"When someone has a strong intuitive connection, Buddhism suggests that it's because of karma, some past connection". Richard Gere

Richard Gere is so right on! He understands that when you develop your sensory acuity through practical spiritual applications, you become aware of energy that exists throughout time and space. You then have the ability to discover blocks that may be holding you back from creating the life you want.

Please take a moment to check out how the questions below relate to your life:

* Do you control your life?
* Do you hold any past resentments?
* Do you believe in fate or destiny?
* Do you think it's too late to make a difference?
* Can you appreciate your past, good and bad?
* What is the biggest lesson you've learned?
* Are you willing to do things differently?

By taking the following 3 steps, you will begin to clear blockages from your past (that may include past lives if relevant for your spiritual growth).

Step 1: Understanding Energy
In our day to day life, we experience energy as people, clothes, cars, houses, jobs, pets, food, etc.

We also experience energy as good and bad, beautiful and ugly, heavy and light, loud and quiet, etc.

Energy in it's raw essence is abstract. You may wonder how I manage to communicate with people who have passed over? Or how I can see your probable future?

The way I am able to see and obtain information is because I understand energy and I look at energy from an additional perspective. You can do it to.

Step 2: Feel The Energy
Now read from the beginning of Step 1 again. Before you do, close your eyes and take three deep breaths into your body.

Absorb the energy of the words written above.

This is what you need to know.

* People and objects are light and sound constantly moving in our universe.

* 90% of what you do is at an unconscious level. You operate on auto-pilot. Often you are unknowingly scared to feel emotions, to let energy run through you.

* When you block feeling, you trap energy in your aura. This then weighs you down and can lead to tiredness, anxiety, sadness, frustration and depression.

Step 3: Observe Your Energy
It takes time to truly understand and master your energy. And to get the results you want, I suggest a daily 5 minutes commitment to check in with yourself at a pure energetic level.

You don't have to do anything! You awareness will create change.

Seeing the structure of your energy will help you to understand how your past influences your present.

You can observe your energy through the use of your six senses: Seeing, Hearing, Feeling, Knowing, Smell and Taste

Throughout your day, apply one of the above techniques to understand yourself better. When you do, you'll create the life you want.

You can run, but you cannot hide

Elsabe Smit 2008-03-11
Title: You can run, but you cannot hide
We like to flippantly refer to good karma and bad karma, but is there any truth in karma? What is karma? Can I change my karma?

My search for answers to these questions has provided me with interesting information. For example, I have always thought of karma as Buddhism or something that is unique to Buddhism. Since I am not an expert on this philosophy, I have kind of left it there.

But important things tend to come back to us time and again (karma?), and my curiosity was stimulated to the extent that I did some reading about Buddhism and karma. And guess what? I discovered that the same concept is expressed in many diverse sources, including Buddhist texts.

The Buddha said "I am the owner of my karma . I inherit my karma. I am born of my karma. I am related to my karma. I live supported by my karma. Whatever karma I create, whether good or evil, that I shall inherit."

There is also the Golden Rule where Confucius argues that the central principle of ethics is to do what you would want to have done to yourself: ‘”Tzu-kung asked, "Is there one word which may serve as a rule of practice for all one's life?" The Master said, "Is not reciprocity such a word? What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others."'

The Bible carries the same message in verses such as "All things whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12) and “Cast your bread upon the waters, for after many days you will find it again” (Eccl 1-1) and “A person reaps what he sows” (Gal. 6:7)

Kahlil Gibran says “The selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears.”

There is even scientific proof of this in Newton’s Third law, which states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

So how do we make sense of all this in our daily lives? How do we ward off bad karma and attract good karma? The answer seems fairly simple. I found this anonymous quote: Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch your habits, for they become character. Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.

So that is fairly easy. All we need to do is watch our thoughts, and the rest will fall into place. Yea, right. We all know that is not so easy – especially when we have anywhere between 33 and 38 thoughts per minute. And those of us who have done meditation know how must effort is required to clear our minds. Even then, we are aware that our minds are clear for a split second, and that in itself is a thought, isn’t it?

Are there other ways to change our karma?

Buddhism refers to the four powers of purification. The first one is to always think of any sentient beings that we may have hurt, so that we can develop our own compassion. The next power is to recognise our past actions that were unwise. There is no need to beat ourselves up about anything we have done – that is water under the bridge. It is far more important to simply acknowledge our actions, and once we are aware of these actions, to honestly promise not to repeat these actions again. This is a promise to yourself, and therefore far more serious than a promise to the rest of the world. It is also far more powerful than to be told by someone that you should not do something again, because you come to this realisation yourself. The fourth power is practise. This relates to repeating anything that helps you in your resolve to not repeat unwise actions.

