you need to know in order to organize your time properly. If you don't have a plan in place, the following suggestions will help you get started:

1. You need to know how much time you can give your business. This should be written down so you have a work schedule.

Title: Change Your Life In 5 Minutes

Successful people make habits of certain things. Things they do unconsciously. Generally they don't think too much about "being successful". They are too busy doing the things that make them successful. If you study these habits and attributes, and make them part of your daily life, and learn what habits to avoid - you can duplicate their success.

You cannot go into something that you intend to succeed at thinking "well, we'll see what happens". If that's your attitude, just spend your money on lottery tickets. You'll have a better chance of winning.

If you speak with successful people, the vast majority of them will tell you that their achievements were made with hard work, commitment, determination and an attitude of persistence. We all know the stories of people who "just got lucky". But frankly, those are few and far between. Successful people make their own "luck". It's amazing how much luckier you can become when you work diligently at something.

If you are serious about having a home business then your commitment, your money and your time are the factors that matter. Leverage your strengths, make a commitment to what you are going to accomplish and then watch your "luck" improve.

The second reason for failure is that most people spend their time doing things that don't really move them forward toward their goals. It can be difficult to work at home. There are multiple distractions and it is easy to get off track and spend all your time doing busy work, and not productive work. It's important to organize your office, to have things in order, return messages, and handle the mail. But it doesn't directly make your business more successful.

In order to advance toward your goals, you need to do the things that bring in clients and put money in your pocket. Get up more adwords campaigns and advertising, draft letters for your email auto-responder, do those things you know you need to do to bring more traffic to your website.

If you're spending all your time doing busy work, you feel like your getting something done. You probably are getting something done, and there is nothing wrong with that. You just have to realize that what you are doing isn't bringing in any money, and it is not getting you closer to your goal.