Dr John Demartini tells the story of how he spent much time as a young boy weeding an area in the garden, and thinking that he was doing something good. One day a neighbour told him that he will spend the rest of his life weeding the garden if he does not plant flowers in the garden as well.

When things happen to us that we do not enjoy, we can throw our hands in the air and say that is bad karma and therefore inescapable, and do nothing more. If we understand that, as Newton’s law says, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, we can use the opportunity to counteract the karma from previous lives that we do not enjoy. That to me seems to be the way to restore the balance. Rather than passively accepting less enjoyable experiences, we need to understand that we have to achieve balance in our lives by creating joy for ourselves.

We may not see the results immediately, because this balance seems to cover more than one life. This is where we just have to trust and focus on actions that can only bring good karma.

But what if we do not believe in re-incarnation, and we focus on this life as the only one? Well, what damage can be done if you spend this life focusing on actions that can only bring good karma? It has got to come back to you as a good experience.

Confucius, Jesus, Khalil Gibran, the Buddha and Isaac Newton each said in their own unique way that whatever you do, you do in the first place to yourself.

I have to remind myself of this the next time I read in the newspaper about some brilliant political scheme that can only fail, and not get irritated, but rather find my own way of making the world a better place.

Karma Isn''t Punishment & You Can''t Have Karma Without Reincarnation

Scott Petullo 2008-01-19
Title: Karma Isn''t Punishment & You Can''t Have Karma Without Reincarnation
The concept of karma is often misunderstood. It's not about punishment. That would imply there's a judging God and we don't believe that, nor do other experts in the field, such as Brad Steiger, Richard Sutphen, Dr. Ian Stevenson, Dr. Raymond Moody, Dr. Leo R. Sprinkle, and numerous others.

Whenever you feel that something in your life is unfair, keep asking why until you perceive the situation more clearly and understand the root reasons. Not the surface reasons, but the deeper and past life reasons; what started it all. Keep asking, and meditate on why.

For example, a family member refuses to respect your basic human rights, to the point of blatant abuse on a consistent basis. You forgive her, you express tolerance, but she still continues, frequently disturbing your peace of mind and tossing in additional challenge in your already demanding daily routine.

Why? You think to yourself that you’ve never treated anyone this way in your life (this one, at least), and that you can’t imagine acting that way to her or anyone else. However, know that one’s personality in this life is not the same as personalities in prior lives. A “saint” in this life could very well have been the opposite in prior lives, before learning the value of honesty and respecting others, for example.

Initially you get zero insight about the matter, but then impressions slowly start to form through meditation. You intuit that it could be one, or both, of two different notions: you dished out a similar challenge to her in previous lives and, or you agreed to this circumstance before incarnating to help you develop your level of compassion and acceptance. Does this awareness make it go away? No, but it allows you to further understand the matter and therefore garner more forgiveness, for yourself and others.

It's not about what happened to you, it's about why. When you understand why you (yes you, on a soul, not personality level) chose to experience the situations, conditions and the lessons involved, it becomes much easier to handle. With awareness comes compassion, and compassion leads to forgiveness. Taking full responsibility for all circumstances in your life and forgiving yourself and others will set you free.

Gay Marriage - Karma, Past Lives, Spirituality, Numerology, and Astrology

Scott Petullo 2008-01-19
Title: Gay Marriage - Karma, Past Lives, Spirituality, Numerology, and Astrology
Since the right to marry is denied to homosexual couples, according to the concept of karma, they may have denied equal rights to others in past lives. However, karma doesn't always work that simply; there could be other reasons their unions aren't legally recognized. For example, a gay person's soul may have chosen to be in a position to stand up for his or her rights and help progress human consciousness in doing so.

Homosexuals are using their free will, within the confines of their destinies, to acquire equal civil rights, including the right to get married. We'll have to wait and see if gay marriage is destined to be legal.

Regarding the love timing of homosexuals compared to heterosexuals, there is no difference. Everyone goes through their own unique time cycles, some wonderful for romantic involvement, some not so wonderful. Does the denial of the right to marry show up in a gay person's charts? No, it doesn't. However, denial of financial benefits or other rights (such as with the case of the death of a partner) would clearly be seen in the charts. Significant loss of collective net worth (involving inheritance/estate taxes, etc.) and the absence of other related benefits (those afforded to heterosexual married couples) greatly hindering standard of living are the types of challenging circumstances most definitely reflected in comprehensive numerology and astrology analyses.

According to human rights advocates, the issue of gay marriage is a civil rights issue and since gay couples are denied benefits that straight married couples enjoy, they are being discriminated against. Gay and civil rights advocates say proposed constitutional amendments go well beyond the DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act, signed by President Clinton in 1996) and marks a new level of discrimination.

Never has an amendment been passed to deny the rights of Americans. It seems reasonable to think that all those who put energy into passing this amendment would incur some negative karma in relation to human rights. Consequently, if this amendment passes (unlikely according to many political experts) this country (via its’ leaders and public support of those leaders) would also undoubtedly adopt some negative karma. Under this philosophy, it’s possible to envision a country far in the future, populated with the same characters, that is denied rewards and prosperity from a more powerful entity as a karmic backlash.

Since it's perfectly legal in America to be gay and in a committed relationship, denying the right to marry to homosexuals may eventually be seen by all as the same as racial or religious discrimination. Discrimination in any way, shape or form ultimately has everything to do with intolerance.

Speaking of intolerance, religious leaders like Jerry Falwell have rigorously campaigned in America to permanently deny marriage and all the legal benefits (over 500 in all) to homosexuals who want a legal marital commitment. A few years ago, Falwell was interviewed on a national TV news show about the topic of gay marriage. His primary arguments against it were, “...it's against Christian tenants...” and “...if we open the door to gay marriage in this country, we'll have to deal with polygamy and bestiality too.” Falwell may be creating a date with destiny in a future lifetime where he is denied his basic human rights...in the name of religion.

Maybe it's best to accept the resistance towards equality and fairness and see it as part of the necessary alignment of energies. Polarity is integral to our universe. There can't be cops without criminals and there can't be light without darkness. Everyone appears to be fulfilling their earthly mission, no matter how disrespectful, selfish, or intolerant they may seem. The best everyone can do is to compassionately and peacefully stand up for what they believe in and their basic human rights.

Hypnosis and NLP - 10 Steps To Release Your Past Trauma

Pradeep Aggarwal 2007-06-02
Title: Hypnosis and NLP - 10 Steps To Release Your Past Trauma
As you read this hypnosis and NLP article, you will capable enough to release your past trauma, which was disturbing you in present and also affecting your future.

I will tell you about one of my clients Mrs. Angelina Joseph who was a complete house-wife, a perfect mother and a compatible mate. But there was something that was disturbing her, she was a calm and confident person by nature but this thing could make her go crazy and wild.

The thing was her traumatic past. While she was of 16 years of age, she was abused for sex by her cousin brother and this incident has certainly changed her life. Although the incident happened many years ago but her subconscious mind could not forget that incident and it kept her disturbing many years. This past trauma could not let her enjoy her present life and spoiling the future too.

She could not discuss that incident with anyone but she could not live comfortably also. A confident and calm person as I told you became the victim of her traumatic past. She came to me. I consoled her and promised to help her. I conducted the hypnosis session and believe me, when she came to me again; she was free of her past trauma.

The following is the hypnosis and NLP exercise that helped Angelina to get freedom from her past trauma:

1. Past Trauma: Now think about your past trauma that disturbs and makes you restless. Recall that traumatic experience once again before going into hypnosis session.

2. Relaxation stage: Sit in a calm and comfortable place with your eyes closed. Make sure that no one disturbs you. Let no thought and no feeling disturbs you.

3. Breathing: Now just concentrate on your breathing and relax. Feel your breathing. As you breathe, exhale all your tensions and inhale comfort, calmness and happiness. 4. Movie Theater: Now, in your mind’s eyes, imagine that you are sitting in front row of a large movie theater. See the still picture of yourself on the movie screen before the trauma actually happened. Feel the comfort. You are in the calm, comfortable and relaxed state.

5. Leave body: Now leave your body at the front row of the screen and you float up in to the projection booth, so that you can watch yourself watching the movie on the screen. Stay in this projection booth until you are asked to leave it.

6. Watch the movie: Now play the movie very very fast in black and white and with no sound. Watch the movie playing fast forwardly so that when it plays, it leaves no emotional effect on you.

7. Run the movie backward: Now come out from the projection booth, pick up your body and step into the movie. Make the movie very very colorful and with sound. Rewind the movie fastly.

8. Repetition: Repeat this hypnotic exercise at least 3 times.

9. Checking: Now this is one of the important steps of your hypnosis session. Here you will have to check whether the trauma has gone and are you free from your past trauma. To check this, think about that past trauma once again and notice your response. If the trauma is gone, it’s perfect but if still some what is remaining, repeat this exercise for 2 more times.

10. Awakening stage: Now, you have successfully done all your hypnosis session to release your past trauma. Now, count from 1 to 5, with every count come back to your original state and begin to feel the sounds, atmosphere and situation around you and by the count of 5 open your eyes, feeling light, refreshed and relived. Congrats your hypnosis session to release your past trauma has been successfully completed.

With this hypnosis and NLP technique, Angelina got relief from her past trauma. She was more lively towards life, more enthusiastic and more passionate than ever before.

This hypnosis session to release past trauma can be used to get rid of any of your past trauma may be fear of heights or any guilt feeling. It is advisable to repeat this hypnosis session two or three times for the perfect neutral feeling towards your trauma.

So, do not let your past trauma spoil your present and future, just let your pasts go away with hypnosis…

Why Karma Does NOT Exist

JK Ellis 2006-12-03
Title: Why Karma Does NOT Exist
There is nothing so interesting as toppling icons and the windmill I want to tilt at today is Karma.

Karma is the "cosmic bitch slap" born of the belief that all of the universe is cause and effect.

Another factor that influences people to believe in Karma is they find it almost impossible to justify why bad things happen to good people and why bad people seem to be the ones who get rich, get laid and get even.

Add to the mix an upbringing of fear and guilt and just about anyone will find themselves longing for a universe in which karma is the rule like it were a life raft for our sanity.

The fact is that with all of that behind us Karma is the glue we use to not go crazy and admit what seems to obvious:

* Some people do get away with murder. * Some children suffer for no reason. * The guys who go after what they want, sometimes at the cost of others, often are the ones who get rich, get laid and get even.

As an exercise in mental flexibility (and some would say blasphemy) let's examine the Karma Myth with a very critical eye. If this makes you too uncomfortable you're encouraged to stop reading ant try to forget anything that is written here.

Argument 1 - Time

Among the questions I want to pose are "Is ALL the universe limited to cause and effect?"

The answer on one level is yes. On another level the answer is not so clear. Why? Because cause and effect is a result of the awareness of time (i.e., cause is followed by effect) and none of that can make sense when time is removed from the equation.

A clearer picture of this argument emerges when we recognize that time itself is perceived only by the nervous system and the nervous system is a result of having a body. Absent of the body and nervous system there is no ability to perceive time. Without time there is no more cause and effect and

it is possible to experience everything as a single event.

On this "higher" perception absent the creation of time and therefore cause and effect and the concept of Karma is completely absent.

Argument 2 - Good and Evil

The belief in Good and Evil is a central support pillar for the Karma Myth. If someone does something that we judge as bad we want to know that we are compensated by them "having bad karma". Of course this does not address the fact that they believe they are doing good and that they will be rewarded for their good acts with good Karma.

The absolute of Good and Evil we find is much more subjective than we want to believe.

Argument 3 - The Origin

Just because you read it in a book or heard it from your parents or religious leader does not make it true... unless of course you have been trained to never question authority.

Argument 4 - Benefits

As much as one MIGHT think that believing in Karma is good there are reasons that believing the opposite is just as good. Shocking thought, isn't it, but who likes to be motivated by fear to do the "right" thing?

Argument 5 - The Intention

Why would someone create Karma? One reason is to control people to do the right thing out of fear. There are other reasons if you think about them.

Argument 6 - Counter Evidence

As much as you hear about the bad guys that get caught how many never get caught? Some? Many? Most?

On that note bad things happen to good people and bad people often prosper. We fall back on the invisible Karma as a way of hoping that things end up right.

So what does a person do without the "Karma crutch" to guide their actions?

The answers are many.

* One could as as if Karma were real to guide their actions.

* One could do whatever they damn well want to do.

* One could do whatever they damn well want but do it with the awareness that a portion of their life *is* living in the cause and effect world and if they do something illegal it is likely to have some consequences. This does not prove the existence of Karma just the need to do some good planning.

The absence of Karma could be liberating or a burden. It can liberate one to live free of guilt and fear but it can burden one with REAL responsibility; the responsibility to be 100% in control of their life.

Karma - how to make it work for you!

Michael McGrath 2006-08-04
Title: Karma - how to make it work for you!
I am sure you have heard the song "Karma Chameleon" by Culture Club but have you ever given much thought to its meaning? While on Earth, you are living in a world of reincarnation which is governed by the law of karma. Karma begins to propel you as Soul on a personal journey through the universe. Karma ends when you have reached enlightenment and fully realise that this physical reality and the Universe itself is just an illusion. When you reach a state of knowingness that there is but One all pervading essence and that essence or consciousness is You!

So what is Karma and how does it work? While in the illusion you have a soul. This soul lives past, present, and future lives. To grow in love, joy, and awareness, you reincarnate into a series of physical bodies to experience different existences. This road leads to the experiences of being both sexes, all races, religions, and ethnic types throughout many lifetimes.

Karma in its simplicist terms can be described by the biblical statement "as you sow, so also shall you reap". Karma is the principle of cause and effect, action and reaction, total cosmic justice and personal responsibility. It brings 'good' experiences as well as 'bad' - a debt must be repaid and a blessing rewarded.

A more indepth esoteric look at karma gives us the following distinctions: Sanchita Karma: the accumulated result of all your actions from all your past lifetimes. This is your total cosmic debt. Every moment of every day either you are adding to it or you are reducing this cosmic debt. Prarabdha Karma: the portion of your "sanchita" karma being worked on in the present life. If you work down your agreed upon debt in this lifetime, then more past debts surface to be worked on. Agami Karma: the portion of actions in the present life that add to your "sanchita" karma. If you fail to work off your debt, then more debts are added to "sanchita" karma and are sent to future lives. Kriyamana Karma: daily, instant karma created in this life that is worked off immediately. These are debts that are created and worked off - ie. you do wrong, you get caught and you spend time in jail.

As a soul, you experience a constant cycle of births and deaths with a series of bodies for the purpose of experiencing this illusionary world gaining spiritual insights into your own true nature until the totality of all experiences show you Who you really are - the I AM! Until you have learned, you will find that pretending that the rules of karma do not exist or trying to escape the consequences of your actions is futile.

Although it may often "feel" like punishment, the purpose of karma is to teach not to punish. Often the way we learn is to endure the same type of suffering that we have inflicted on others and also rexperience circumstances until we learn to change our thinking and attitudes.

We are all here to learn lessons as spiritual beings in human form. These lessons are designed to help us grow into greater levels of love, joy, and awareness. They teach us our true nature of love. Where we do not choose love, show forgiveness, teach tolerance, or display compassion, karma intervenes to put us back on the path of these lessons. Quite simply, the only way to achieve a state of karmic balance is to be love.

Before you incarnated into your present personality, you agreed to put yourself in the path of all that is you need to learn. Once you got here, you agreed to forget this. Karma is impersonal and has the same effect for everyone. It is completely fair in its workings and it is predictable - "do onto others as you would have them do unto you" is a way to ensure peace and tranquillity in your own life as well as the lives of those you come into contact with. The law of karma is predictable - "as you sow, so shall you reap" what is done to you is the net result of what you have done to others!

Karma gives you the opportunity at every moment to become a better person than you are and to open up to the realization that you are the master of your own fate.

The goal of karma is to give you all the experiences that you need to evolve into greater levels of love, joy, awareness, and responsibility. Karma teaches that you are totally responsible for the circumstances of your life. They keep you on the straight and narrow until you have mastered your vehicle and can ride freely on your own. Once you understand that you are the master of your own circumstances and that everything you experience is a direct result of your past actions due to your thinking and emotional responses you can overcome its seeming negative effects by creating only 'good' karma.

Karma forces us to look beyond ourselves (oneness) so that we can see ourselves as we truly are Whole, Complete, at One with everything. Once we truly understand ourselves, we can see our divinity and our unity with all life.

Karma drives us to service. Love means service. Once you accept total responsibility for your life, you see yourself as a soul in service to God. Once you do, you become a fully realized being, allowing God to experience the illusion through you.

Belief in karma and an understanding of its workings will lead you to a life of bliss. Only your own deeds can hinder you. Until the time comes when we release ourselves from our own self-imposed shackles of limitation and fully understand who and what we are we will live under the mantle of karma. So until that day why not create some wonderful experiences for ourselves by "doing onto others, as we would have them do unto us".

Karma versus Meditation

Dr. Roberto A. Bonomi 2006-05-29
Title: Karma versus Meditation
The Karma lives with us, the karma is part of our lives from the very moment of our birth to the moment of our death, because every time that we do something and even every time that we stop doing something, that generates karma, and you cannot avoid it in any way.

Of course that not all the karma that we generate is the same, there is a kind of karma that ties us or chains us to this life, and another kind of karma that liberates us of the reincarnation cycle.

The karma that chains us, known as Vishayakarma, has as fruits the misery and the lack of interior peace, while the karma generated by good actions or disinterested actions, know as the Sreyokarma allow us to reach the prosperity and the happiness of the soul, that it is much more than reaching the simple external happiness.

Every time that we face an activity with the desire of obtaining a certain result, this throws us into the arms of the desire, the greed and the ego demons, while only the pure actions that we do for love without taking into account the possible consequences of them, are the kind of actions that drive us little by little toward the illumination and the liberation.

That ones whose nature allows them to carry out this kind of unselfish activities, little by little realize that God provides them of all that they need and of all that confers them the interior peace. Another form of achieving the yearned interior peace is the meditation.

Perhaps you might ask yourself why? Why is the meditation so necessary?

Because the man always acts in two dimensions, the external dimension governed by the physical senses, and the internal dimension governed by the intelligence and the mind.

The internal conscience cannot move for itself, but rather needs the guide of the intelligence and the mind, that are the ones related with the external world, they are as the oxen that pull a carriage. These oxen are anxious to begin to walk, but to take us to the correct destination they should be educated, they should be indicated which is the route that takes us to the place to which wants to arrive the internal conscience. And these are the roads of the Truth, the Rightness, the Peace and the Love.

Then to liberate us from the enslaving karma, it is necessary to teach the intelligence and mind's oxen the art of dragging the carriage of the internal conscience, and this is achieved by means of the practices of the meditation and the repetition of the name of God.

And the conscience, to be able to guide the oxen of the intelligence and the mind, must calm and control the conflicting desires that infest the mind, and this is achieved when we learn how to point our mind to a single direction.

When thanks to the meditation, the bewildered mind dives in the view and repetition of the name of the Lord, the Divine Splendor able to burn the wrong and to illuminate the happiness is manifested.

It is easy to understand the benefits of the meditation. Anyone that undertakes a task, knows that only when he concentrates his efforts toward a single point, he can achieve the desired success. Even the most insignificant tasks require concentration, and the power of an unshakable effort is so big, that even the worst difficulties surrender to it.

When we practice the meditation in the Supreme Being, the mind learns how to retire its attention from the material objects, and the life acquires a new splendor when we get aware of the Divine Essence that is inside us, and guides us into the state of Blessedness.

How sweet is a fruit? There's no way to explain that appropriately, the only way of knowing that is to eat the fruit.

How good is the meditation? There's no way of knowing the taste of its fruits until we don't decide to experience it.

Four Types of Karma & Soul Energy Correction

Title: Four Types of Karma & Soul Energy Correction
FOUR TYPES OF KARMA & SOUL ENERGY CORRECTION

Meaning & Significance of Karma

Karma is a Sanskrit word springing from the root “Kri” - “to do” or “to make” or more simply, “action”. The deeper meaning of Karma can be described as an infinite chain of the results of action that is perceived and performed. Karma is a concept of wisdom, based on the Ancient Vedas and Upanishads, which explains a system where beneficial events are derived from past beneficial actions and harmful events from past harmful actions, creating a chain of actions and reactions throughout a person's reincarnated lives.

When we talk about “Our Karma” we’re talking about the actions we’ve “sown” or performed in the past (including our past lives) that are the cause of what we “reap” in our current life situation. This either becomes our Karmic Burden or Karmic Baggage or our Karmic Blessing depending on whether we’ve performed positive or negative actions in the past.

Every action, either physical, emotional or mental, every movement occurring either on the plane of gross matter (Sthoolam) or on the astral planes (Sookshma), causes an emission of Energy. In other words, it produces a Seed.

Being a Seed, Karma fructifies or does not fructify immediately after it is sown. The innumerable Karmic Seeds we produce by our various actions - desire, aversion, love, hatred, happiness, etc. will undoubtedly produce, sooner or later, a positive or negative result according to the nature of the seed, if not in this life, then in some future one.

The Vedas propound, “Here they say that a person consists of desires. And as is his desire, so is his will. As is his will, so is his deed. Whatever deed he does, that he will reap.”

Karma should not be confused with Fate. Fate is the notion that man’s life is preplanned for him by some external power, and he has no control over his destiny. Karma on the other hand, can be corrected. Because man is a Conscious Being and he can be aware of his Karma and thus strive to change the course of events, with the help of superior powers.

Four Types of Karma

Karma is primarily of four kinds :

1. Sanchita Karma (Sum Total Karma or "Accumulated actions" or the Arrows in the Quiver)

Sanchita Karma is the vast store of piled-up Karma accumulated in the preceding and in all other previous births and yet to be resolved. In other words, it is the aggregate sum of yet unseen Karmas committed during innumerable previous existences. This is your total cosmic debt. Every moment of your every day, you are either adding to it or you are reducing this cosmic debt. It is waiting to be fulfilled in your future births. So unless and until the Sanchita Karma of a Soul is zeroed, it keeps on birthing in new physical bodies, in order to exhaust it's balance Sanchita Karma.

2. Praarabdha Karma (Fructifying Karma or "Actions began; set in motion" or Arrows in Flight)

That portion of the Sanchita Karma destined to influence human life in one or the present incarnation is called Praarabdha. In other words, Praarabdha Karma is Karmic Template (of that portion of Sanchita Karma) that is ripe enough to be experienced by you and alloted for this lifetime for you to work on. If you work down your agreed upon debt in this lifetime, then more past debts will surface to be worked on. And that much Sanchita Karma gets dissolved.

Jyotish, the Vedic Astrology and any other authentic method of Astrology, at it's best, can reveal only the Praarabdha Karma. Thus the Natal Horoscope is the Blue Print of the Karmic Energy Patterns of the Praarabdha Karma only.

3. Kriyamana Karma (Instant, Current Karma or "Being made" or Arrows in Hand)

Kriyamana Karma is the daily, instant Karma created in this lifetime and that we create in our life because of our free actions. It refers to those which are currently in front of us to decide or act on. This contributes to our Future Karma in a big way. They can also be worked off immediately. These are debts that are created and worked off - i.e. for example, you park your vehicle in a 'No Parking Space', you get caught and you are fined (punished) immediately.

While some Kriyamana Karmas bear fruit in the current life, others are stored for enjoying in future births. Thus the Kriyamana Karma is classified into two sub-categories: Arabdha Karma - literally, ‘begun, undertaken;’ the Karma that is ‘sprouting’- and Anarabdha Karma - ‘not commenced; dormant’ or ‘The Seed Karma’. An example : two persons committ a theft and one of them get caught - Arabdha Karma - and the other one got away - Anarabdha Karma. The thief who got caught, immediately starts to feel the effect of the cause or the reaction to his action; he gets caught and goes to jail. The other robber who escaped, will have to experience, in this life or in a future one, the effect of this wrongful action.

The Horary Chart of Prashanna and Aaruda methods of the Vedic Astrology, Tarot Reading, Runes Casting and I-Ching Reading, when done under guidance, can reflect both the Praarabdha Karma as well as the Kriyamana Karma. However, the Energy Consultancy (Energy Audit) and the resulting LifeForce Energy Assessment Report will be more accurate and more specific. It is, in a way, your latest Karmic Energy Bank Statement in the context of the query.

4. Aagami Karma (Future Karma)

Aagami Karma is the Karmic Map that is coming, as a result of the merits and demerits of the present actions of your current birth. In other words, it is the portion of Karma that is created because of the actions in the present life and that will be added to your Sanchita Karma. If you fail to work off your debt, then more debts are added to Sanchita Karma and they become more Karmic Seeds and are served to you in more future lives.

Soul Energy Correction through Crystal Energy Fields

In Vedantic Literature, there is a beautiful analogy. The Archer has already sent an arrow and it has left his hands. He cannot recall it. He is about to shoot another arrow. The bundle of arrows in the quiver on his back is the Sanchita Karma; the arrow he has shot is Praarabdha Karma; and the arrow which he is about to shoot from his bow is Kriyamana Karma. The result of the arrow that he is about to shoot is the Aagami Karma.

Here is a modern example : You go on a motor bike ride and get into an accident. The accident is your Praarabdha Karma – your allotted Karma for this life out of the entire Sanchita Karma of your Soul. To bandage the wound in order to minimize your suffering would be your Kriyamana Karma. To set an intention to be more careful in the future would be your Aagami Karma. To buy a bike light and reflectors in order to avoid future accidents would also be your Kriyamana Karma.

Based on this description, it is generally thought that Praarabdha Karma is inevitable and should be suffered and endured. It has been likened to an arrow which, once shot from a bow cannot be taken back. The intention of this example is to really and only to show how strong the Praarabdha Karma is. It does not mean that there is no remedy at all. An eminent warrior can neutralise the arrow with another arrow and can escape from being its target. Similarly, with the help of SOUL ENERGY CORRECTION done through proper CEFs - CRYSTAL ENERGY FIELDS (under the guidance of Higher Cosmic Light Beings), one can overcome not only the effects of Praarabdha Karma and Aagami Karma through Kriyamana Karma, but also nullify the Sanchita Karma itself, thereby avoiding further rebirths. Hypnosis And NLP - 10 Steps To Release Your Past Trauma

Pradeep Aggarwal 2008-04-05

4. Movie Theater: Now, in your mind's eyes, imagine that you are sitting in front row of a large movie theater.

If the trauma is gone, it's perfect but if still some what is remaining, repeat this exercise for 2 more times.

The Karma Gym and Viral Smiling

Richard Mackenzie 2006-08-24
Title: The Karma Gym and Viral Smiling

Hello it's Hypnotherapist Richard MacKenzie from the UK, here with another great article for you to get sunk right into and use to change your life to achieve the existence of your dreams! And remember if you like this article and it helps you, why not forward it on to friends and family members just to show them how much you care.

So today I want to talk about Karma, but not just any old Karma. I want to talk about contagious Karma! I want to cover how we as humans can become contagious with happiness, love, peace, respect, abundance and much much more.

Just do me a favour and remember those happy times from childhood. Remember the first time that you saved you pocket money to by a gift for a friend of your parents. Remember how great and exciting this new experience felt. Remember the times when you were running around in the playground or in the meadows with your friends or siblings and laughing so hard in hurt.

Even though you were having fun and you were also helping others to do the same. These me be even your earliest memories of actively flexing your 'Karma Muscles'. So I am here to tell you that by flexing you muscles today you will be having all of that fun and so much more. Especially when you think that you know more know than you knew then. You now know about some great new ways that grown-ups can have fun as well, but don't forget to release those 'child-like' qualities in you too!

Just like all that time ago you can go out and get that happiness, love, peace, respect, abundance and better still you can help others to get it too by become contagious!

Ghandi once said, "Be the change you want to see in the world". So I guess the question is – Are you ready to be that change? Are you ready to become happiness, love, peace, respect, abundance? Do you really want people to treat you with happiness, love, peace, respect, abundance almost subconsciously, when they meet you? Are you ready to change your world?

Time and time again I have been told of the butterfly effect. Where a butterfly can in somewhere like London, flap its wings and create a change in the weather in somewhere like Los Angeles. Well this is the same with Karma. Just one smile in Moscow could travel through friends, family and even strangers and who knows where it will stop! When was the last time you walked down the street and a stranger smiled at you? You probably while continuing to walk down the street smiled at least one more stranger! How is this for a new disease – 'Viral Smiling'? Who knows they may have just left there offices just having read the very article that you are reading now! How cool would that be?

So what else can you do to flex your Karma Muscle apart from smiling, which is free and will cause lesser wrinkles in later life compared to frowning? Here are a few ideas of things that you can do to get that muscle pumping.

1.Donate to a charity … one you would not usually support

2.Plant a tree in your neighbourhood.

3.Yes, it's a drag, but why not put your shopping trolley back in its appointed place in the parking lot?

4.Place a coin in an expired parking meter.

5.As you go about your day, why not pick up the litter you find on the pavement?

6.Give another driver your parking spot.

7.Send a letter to a teacher you once had letting her/him know about the difference she/he made in your life.

8.Order a mail-order gift, anonymously, for a friend or someone at work who needs to be cheered up.

9.Go to a hospice or hospital ward and see what you can do for one person.

10.Slip a $10 note into the pocketbook of a needy friend (or stranger).

11.Next time you go over a toll bridge pay the toll for the car behind you and don't forget to thank the toll taker.

12.Laugh out loud often and share your smile generously.

13.If you are the boss, bring your secretary a cup of coffee in the morning.

14.If you have a person with an infirmity living near you, offer to do the grocery shopping for him or her.

But remember… The most valuable thing that you can give someone is your time. Objects can be brought, money can be earned, but time, your time can never be replaced. Just spending five or ten minutes with someone that really needs your advice, could mean the world to them. Who knows but your advice may be recycled four or five times meaning that with your initial five minute investment you could have helped a number of people thus beginning a change to your world!
